FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO-Chapter 218: Distressed 1
Seated behind the wheel of a rented black BMW and dressed in a double-breasted loose-fitting male check suit, with a copper brown neatly trimmed wig to perfect her disguise, Tina was greatly intrigued to see Blaze right in the place she wanted him.
He had made the costly mistake of hitting her and now it was her turn to deal a fair blow where it hurt the most- his prized love life.
After forwarding the email to Blaze and the senator the previous night, Tina decided to come down to the hospital, knowing Blaze would come seeking answers.
Tina arrived at the hospital, thirty minutes before Blaze did. She took a seat at the hospital reception, pretending to have an early appointment with a doctor. She waited patiently until she saw Blaze walk through the hospital reception door, looking like a loose beast on the hunt for blood. She instantly knew that the doctor was a goner as well as Amelia who had kept such a secret from her husband.
Satisfied with the success of her first mission, Tina left the hospital and returned to her car to wait for Blaze.
About fifteen minutes later, she observed the hospital ambulance driving out of the premises, while blaring its siren loudly. She was wondering who had been involved in an accident so early in the morning when she saw Blaze running out of the hospital like someone being chased by a ghost. He was looking slightly agitated compared to the angry and dangerous-looking man who entered the hospital a few minutes ago.
She watched as he got into his car in a hurry while talking over the phone.
Intrigued and a little curious, she decided to follow his car at a safe distance as it left the hospital premises.

Meanwhile, back at the Shawls mansion, Eugene had just stepped out of the car to go inside and inform Amelia of Maria's condition when he saw the senator running out, carrying an unconscious Amelia in his arms. He was closely followed by an elderly man in uniform, who was screaming to the senator's driver to start the car.
"What the hell!" Eugene's pupils dilated in horror, fear crippling his heart.
Pascal, who was initially standing by the side of his car waiting for Amelia to show up sprinted over to the senator in three long strides, with Eugene running behind him.
"What happened to her, sir," Pascal demanded in a slightly raised voice, looking at the senator accusingly as he observed Amelia's unconscious pale face.
"Isn't it obvious that she fainted?" Senator Gregory said impatiently, beads of sweat crowding his forehead, as he hurried past Amelia's bodyguard towards his car.
"Is this some kind of cruel joke? First, mom and now Amelia?" Eugene asked, anger and frustration rising in his tone.
The senator spared Eugene a quick glance, wondering which mom he was referring to. Nevertheless, he didn't bother seeking answers as he was more concerned about reviving his daughter.
"Please we need to take her to the hospital urgently. I have already tried getting her to wake up but she isn't responding. Help me open the door." Senator Gregory said pointing at the rear seat door while holding his daughter dearly to his chest.
"Why don't we take her car instead?" Pascal suggested, pointing to Amelia's sleek car.
"Does the vehicle we ride in matter right now or my daughter's life?" Senator Gregory frowned at Amelia's bodyguard's insensitive suggestion.
"I guess it doesn't." Pascal apologized and helped the senator open the rear door to his latest edition Mercedes Benz.
"What really happened in there, sir?" Eugene demanded while helping the senator guide Amelia's head into the car. "Did she have a seizure or something?"
"No. We were talking and then she collapsed." The Senator replied, not willing to explain any further as he got into the car, placing his unconscious daughter's head on his lap. "Move this car." He barked at the driver behind the steering wheel.
"I'm coming with you, sir." Pascal got into the front passenger seat of the senator's car, displaying the senator's security aide who was already seated. He knew Blaze would have his head if anything happened to his wife under his watch.
"Me too." Eugene tried to climb into the car but discovered that there was no space for him at the back because of Amelia's current lying posture. "I'll be coming with our car from behind." He said, helping the senator shut the car door before sprinting back to his car.
"Follow that automobile," Eugene said to Lance before dialling Blaze's number.
Unlike before, Blaze picked up on the first ring.
"Are you guys on your way, I'm already close to the mansion," Blaze said.
"Big bro, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Amelia just collapsed."
"What! How!" Blaze screamed from the other end, forcing Eugene to peel the phone away from his ear to prevent his eardrum from exploding. He placed the call on speaker mode and explained.
"Her father said one minute, they were talking and the next minute, she collapsed. I guess he must have said something distressing to her. But he didn't say anything further as he is currently disoriented."
"God, this is not happening." Blaze lamented. "Eugene stay beside her and keep me posted while I follow up on Mom. Once I've ensured that Mom's condition has been stabilized, I will come to you wherever you are."
"Okay, bro. Take things easy. I'll see you later."

Three hours later, Henry strolled through the Salvine International Airport arrival terminal, looking completely captivating in his Western attire.
He captured the attention of a lot of women and other passengers who couldn't help staring and admiring him even though they had no clue of his identity.
Although he wasn't wearing any disguise this time around, it was difficult to recognise him on the spot in his cowboy hat, which covered a reasonable amount of his face and his dark sunshade.
Staring at the crowd ahead, who were busy waving at their respective friends and family, who had just arrived, Henry couldn't help but wonder where Eugene or Blaze's driver was.
'They were supposed to be waiting for him at the arrival terminal or were they running late?' Henry pondered.
He decided to put a call across to Blaze again while pulling at his sliver black hand luggage. The call connected but Blaze didn't pick up.
Next, Henry tried Amelia's number but the call was diverted. He tried Maria's number but didn't get any success. Finally, he tried Eugene's number and almost went nuts when the latter told him that Maria was currently in a critical state at the hospital.
