Nia Mitchell discreetly nodded. Yes, this seemed to align with Maxwell Peary’s way of thinking.

But when she suggested going to a movie today, he had agreed without hesitation.

At this thought, Nia’s heart felt as sweet as honey, but she maintained a proud composure, not letting it show on her face.

"Perhaps he doesn’t need those multi-million dollar deals right now."

Evelyn Peary nodded. That’s true. Her older brother has more money than he can spend; why not enjoy life?

Evelyn Peary had no idea she was being led astray by a certain Rabina Mitchell.

Just then, the door to the private booth suddenly opened, and both Nia Mitchell and Evelyn Peary looked towards it.

"Manager, Miss Zhang is here."

Evelyn Peary smacked her forehead. She’d almost forgotten she had made plans with Miss Zhang much earlier.

"Evelyn, you go ahead. I can wait here by myself."

Evelyn Peary offered an apologetic smile, asked the waiter to bring some fruit and dim sum, and then left.

Nia Mitchell sat there, bored, the only person in the spacious private booth. Eating the fruit that had been delivered, she idly tapped at her phone.

Suddenly, the door to the private booth opened again, and two strangers walked in.

Nia Mitchell was taken aback. Wasn’t this supposed to be Uncle Peary’s exclusive private booth? Why would other people come in?

The middle-aged man leading them faltered for a moment, then a broad smile spread across his older face.

"I am Victoria Perez’s father, the chairman of the Perez Family."

"Is Young Master Peary present?"

Robert Perez scanned the room but didn’t see the person he was looking for.

Just then, the young woman who had been hiding behind Robert Perez suddenly stepped out, pointed at Nia Mitchell, and shrieked, "Dad, it’s this vile woman! It’s her!"

Victoria Perez was so agitated she practically jumped. She couldn’t believe her luck; it was like a blind cat stumbling upon a dead mouse, allowing her to encounter Nia Mitchell once again!

Robert Perez was also taken aback. He had considered that he might come here for nothing, or that he might meet Young Master Peary, but he had never imagined he would encounter Nia Mitchell here.

"What are you doing?" Nia Mitchell stood up, looking at them with a puzzled and slightly fearful expression.

"You little slut! How dare you go against our Perez Family! Are you tired of living?"

Victoria Perez was as haughty as she had been the day before. She couldn’t believe Young Master Peary would target her family’s Company for this woman’s sake. There must have been a mistake somewhere; perhaps it wasn’t Young Master Peary who took action at all. It must be that Father offended someone in the Shopping Mall and got undermined, yet he’s blaming me. I haven’t offended anyone important. Just look at this woman in front of me. Tsk tsk, with these clothes and that makeup-free face, anyone can tell she’s the type with no money and no power.

"Victoria Perez, watch your mouth! Yesterday’s incident is over. Why must you be so relentless?"

Besides, yesterday was clearly her fault. How could someone like that still have the nerve to come looking for trouble again? And she even brought her father along. Haha, truly shameless.

"You’re Victoria Perez’s father, right? Since you’re the chairman of the Perez Family, you should at least be reasonable. Yesterday, your daughter ran into me and tried to hit me, but she ended up suffering the consequences and falling down herself."

Nia Mitchell finished her angry tirade. Robert Perez wiped the sweat from his forehead and nodded obsequiously.

"Yes, I understand that now. My daughter is just a bit spoiled; she doesn’t actually have a malicious heart."

Nia Mitchell silently rolled her eyes. If this is her ’not having a malicious heart,’ then just how malicious would she have to be to actually be considered bad?
