Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton-Chapter 1797 - 1358: How about giving Big Mouth a new core?
When discovering this massive ruin, the Gray Divine Star was more panicked than the Monarch. The Monarch wasn’t panicked but excited, whereas the Gray Divine Star was truly scared.
It had been born in this void for hundreds of millions of years. If a God Star nearby was destroyed, it would definitely know, unless it was destroyed during the time it was imprisoned.
But whatever the time of destruction, an unknown force capable of destroying a God Star was enough to terrify it. Thankfully, it was just a Devouring Abyss.
Upon hearing that it was a Devouring Abyss, the Monarch was instead disappointed: "Not a God Star?"
"No, no, it’s Tidra, a gluttonous Devouring Abyss that never communicates with anyone, just focused on devouring and devouring." The Gray Divine Star said in a relaxed tone.
"Devouring Abyss, isn’t that just like the Primordial God, Abyssal Big Mouth? Aren’t there no Primordial Gods here?" Anthony asked with a frown.
"I don’t know what Primordial Gods you are referring to." The Gray Divine Star said.
"They’re primordial entities birthed by various Laws of the Void, like the Devouring Origin, Time-Space Dragon, Dark Origin, and Space Worm." Negriss explained.
"How could there possibly be none? The laws of the void are the same everywhere; could it be you have Law Origins and we don’t? Isn’t Tidra a Devouring Origin? We visited the Time-Space Dragon’s domain before; haven’t seen the Dark Origin or Space Worm, but since a Devouring Origin and Time-Space Dragon can be born, Dark Origin and Space Worm should also be possible." The Gray Divine Star said.
Anthony and Negriss exchanged glances, yes, why had they overlooked the Time-Space Dragon? Wasn’t the Dragon God born here?
When they first came here, they actually didn’t know the situation here, just noticed that the humans here possessed the Power of Chaos, so they thought it wasn’t the same world, and having not discovered any Ancient Gods, they thought maybe the laws were different.
This was the perception they had upon first arriving and never changed it later on, even when reaching the Dragon God’s territory they didn’t realize the problem, because they were too familiar with the Dragon God and didn’t consider him as an Origin.
Now being reminded by the Gray Divine Star, they realized that not only the Dragon God but also King Fei Lie...
"Does King Fei Lie count as an Origin?" Anthony asked.
"No, he’s a traditional skeleton." Negriss replied.
"Then does His Majesty count as an Undying Origin?" Anthony asked again.
"Yes, because his Primordial Body is condensed through the Chaos Mist, but this current Star Body doesn’t count." Negriss said.
Negriss nodded in understanding, so before the appearance of this Devouring Abyss Tidra, only the Time-Space Dragon belonged to the Origin in this world.
Tidra’s appearance confirmed something, that the laws of the void here are the same as the Chaos Plane. If the Chaos Plane can birth an Origin, then this place can too.
"If this is the Devouring Origin, then isn’t it too big? Bigger than a God Star." Negriss said.
The Gray Divine Star said: "It’s because it is a Devouring Abyss that it could be bigger than a God Star. It can devour, it used to mainly operate on the edge of the Boundless Space Hole."
The words of the Gray Divine Star startled Anthony and Negriss: "How much has it devoured?"
"No one knows, anyway, there’s endless matter on the edge of the Boundless Space Hole for it to devour. I haven’t seen it since leaving the Abyss Bridge and thought it had wandered elsewhere, didn’t expect it to be dead." The Gray Divine Star said.
"How can you be sure it’s Tidra? What if it’s another God Star?" The Monarch said somewhat unwillingly.
He had seen the Devouring Abyss before; Abyssal Big Mouth used to argue with him daily, which was no fun. If it were another God Star, things would get interesting, who blew up the God Star?
The Gray Divine Star pointed to the center of the ruin: "There is an Abyss Core there, which is the heaviest part sedimented after the Devouring Abyss devoured all the matter into its body, forming a core of enormous mass. Ordinary creatures falling on it could be crushed directly, a God Star doesn’t have such a core."
"Abyss Core? Sir, does Abyssal Big Mouth have a core?" Anthony asked.
Ange recalled and nodded: "A ball, core?"
While speaking, Ange gestured a size, roughly the size of a dodgeball that Star Descendants play with. Of course, the Star Descendants are large in size, their dodgeballs are about one and a half meters in diameter. But relative to the size of the Abyssal Big Mouth, it’s too small, is that the Devouring Abyss core?
"How big is this core?" Anthony asked.
"About five kilometers in diameter." The Gray Divine Star said.
"Let’s go, let’s take a look." The Monarch said excitedly.
If the Abyssal Big Mouth’s core is only about one and a half meters, then this five-kilometer core would interest the Monarch; how much does this Devouring Abyss have to devour?
From the perspective of Ange, the Monarch, and the Gray Divine Star, they could see the core of the ruins, but Anthony and Negriss couldn’t see it; it was already far beyond their visual range, not to mention human visual range but Star Descendant visual range.
If calculated with distances they could understand, from the outermost point to the center point, it’s at least two-thirds of the distance from the Chaos Plane to the anchor point, which is two-thirds of 160 million kilometers, approximately 110 million kilometers.
Back then, it took Ange and the others several months to fly that distance, now it’s faster, only a few Star Shifts.
After the last Star Shift, everyone felt their bodies sink, their forms involuntarily falling towards the core direction.
At this moment, they were all in their Star God’s Body, while the Monarch’s true form was still flying slowly from behind; the Star God Avatar was faster and thus kept up first.
Upon feeling the gravity, they habitually virtualized themselves. Once virtualized, they had no solid form, reducing the impact of gravity; if there were air on a plane, they could even float on the air, as their virtualized form is lighter than air.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t feasible here; even after virtualization, they still fell toward the center, and as they got closer, the gravity felt heavier, and the fall speed increased.
Everyone quickly switched to another method to stabilize their forms, and at this moment the core was no longer in ’front’ but underneath, at least 500,000 kilometers below, a five-kilometer diameter sphere with a layer of black mud crust on the surface.
"The gravity is already so large from this distance? Wouldn’t it crush a person on the surface?" Negriss said in shock.
"It would indeed crush a person, the core is intact, so essentially this Devouring Abyss is still alive, just push nearby objects towards it for it to devour, and once it reaches a certain amount, it will evolve into a Devouring Abyss again, except Tidra’s consciousness is completely dead." The Gray Divine Star said.
Negriss’ eyes lit up: "It’s still alive? Ange, how about using it to revive Big Mouth? Big Mouth’s core is only one and a half meters, give it such a large core instead, wouldn’t it be overjoyed?"
