The man blinked, then slowly straightened in his seat, his towering frame growing even more imposing. His eyes, cold and unflinching, fixed on Blue as if her presence had only just registered as something worth acknowledging. His voice was low, a rumble of quiet authority. "And who are you to tell me how I should speak?"

Blue puffed out her tiny chest, wings buzzing with defiance as she floated inches from his face. "I am the great Blue!" she declared, voice high-pitched but full of confidence. "I’ll have you know I’m related to the divine goddess herself! I was brought here to watch over the great Ty Hockinson and ensure his safety!" Her voice sped up as she continued, "And you will not bad-mouth JJ!

She is a very beautiful woman, and she’s going to marry Ty one day!"

JJ nearly choked on her own breath, coughing sharply as her face turned a deep shade of red. "Okay, slow down, Blue," she said hurriedly, glancing at the man with a mix of embarrassment and dread.

In an instant, the air shifted. Before Blue could react, the man’s hand shot out with lightning speed, his massive fingers wrapping around her tiny body with terrifying precision. His grip wasn’t crushing, but the power behind it was clear. He brought her closer to his face, his eyes narrowing to dangerous slits.

"So... are you fond of a good fight, little fairy?" he growled, his voice carrying a threatening edge. "Do you really think I care if the goddess who watches over this world has chosen you for some purpose? My son—Alexander—will conquer everything this world has to offer and eventually become king."

Blue’s small frame trembled slightly in his grip, not from fear but from the sheer force of his strength. She could feel the pressure, knowing he wasn’t even trying to hurt her yet. This guy’s strength is insane! she thought, feeling the air leave her lungs for a moment. He could snap me like a twig if he wanted to. How does he even hold onto cups?!

With a cough, Blue gathered herself, still trying to keep her bravado intact. "H-Hey, I have a question," she managed to squeak.

The man’s brow furrowed, his grip loosening just slightly, intrigued by her sudden change of tone. "What is it, strange creature?"

"H-How do you hold cups?" Blue gasped, her wings fluttering weakly. "Do you grip them this tightly? I can’t imagine drinking tea like this..."

The man blinked, momentarily caught off guard by the absurdity of her question. "I... just hold them," he said, the confusion evident in his deep voice.

Before Blue could respond, he released her abruptly, and she tumbled mid-air, fluttering to catch her balance. The man let out a booming laugh, his large frame shaking. "That’s a funny statement, little fairy," he said, his tone lighter now. "You know, when I was just five years old, I crushed my first steel cup. My mother had to give me five-pound cups to teach me how to stop breaking them."

JJ watched, her eyes wide in disbelief as the man leaned over to the nearby table, grabbing a gleaming silver cup. He passed it to Blue, his massive hand dwarfing the small object. "Here," he said, a smirk playing on his lips, "why don’t you give it a try?"

Blue stared at the cup for a moment, her hands reaching out to wrap her tiny fingers around its sides. For a brief second, she thought she had it—but then the cup slammed to the ground with a heavy thud, pulling her down with it. Her color shifted from soft blue to an angry red as she grunted, her wings buzzing frantically.

"Why is this cup so heavy?!" she squeaked, struggling against its weight. "This isn’t normal!"

The man tilted his head slightly, his eyes gleaming with amusement as he watched her efforts. "That’s because it weighs fifty kilograms," he said with a chuckle, his deep voice reverberating through the room. "I knew you were a strong little creature. You’ve got more fight in you than you let on."

Blue’s wings beat faster, her face growing redder as she tried to lift the cup again, her small arms shaking with effort. "Fifty kilograms?!" she gasped, her voice barely audible through her exertion. "This cup... is... too... heavy!"

Another laugh erupted from the man as he reached down, his massive hand engulfing the cup as he lifted it effortlessly. He crushed it between his fingers, the metal crumpling like paper in his grip. "Oops," he said, the laughter still rumbling in his chest. "I sometimes forget to not squeeze when I laugh."

JJ stood frozen, her mouth slightly open, watching the scene unfold with a blank expression. "Did... did they just become friends?" she muttered under her breath, not quite sure what to make of the bizarre interaction.

The man tossed the crumpled cup aside, his hand resting casually on the arm of his chair as his gaze shifted back to Blue, who hovered before him, her arms defiantly crossed and her wings buzzing in irritation. She glared at him, unwavering despite the enormous gap in their size and power.

"You’re a feisty one," he rumbled, his voice tinged with a trace of something new—perhaps respect, though faint. "I like that. Not many people around here have the guts to talk back to me."

Blue’s chest puffed up slightly, her wings flaring with pride. "Well, you haven’t met many fairies then," she shot back, her tiny voice filled with bravado. "I’m not just anyone, big guy. And you better believe I’ll speak my mind when it comes to JJ and Ty."

The man’s lips curled into a small smile, a dark amusement dancing in his eyes. "I suppose the goddess sent you with a bit of fire after all." His massive form shifted in the chair as he leaned forward, bringing his face closer to Blue’s. His towering presence loomed over her, but Blue held her ground—or rather, the air—refusing to back down.
