Gravity Mage with Level-Up System-Chapter 1830: Part 2: Time for a good plan
Gallery Office Room
A few minutes later, Elder Blake and the officials were sitting opposite Manager Lara. Silence filled the room.
Lara understood the situation, but she believed there should have been a better response.
The Flame Elemental Tower had done this twice now; they disregarded the rules and caused problems in someone else's territory.
"I know why you guys are here. I think you should wait for now, because someone important is paying a visit," Lara said. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"I'll tell the person about it," I added.
Hearing that, Elder Blake broke out into a cold sweat. The officials were shocked. They didn't understand the meaning behind her words, but Elder Blake somewhat understood.
He thought someone from the Silver Tower was coming. He apologized once again before leaving with his members.
Time Passed
Charlotte reached the city. She had arrived quickly, and upon finding the Crystal Community, she went there directly. Her flying car landed directly in front of the mansion.
Manager Lara saw the flying car and rushed outside. The other members were all taken aback, surprised by Manager Lara's reaction.
They followed her outside, and Old Man Rock went with them as well.
Swoosh!
When they appeared outside, their gaze fell on the white car. Charlotte stepped out. She looked at the big mansion, then her gaze swept across the members.
As she looked at Lara and the staff, her gaze seemed to pass right through them; no secrets were left.
She saw that their mana cores were under some kind of binding, and her eyes flashed with a glint.
She recovered her thoughts and called out, "Lara!"
Hearing that, Manager Lara came forward to greet her. The other staff members were petrified.
They couldn't see through her strength; instead, they felt an invisible pressure weighing on them. Old Man Rock felt even worse.
His forehead was covered in sweat as he realized something: the person was likely a Forbidden Wizard. He didn't say it out loud.
Charlotte walked in, and Lara led her to Vincent Carey. The members all stayed behind. They understood someone important had arrived.
Once the two were out of sight, Patrick, Otto, and Hank turned to Old Man Rock, thinking he knew the answer.
Rock saw through their thoughts but didn't want to make any comments. He was afraid the Forbidden Wizard might hear them.
The Room
The system gave me a reminder that someone had come, so I was awake. Then the door opened. Manager Lara and Lord Charlotte walked in. Seeing them, I got up and greeted them.
Charlotte confirmed that Vincent Carey was healthy. She was surprised but happy. She had been worried earlier that the injury could be serious, but now she saw she had been worried for nothing.
"So, you've had some rough days after completing such a high-profile mission."
"I didn't believe it when Lara told me that you had become a Supreme Wizard and joined our faction. Now, I can see the truth for myself," Charlotte said in a calm tone.
Hearing that, I didn't know what to say. I remained quiet.
"I knew you had appraisal skills. You had a job earlier in the Silver Tower appraising unknown items."
"If you had wanted, I would have given you an official position. You wouldn't have to waste time doing missions," Charlotte said.
I shook my head and replied, "I wanted to collect resources for my gravity magic. I also needed to find a specific environment where I could comprehend rule power."
"It's hard to collect information alone, so I'm using the shop to do business and gather information at the same time."
Charlotte understood and sighed inwardly, but her appreciation for Vincent increased. She knew the Sub-Taboo magic path was not easy to tread. Silence fell for a few minutes.
"Alright, I heard you have a new plan. Tell me about it," Charlotte said.
I sighed in relief. I had been worried she would ask me to give up. I took a deep breath before explaining my plan, the same one I had told Manager Lara.
A Few Minutes Later
Charlotte agreed with the plan. She didn't find anything wrong with it and agreed that the appraisal shop needed more protection. The identity of Manager Lara alone was not enough.
"Alright, your plan sounds good," Charlotte said. "But we have to do something about the Flame Elemental Tower."
"To think they dared to cause problems here. Crystal City is one of our main cities and business here is thriving, but their arrival has caused disruptions."
"We need to reassure the locals and business people. I'm going back to convene a meeting and demand answers from the Dark Faction."
"If possible, I can get you compensation. Do you have anything in mind?" Charlotte asked.
I shook my head.
Manager Lara stood nearby, glad that Lord Charlotte had decided to take the matter seriously. On the other hand, I thanked Lord Charlotte, and we talked about a few more things.
A few minutes later, Charlotte and Manager Lara left Crystal City in the same flying car. When they were gone, the members came to see me.
"Master, are you alright? How are you feeling?" Hank asked. Patrick and Otto asked questions as well, while Old Man Rock stood silent, watching me.
Before I could say anything, I saw the Vine Monster and the Sky Salamander enter the room. A bright smile appeared on my face.
"I'm doing fine. There won't be any problems in the future," I told them.
"Master, who was that female wizard?" Hank asked. The others turned toward me, wanting to know the answer as well.
"She is the Forbidden Wizard Charlotte. I am from her faction. She assured me there won't be any more problems," I said. After that, I started telling them about my plan.
Everyone was shocked, but they liked the plan. They didn't want anyone to target the shop or Master Vincent again.
If Master Vincent used his real identity, there would be fewer problems. Everyone was happy about the plan.
I saw through their thoughts; I was doing this for the members' safety as well.
