Days passed.

The people of Crystal City were returning to normalcy. At this point, they were quite used to the situation.

Still, they were worried that someone might break the rules and use magic spells in their fights.

If it were Level 9 wizards, they wouldn't be this scared. But the people who were fighting were all Magic Lords. A single spell attack from the Magic Lords would destroy the city.

They were worried that the Flame Elemental Tower could go to such lengths. They needed assurance from the Silver Tower.

Because of the fear, business was dull. If this continued, the Silver Tower might incur losses, which would affect their revenue.

Fortunately, the Forbidden Wizard Charlotte was working on that. Her return was no longer a secret. The magic city came to know that Lord Charlotte was indeed back.

Earlier, Lord Erwin had made his return. Now, he was visiting his old friends one by one in the satellite cities.

Since they were back, no one would cause a problem. But the people of the Green Elemental Tower and the Red Flame Elemental Tower were cautious, especially the people of the Flame Elemental Tower.

Magic Lord Scott and a few other members did cause problems at Crystal City, not once, but twice. They were expecting retaliation from the Silver Tower.

Knowing that Lord Charlotte had returned, Magic Lord Scott didn't have the guts to go to Crystal City again. He was afraid that he would be captured by Lord Erwin or Charlotte.

He regretted being involved in the attack, but he knew if he hadn't done it, Lord Callum would have skinned him alive.

Silver Tower

A meeting was taking place in the Silver Tower. The Magic Lords and the Forbidden Wizards attended. An old woman named Isabella was present as well.

Isabella was scared. She was worried that there would be punishment. For the first few minutes, silence filled the room. No one spoke.

There were two factions inside the meeting: the White Silver and the Dark Faction, and they were staring into each other's eyes.

Lord Erwin and Charlotte were there. Erwin said, "Why are we silent?"

"Someone from the Dark Faction has crossed the line. She dared to attack someone close to us," he added.

Hearing that, Isabella's face turned pale with fright. The worst had happened; her actions weren't hidden.

Especially when she heard the call from Lord Erwin that day, she knew there was going to be trouble.

"What?"

"Why should we fight among ourselves for an outsider? I heard he is an appraiser close to Manager Lara, but he is not an official member of the Silver Tower," an old man from the Dark Faction side said.

"He is not an outsider. He is going to become part of our White Silver Faction soon," Charlotte said.

Gasp!

Hearing that, surprise filled the room. They didn't know the two of them would go to such lengths.

But this time, it was the fault of the Dark Silver Faction. If Isabella hadn't made her move, they wouldn't be in this current situation.

The old man understood this. He turned towards Erwin and Charlotte.

"Tell me, what do you guys want?"

"We should avoid infighting," the old man added.

Erwin smiled and said, "I'm going to take action against the Flame Elemental Tower. Their Tulip City is one of their strongholds. I'm going to target them."

Gasp!

The other wizards gasped in surprise. They knew Lord Erwin was up to something, but they didn't expect him to have such a plan.

If he planned to go against the Flame Elemental Tower, then he needed the support of the Dark Silver Faction as well.

The Dark Silver Faction began to discuss the matter among themselves. If it was a fight against other factions, the Silver Tower needed to stand as one.

The old man discussed it with the others and they came to a conclusion a few minutes later.

"Alright, we agree. But you are responsible if something happens. The Mage Union might be watching our movements," the old man said. "We have to get permission from the elders of our faction."

"Okay," Erwin replied. He knew the permission of the elders was needed in the end. He was going to get permission from Elder Dana.

"Cough!"

"I have to add something," Charlotte said from the side.

Hearing that, the others turned towards her. They wondered what she was up to, but Erwin already knew.

Charlotte smiled and said, "Vincent Carey is going to be the new owner of the Appraisal Shop in Crystal City. He has bought the shop. Appraiser Frank will work for him."

"What?" 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

A huge exclamation broke out. The name "Vincent Carey" was known to everyone. Vincent Carey was a famous wizard who had shot to fame recently.

He had joined as a Wizard Seed, and it didn't take long for him to grow stronger.

Before everyone could realize it, the Wizard Seed had become a Supreme Wizard.

The status of a Supreme Wizard was different from that of a Wizard Seed; it meant Vincent Carey was part of the inner circle.

What's more, they knew Vincent Carey was a Sub-Taboo Magic user.

Elders of both factions paid attention to him because Vincent Carey had single-handedly caused problems for the Elemental Towers and the wizard families behind them.

They had been looking for him everywhere. Until recently, they had received news that Vincent Carey had joined the White Silver Faction.

Now that he had become the owner of the Appraisal Shop, everyone had mixed reactions.

The face of the old woman, Isabella, did not look good. She disliked the shop owner, Frank, and felt disrespected by him.

Now, hearing the news, she was shocked to her core. If she wanted to cause problems for Frank, it wouldn't be possible from now on.

She had already been forgiven once. If she made a mistake next time, the people on her own side wouldn't be able to support her.

She was unwilling, but she decided not to think about Crystal City anymore. She had already learned her lesson.

"Where is he?" the old man asked.

"He is staying in a safe place. He will make his appearance soon," Charlotte replied.
