Goodbye, Ex-husband! I'm Pregnant with Your Uncle's Child!-Chapter 75 - You Are Really Not Behaving
75: Chapter 75 You Are Really Not Behaving
75 -75 You Are Really Not Behaving
James Thompson’s hand had just touched his shirt buttons when Julia Land’s cellphone rang.
He thought about turning it off,
but was stopped by Julia Land.
It was a call from Sophia Hart.
Sophia Hart had asked her to meet at the billiard hall.
What could be more important than sisterhood?
Men could take a backseat for now.
Julia Land agreed cheerfully, and after hanging up the phone, she managed to coax an unhappy James Thompson away with a smile.
She quickly changed into another dress and drove to meet Sophia Hart at the billiard hall.
“Pearl sis, we’ve been waiting for you.”
Sophia Hart waved her small hand.
The billiard hall was already booked out by Sophia Hart tonight.
Both men and women were wearing high-end brands.
Everyone here was from the circle of rich heirs and heiresses.
Julia Land glanced around; she had seen some of them when she used to accompany Noah Quarter to banquets.
In fact, as soon as Julia Land arrived at the billiard hall, two men had received the news.
One was James Thompson, who had been coaxed back to the Noble Grid Hotel, and the other was Noah Quarter.
A few heiresses looked at Julia Land with evaluating eyes.
A divorced female secretary, and she still knew Miss Hart.
Julia Land’s status, in their eyes, was hardly worth mentioning.
Julia Land naturally noticed a few people looking at her with disdain, but she was also quite relaxed.
She wasn’t here for them tonight.
When Trevor Sullivan saw Julia Land enter in a red dress, he smiled, “Miss Land, good evening.”
Julia Land nodded at him and smiled with a curve of her lips.
Sophia Hart’s smile was radiant, “Pearl sis, how about a game of pool?
You and Mr.
Sullivan.”
Julia Land nodded, “Okay.”
Trevor Sullivan raised an eyebrow and handed Julia Land the cue stick, “Do you need me to go easy on you?”
Julia Land’s brows rose slightly, she chalked the cue tip, “No need.”
“Pearl sis, avenge me!”
Sophia Hart took a sip of her juice, cheering for Julia Land.
She had already lost to Trevor Sullivan tonight; the man showed no gentleman’s concession.
“Okay, I’ll avenge you.
Wait for it.”
The two women high-fived, laughing.
Julia Land glanced at the billiard table, took the cue in hand, and bent forward.
The split in her red dress tonight perfectly revealed her curves pressed against the table.
Trevor Sullivan touched his nose.
A few people came over to watch their match.
When Julia Land played, her entire focus was on the cue and the balls.
She shot the ball.
Her movements were smooth and confident, and her gaze was captivating.

Some finally understood why Julia Land, the secretary, had been able to marry Noah Quarter, the aloof man.
This woman was attractive, not just for her looks but sometimes, her aura was magnetic.
Like right now.
“Mr.
Sullivan, your turn,” Julia Land said with a mischievous smile.
Initially playing casually, Trevor Sullivan was prodded into real competition.
He leaned forward, his tall figure drawing shy glances from the heiresses as he made his shot.
Laughter sounded around them.
“Young Master Sullivan, come on, don’t let us men down.”
Trevor Sullivan glared at them, “Don’t worry, I won’t lose.”
Sophia Hart snorted, “Pearl sis won’t lose either!”
When James Thompson arrived at the billiard hall, he saw Julia Land having fun and chose not to approach.
He stood there, his gaze deepening as he watched her leaning forward to take her shots.
After a while, he quietly stepped outside the hall to wait for Julia Land.
A black sedan was parked across the street.
Noah Quarter’s cool gaze was fixated on the man outside the billiard hall, his expression growing dark.
Unnoticed, the clock struck past one, and Julia Land left the billiard hall.
She had to work the next day and couldn’t keep playing.
She had just exited the hall when she saw the man leaning against the car door.
He was dressed differently from his usual attire.
A black short-sleeved shirt, black trousers.
The black mamba tattoo on his arm was exposed.
He turned his head to look at Julia Land.
Julia Land started smiling, “Mr.
Thompson, you’re really not behaving.”
Despite already being coaxed back to the hotel, he had come here to pick her up.
The streetlight illuminated her radiant face.
Meanwhile, Noah Quarter in the sedan felt his heart pounding wildly, and with a hoarse voice, directed the driver, “Drive.”
A car drove past the entrance of the billiard hall,
And a man was carrying a woman on his back.
James Thompson was steadying Julia Land, with her warmth pressed against his broad back.
Her breathing sprinkled near his ear.
He turned his head to look at her, “Go home?”
Julia Land puckered her lips suddenly, “Kiss me first.”
James Thompson let out a laugh that was unintentionally sexy.
The hand he had on her backside tightened for an instant, then relaxed, with an imperious voice, “Woman, don’t tempt fate.”
Julia Land covered her mouth, laughing out loud.
A classic overbearing CEO phrase.
James Thompson carried her for a while until the driver slowly followed behind in the car.
Julia Land deliberately asked, “Am I very heavy?”
James Thompson didn’t think before seriously responding, “Yes.”
Julia Land, “….
Then you can put me down.”
James Thompson stopped, turned around, and looked at her teasingly, “Don’t worry, even if you change shape in the future, I can still carry you.”
Julia Land stretched out her hand, twisted his ear with her fingertips.
“You’re the one who will change shape!”
She twisted enough until he let her down and opened the car door for her.
His ear had turned red from the twisting.
His expression was as arrogantly handsome as ever.
Back at the Sincere Heart Community building.
The door slammed shut.
The lights were off.
Julia Land was pushed against the door, James Thompson’s hands pinned at her waist.
She tilted her head back, and he leaned in.
Tonight, watching her bending over at the billiard hall, he had thought.
Just then, a vibration from James Thompson’s pocket.
He took out his phone to check the message.
[BOSS, Noah Quarter is sitting in the sedan opposite the billiard hall]
The corner of James Thompson’s lips curled up, his smile faintly cold, ready to regain hold of what he had released, but only if he approved.
He placed the phone on the cabinet; his defined fingers intertwined with hers.
“I’ll come with you to play pool, okay?”
The man’s heavy breath approached her ear, he rasped.
“Hmm?” Julia Land’s eyes puzzled, so late and still wanting to play pool?
He chuckled and turned her around.
“Bend over, brace against the door.”
“!”
Outside, there was the sound of a door opening, and Julia Land pushed James Thompson.
The door clicked open, and Sophia Hart was about to push her way in but was closed from the inside.
Outside, Sophia Hart was puzzled, her ears pressed against the door.
There was no sound after the door was closed.
She hadn’t expected the door’s soundproofing to be so effective.
The girl sighed and decided to stay in a hotel for the night.
Inside, Julia Land’s eyes were flushed, glaring at James Thompson.
The next day, the alarm went off.
Julia Land sleepily reached out to turn off the alarm clock on the bedside table.
Another hand beat her to it, shutting off the alarm.
Julia Land closed her eyes, flipped over, and tucked herself into the man’s embrace, nudging him, “You get up first.”
Instead of getting up herself, she poked James Thompson’s chest, urging him to rise.
