In one corner of Tenrou Island, the heavily injured Makarov, Natsu, and Ishu were resting, with Wendy tending to their wounds.

Wendy stopped her healing magic, wiped the sweat from her forehead, and muttered in a discouraged tone, "My magic power... it's not enough. This is the best I can do."

"Thanks, Wendy."

Natsu, who was sitting on the ground, expressed his gratitude.

Among the three, his injuries were the least severe.

For now, at least, he remained conscious and capable of moving.

However, Makarov and Ishu had both fallen into unconsciousness.

Seeing Wendy's dejected expression, Carla reassured her, "Wendy, don't push yourself too hard. You've already done more than enough."

"Yeah, yeah!" Happy and Pantherlily also nodded in agreement.

"Natsu! Wendy!"

Suddenly, a voice called out from afar, causing Natsu and the others to freeze for a moment before turning in the direction of the sound.

In the distance, Noel and Lucy were running toward them.

"Noel! And Lucy too!"

Seeing them, Natsu and Wendy's faces lit up with joy.

As they got closer, Noel and Lucy finally noticed the unconscious figures of Ishu and Makarov lying on the ground.

"This is... Natsu, why is Ishu here? And what happened to Master and Ishu for them to be so badly injured?"

Wendy answered in Natsu's place, "Master Makarov was injured while fighting Grimoire Heart, while Ishu fought against one of the Seven Thrones of the Demon God's Soul. Although he won in the end, he still sustained serious injuries."

Natsu wore an indignant expression. "That crazy woman named Ophelia and Grimoire Heart... Next time I see them, I'll send them flying!"

"You!?"

Seeing the newcomer, Natsu stood up with a disgruntled expression. "Where the hell have you been!?"

Mest took a few steps forward, stopping in front of the group.

After a moment of hesitation, he spoke in a low voice.

"I'm a member of the Magic Council, My real name is Doranbolt."

"Doranbolt!?"

"Don't worry, Wendy," he reassured her.

"I'm here to help. With my magic, I can safely evacuate all Fairy Tail members from this island—once we locate everyone."

"Sorry."

Before Mest could finish speaking, Noel had already cut him off.

"We appreciate the gesture, but unfortunately, we cannot accept this plan."

"Exactly! Why should we owe the Magic Council a favor!?"

Even Carla, who usually disagreed with Noel, surprisingly supported his stance this time.

"Matters within the guild should be resolved by us. That's how we've always done things."

Seeing Noel and the others reject his proposal, Mest spoke anxiously, "It's not just Grimoire Heart—you have to understand, even Demon God's Soul has now descended upon this island! His voice gradually lowered.

"Noel Rutherford, is that really what you think? Opposing the Council... even as one of the Ten Wizard Saints, you won't be able to walk away unscathed."

"That title of 'Wizard Saint' means nothing to me... I never cared for it in the first place. The only thing I want is to protect what I wish to protect. For that, I am willing to pay any price."

Noel closed his eyes briefly, then turned his back to Doranbalt.

"Even though you once deceived us, you're still a decent guy. But if you get involved in this... you'll be dragged down along with us."
