Coming back, I snorted again. Throwing the coin once more.

Palm, gold, eyes, and ears uncovered.

The three occupants of the lightened up room are thinner; their eyes are empty; they could as well be corpses.

The tall girl sits unmovingly in a corner and is waiting; her ridiculously long, thin hair is covering her features.

Suddenly, she raises her head and looks up, her body taut. 

Her eyes are dazed as she takes a breath, the sound audible to everyone in the room. The next moment, she breathes out. 

She stands up, and her parents look at her in horror. The skeleton-like figure suddenly seemed to have more flesh on it; the long, damaged hair turned shiny and stronger; her skin seemed healthier, overall more beautiful than they had ever seen her before.

"I said I will bring you out, haven't I?" A stunning smile plays around her lips as she extends her hand, and after a big movement as if pulling down a zipper within the air in front of her, something changed.

Something opened.

An earth-shattering sound thrums through the air, similar to a lock springing open. 

"Come, let's go!" She says to the old couple.

The older woman shakes her head in fear, mumbling something. Her husband pulls her up, whispering something in her ear. They walk to the tall girl, and she steps behind them.

She pushes them, only for them to disappear after one stumbling step.

She again looks back and grins, taking the same steps her parents had taken, and lands in a landscape full of trash. 

The sky has an undefinable color—no sun, no moon, no stars. 

And so much garbage.

The tall girl looks at her unconscious parents before turning back.

She sees a shadowy figure that slips through the transparent portal, followed by another, and another, until she loses count. They disappear as if evaporating in the air.

Terror overtakes her features as she runs to her parents, shaking them.

"Wake up; we have to go. WAKE UP!"

Coming back, I burst into laughter.

"What is going on?" Henry asked me, crouched down beside me and staring at me.

"Oh, everything is alright, perfect, beautiful even!" I grinned at him, feeling the grip I thought I had regained on my sanity loosen again.

"Oh, Henry. You two...what can I say?" I shook my head in mirth.

"You two. Oh my goodness! LET'S GET YOU A TV SHOW!" I laughed out loud, and Henry looked as if he was losing his patience.

"What is going on?" His voice deepened.

"There is no way for me to ruin the surprise." I nodded at my newly discovered integrity.

"Your precious sister is on the other side of the cave. Her parents are with her." I tilted my head and looked at him curiously, my smile not diminishing.

"How is it, bro? Are you happy? Your sister!! Yaaiy!" I was only short on applauding.

"Enough!" He stood up and scooped me up again, this time princess-carry style.

Instead of fighting him, I let him transport me and conjured up a much-needed cigarette while he jumped the hatch down from the roof.

"No smoking; you are injured." He sternly said, and I took a drag, blowing it in his face.

"How about you shut the fuck up?"

"What have you seen?" He walked the staircase down as if I weighed nothing. I really suspect that he becomes stronger with each day.

Then the two evil twins can go around and continue to destroy the world.

"Ask your sister."

"Are you so hung up on making me angry because you saw me becoming gay?" He scowled.

I again shut my mouth. No, that's not the reason, but it doesn't help.

I just hate you and your sister.

"Kenny please! What the fuck? I won't. It's sickening just to think about it. I told you I wouldn't get it on with any girls; that also included other men. I told you I am devoted to my role as your dog." He was visibly offended, which was reassuring me a bit before I caught a peculiarity in his words.

"What do you mean 'other' men? Other than whom??" I felt a vein pop, and I was only so short on punching him.

"What?" Henry jumped out of the window with me, bringing us outside, and after thinking for a moment, he corrected himself.

"No. I meant any man." Again, a pause, and his eyes widened.

"The vision... was it really about you and me?"

"You saw me giving you a blowjob?" He really had to speak it out.

He stopped in his tracks, searching for the answers in my eyes.

Too close, with too much confusion on his face. I don't like it. I tried to get out of his arms, but he tightened his grip.

"What?" He suddenly chuckled, his mole dancing on his dirty face.

"Sure that it wasn't just your wishful thinking?"

The cigarette between my fingers disappeared, and I struck his face with my elbow as hard as I could.

He let go of me, and I jumped away from him.

"I didn't say it was me." I hissed.

"Your reaction tells me." Henry laughed and held his bleeding nose.

"HOW ABOUT YOU GO AND FUCK YOURSELF?"

"Aren't I fucking you?" His blue eyes looked at me with an intensity I had never seen before.

I conjured up my gun and magazine. After putting them together, I fired; the bullet struck right besides Henry's feet.

"HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN YOUR POSITION?" I yelled, out of my mind.

Henry was stumped and opened his mouth before closing it.

Eventually, his shoulders slumped, and he bowed his head.

"No."

"I am your dog."

"I apologize."

"Kneel, you fucker." I said and saw him obeying with satisfaction.

I pointed my gun at him.

His sister was the reason for the parallel worlds colliding; I bet it had all started with her.

This pair of brothers and sisters not only had destroyed my life, they had destroyed everybody's life.

If I kill him now, I can prevent any kind of backstabbing in the future. And with his strength constantly increasing, he would make a good accessory at his sister's side.

The latter opening portals and letting out monsters on the go, the former fighting off whatever threatens to harm her.

What he had promised me was bullshit; he will surely soon turn to his sister's side.

"Kennith Howard." I heard my grandmother's voice coming from the window nearby.

His sister had opened the first portal; I am SURE of it. The way she handled the one I saw just now was too experienced, too natural.

She had withheld information to no ends, like how she was able to open portals and how she was getting stronger even if not killing her counterpart herself.

"What is it?" I asked her, not moving my finger that leaned gently against the trigger, easily ending Henry in less than half a second.

She wanted to use Kenny3, but finally ended up using me to kill her counterpart; that makes me the angriest. For whatever reason, not only did it give her more power, she also took a few shadows with her. If she is that scared of them, then don't tell me that this won't be a problem in the future.

"Come inside. There are pineapple slices waiting for you."

Yes, Henry is not Henrietta, but still. He could become her asset. And this fucker did nothing to stop his lunatic sister from going on and destroying the world.

"Are you continuing to play around?" She inquired.

The future can change; he can turn his back on me anytime. He will change sides, he will forsake his debt, and he will leave me behind.

"Or are you eating the snack your grandmother had painstakingly prepared for you, you brat?"

I chuckled, the gun disappeared, and I turned around to go eat my pineapple.
