“Remember, everyone, when we return, depending on our location, act according to the plan!” Rishi reminds the group.

Alex takes a glimpse at his [Destiny Watch] and notices that it’s been just 15 minutes since they arrived at the graveyard.

“15 minutes… chances are the others haven’t even noticed. Let’s hurry back and pray everything works out as planned,” Alex urges his comrades.

“Engorgio!” Harry chants, and the Triwizard Cup enlarges again. The players, similar to 15 minutes ago, perform the same action, simply looking at each other as they prepare to touch the Cup. However, this time, three members are missing, and the players’ bodies are covered in dirt, bruises, and blood, their clothes in terrible condition.

Alex sighs, seeing their expressions, while Jewel, perched on his head, stares at the other players with contempt.

These pathetic peasants are so weak. Dearest Soulmate is so much better! Princess Jewel is so impressed. ❤️

Honestly, Jewel, you did even better than me… without you, it would’ve ended with me desperately chasing down those two. Anyway, let’s leave this dark place. I feel kinda sick.

“Ready?” Alex finally asks the group before counting, “1, 2, 3!”

Everyone touches the Cup and quickly vanishes from the graveyard.

The group appears at the very same spot they left, not at the intended location outside the maze.

“Great!” Everyone cheers, having hoped for this exact outcome.

“Harry, Tereza, you two quickly reverse the modification we had Barty Crouch Jr. do,” Rishi orders. “Ben, can you work on collapsing the tunnel?” he continues.

Everyone begins to work, with those unneeded, including Alex, already making their way through the tunnel.

Alex stands at the entrance, helping Ben and his comrades slowly collapse the tunnel entrance.

A few moments later, he hears Tereza yelling, “It should work according to the fake Moody. Harry, quickly touch it again, and you should appear in front of everyone. Hurry up and stick to the story we came up with.”

Tereza quickly waves toward Alex and the other players who have entered the tunnel and lifts her wand, using basic Transfiguration to collapse the tunnel entrance and flatten it to the best of her ability.

As far as Alex can tell, this could be detected, but even so, it shouldn’t be a problem, as they’ll leave soon and don’t expect a large investigation from Dumbledore.

The players quickly make their way toward the exit of the tunnel, and as they exit, they already see Tereza standing in front of it, preparing to use Transfiguration to hide this entrance as well.

The players all rush back toward Hogsmeade.

“Not seeing any quest log popping up? Aren’t we done with the main task?” Alex wonders loudly.

“Let’s wait for Harry to finish the story we prepared for Dumbledore,” Rishi calmly replies.

The players quickly arrive at their homes, staring at each other. Despite the three deaths, most look somewhat cheerful, as death is simply expected at this point in the Realm. Despite this, nobody is speaking up.

“Let’s get some rest. If something unexpected happens, we’ll meet at the meeting point we discussed earlier,” Alex says, not seeing much sense in acting as a group.

As soon as Alex, Rishi, and Tereza enter their home, they notice that Menchi is not yet back.

Alex sits down on the couch, clearly drained from the stress of the earlier encounter.

Jewel decides to leave Alex’s head for once and jumps into his lap.

Dearest Soulmate, your Princess Jewel did well, right? She deserves a reward…

She’s getting a bit more demanding. Anyway, she really deserves it… who knows what would’ve happened if I had to fight 1v2 against those two level 6 players.

Alex carefully takes out a tissue and cleans Jewel’s body, something he does regularly.

When Jewel’s body is completely clean again and sparkles in the light of the living room, Alex gently but firmly massages Jewel’s body, his STR enough to make Jewel feel his massage despite her steel-like body.

❤️

Alex enjoys massaging his pet, as her reactions are extremely honest. In general, Jewel is like a breath of fresh air in this dangerous Realm, because she’s someone that will always back him up and would never betray or harm him.

Suddenly, Alex notices a system message:

“You got it too?!” Tereza asks, her eyes darting between her fellow group members.

“Of course. Well, since we’ve got exactly one day left, there’s no need to talk to the other groups for now. We should meet up tomorrow afternoon and discuss whether we want to risk going back to the Heart of Corruption… Aragog’s lair,” Rishi answers calmly.

“Why wouldn’t we?!” Tereza fires back, obviously confused.

“I could understand why some people might not be interested,” Alex interjects, his face turning serious. “You know, if you, Rishi, Menchi, or Jewel died, I don’t think I’d be in the mood for a risky optional dungeon with an extremely high likelihood of death.”

“I… I see. I guess I didn’t consider that,” Tereza stammers, clearly caught off guard by Alex’s blunt analysis.

As the group continues their discussion, Menchi walks in. Everyone turns to stare at her, but she just grins, casually making her way to the kitchen. She grabs an empty mug and pours herself a butterbeer, acting as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. ƒгeewebnovёl.com

“...”

“...”

“...”

Why is Royal Head Chef Menchi acting like nothing happened? There should be very important things to discuss. Princess Jewel does not understand!

Alex sighs in relief, realizing that everything must have gone smoothly—otherwise, Menchi wouldn’t be acting so nonchalant. Rishi picks up on this too and relaxes, though Tereza continues to stare at Menchi, her curiosity practically radiating off her.

This is called “teasing.” Menchi and Tereza often do this… it's just something they do to annoy others don’t learn from them!

Maid Tereza told Jewel that her Dearest Soulmate likes it though. Should Princess Jewel really not tease her Soulmate?

NO!! And I’ll be having a stern talk with Tereza once we’re done with this mission.

Why? Does Dearest Soulmate prefer Tereza and Menchi over Princess Jewel?

I can’t let her infect pure Jewel with their nonsense. Although I’ve mostly shut that down by now, once we’re back in the Realm and the threat of soul destruction is no longer imminent, they might get bored again.

Finally, Tereza can’t take it anymore. As Menchi sits next to Alex and sips her butterbeer in the most relaxed manner possible, Tereza blurts out, “SO?!” Her tone is demanding, her curiosity boiling over.

“Nothing much,” Menchi replies, in a bored voice. “Harry won, he talked with Dumbledore, the old man got all flustered, canceled the festivities, and everyone went home, obviously confused.”

“Just like we expected… and planned. I don’t see any problem,” Alex comments, leaning back.

“I’m a bit sad that we have to leave tomorrow,” Menchi says, her tone tinged with nostalgia. “I guess I’d better use the last day to take care of any unfinished business.”

“Speaking of unfinished business…” Alex begins, his tone shifting to curiosity. “Aside from the raid on Aragog’s lair, is there something else we forgot? The updated quest had one hidden goal left, which I think is tied to the lair.”

“I think we’ve done everything that needed to be done,” Rishi replies thoughtfully. “Going on a desperate fishing expedition on the last day seems… well, desperate and doomed to fail. We’ve tried everything—even entering the Chamber of Secrets again. But this mission is obviously limited in scope. Without a doubt, the castle has many secrets, but if we haven’t found them by now, I don’t think we’ll find them in a few hours. And that’s all we’ve got tomorrow.”

“I kinda agree,” Alex says, stretching his arms. “I guess I’m heading to bed early, then. It’s the last day tomorrow! Let’s finish it with a bang.” He stands up, hugging both Tereza and Menchi, picking up Jewel, and giving Rishi a pat on the back as he heads upstairs.
