Greatest Legacy of the Magus Universe-Chapter 759: Cruel and Vicious (Ko-fi Bonus - )
With another way of his hand, Adam willed the Magic Missiles to fly through the air with unmatched accuracy and bore into the undead orcs' bodies.
They entered their cold and sturdy bodies and came out from the other side. With another wave of Adam's hand, the Magic Missiles turned around in mid-air and flew toward the undead orcs once again.
Adam continued to guide his spells over and over again until the undead orcs' cold bodies were riddled with several holes. They fell to the ground, twitching and unable to move.
Despite having their brains destroyed by the Magic Missiles, the two continued to show signs of activity.
To truly kill an undead creature, one had to completely eradicate every inch of them.
However, Adam didn't have time for that. He turned his head towards the sky. That was the direction his wisp of spirit energy had gone in…
Meaning, that was the route Malcolm Morgan had taken to escape!
"Valerian," Adam called out.
A gray light flashed and a little gray cat appeared before the youth. Seeing Adam's solemn expression, Valerian too turned serious. "Brother!"
"Transform," said the raven-haired youth. "We're taking to the skies."
Valerian's lips curled up into a grin, his topaz eyes flickering with excitement. "An Ariel battle, at last!"
With that said, Valerian's body slowly started to transform, growing larger and larger with each moment that passed.
From a chubby gray cat, he had transformed into a towering and majestic black panther. Then, his shoulder blades trembled and enormous, black-feathered wings grew from them!
ROARR!!!
Valerian, now fully transformed into a winged panther, raised his head and roared to the skies in excitement, his eyes blazing with fire.
Adam calmly looked at the towering creature before him. A moment later, he looked Valerian in the eye and asked, "Val, what about your scales? Can you control them?"
"I can try, brother." Valerian nodded, his voice now deep and gruff.
The young dragon closed his eyes, his brows furrowing with each passing second. But gradually, his expression returned to normal, and then…
Gray scales started to emerge from his skin!
They covered every inch of his body except for his black wings. Now, Valerian looked like a gray-scaled panther with black, feathered wings.
His appearance now was similar to his true dragon form, however, no one would suspect him to be a dragon if they saw him as he was now. They would simply assume Valerian belonged to a rare species of armored, flying panthers.
"Nicely done, Val." Adam nodded in approval. Then he leaped onto the young dragon's back and instructed. "Now, soar through the clouds as quick as you can. I will guide you."
"Yes, brother!" Valerian grinned. Then, with a flap of his wing, he took to the sky.
Suddenly, Adam turned towards the city, towards a particular battlefield. His eyes flashed with a ruthless glint and he said to Valerian, "Fly towards the city once. Take a round in the air."
Valerian leaned his body mid-air, flapping his wings and flying towards the city.
Just as the two had taken towards the sky, Nylian Feno arrived on the clifftop. Sensing the intense mana fluctuations in the surroundings, he could tell that a big battle must have taken place there.
His gaze was drawn towards Adam and Valerian and he muttered under his breath, "Where are they going?"
His eyes narrowed. "Could it be… they are pursuing the enemy?"
Nylian walked towards the charred patch of ground and found two humanoid figures whose bodies were riddled with holes. Moreover, their skin was also charred!
Seeing them still twtiching, the elf could tell that these were undead creatures. They hadn't died despite suffering such grieveous injuries. However, they were rendered immobile.
"Adam must have been in a hurry," Nylian muttered under his breath. "It would appear he is truly pursuing the enemy."
He weaved hand seals and then drew his blades, swinging them at the two Rank 3 undead orcs.
Rank 3 Spell: Nylian's Blade Tornado!
In a matter of moments, the two undead creatures were engulfed in the violent tornado of blades before all that remained of them was nothing but blood mist.
He then walked to the edge of the clifftop, looking at the city of Blackshore before him. The battle was almost over.
The Rank 1 and 2 Magi of the Umbra Thieves and the Cult of Bones had all been dealt with.
Daniel Ranzenberg and Wendell Cross had taken their battle outside the city and it appeared that the latter was going to die any moment now.
The battle between Brigham Flynn and Kissinger, however, did not seem to go in Ravenfell's favor. Nylian's eyes narrowed when he noticed that.
His battle was practically over and he had taken care of all enemies on his side. He was certain that Daniel Ranzenberg would also emerge victorious against his opponent as well.
As for Adam… Nylian was most confident in this youth. He believed that Adam would overcome any obstacle that lay before him.
Thus, he wasn't worried about the youth pursuing any remaining enemies from the cult.
So all that remained was helping Brigham in his battle.
Nylian leaped off the cliff and moved towards Brigham and Kissinger's battlefield, aiming to lend him a helping hand.

Meanwhile, Adam sat atop Valerian and flew close to the city skyline. Seeing all the Magi of Ravenfell standing on the ground and looking up at him with excitement and admiration, he raised his staff in the air and screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Brave warriors of Ravenfell," he roared. "Victory is ours!!"
The Magi in the streets of Blackshore felt their blood pumping at Adam's words. They raised their fists and weapons in the air and screamed like there was no tomorrow.
"HOO-AAH!"
"HOO-AAH!"
"HOO-AAH!"
Adam then weaved a complex series of hand seals, canceling the summoning spell that he had kept activated all this while.
One by one, the snakes, after having their fill of flesh and bones, disappeared from the streets of Blackshore, returning to the Coil.
Adam and Valerian then flew over Brigham and Kissinger's battlefield.
Kissinger had an extremely ugly expression on his face, thinking he had to do everythinig he could to escape while there was still some chance.
Brigham Flynn, on the other hand, was ecstatic. He thought Adam had come to lend him a helping hand. Finally, he could conclude this bloody battle!
However…
The Flynn Patriarch's expression suddenly froze when he saw Adam and Valerian fly past their battlefield.
"No…" Brigham roared, "Come back!!"
At that moment, Adam lowered his head and cast a cold glance at the Flynn Patriarch, causing a chill to crawl down the latter's spine.
Adam's lips slowly curled into a cruel and vicious smile as he silently performed a simple hand seal.
The moment Adam completed the hand seal, something inside Brigham seemed to have awakened from deep slumber!
