Guide to raise my cutie husbands-Chapter 1710: How can she be this unlucky! (2)
"Do you think that girl will stay quiet?" Wu Junfen stood up on her feet and she looked down at Yu Mai before saying to him, "Did you understand what you need to do, Mai?"
Yu Mai raised his hand with a determined look on his face, "Mai understand! Mai will do just as Auntie Junfen told him to do."
Wu Junfen’s face shifted before she crouched down and hugged Yu Mai as she took him in her arms. With her face squashed against Yu Mai, she cooed, "You are so cute! So much cuter than your sister! Are you sure that you don’t want to go with Auntie Junfen? I will treat you much better."
"Hey," Yu Dong growled from behind with a scowl on her face. "Stop trying to kidnap my brother all the time."
Wu Junfen turned her gaze upwards and looked at Yu Dong’s scowl before hugging Yu Mai even more tightly. "See that, Mai? Your sister is such a scary woman, are you sure that Auntie Junfen is not a better person to raise you?"
"I will kill you," Yu Dong muttered as she pulled Yu Mai away from Wu Junfen. She hugged her brother and glared at Wu Junfen before saying, "Don’t try anything against him. He is too pure for your teasing."
Yu Dong, who had grown up with Wu Junfen, knew exactly what kind of person she was, when she was only five or six years old, her grandmother had taken her to a graveyard.
She said that it was fun to scare spirits away—it was. For her, for Yu Dong the screams of terror were enough to make her feverish for days.
She couldn’t let the same thing happen to Yu Mai. He was too kind to suffer such a harsh fate.
"You are being too judgemental," Wu Junfen said with a shrug. "I will not do those things to a cutie like Mai…you on the other hand…you were always a pain in the butt, were you not? I still remember you breaking my antique cup collection."
Yu Dong: "…"
"I was five."
"Doesn’t matter, I told you to stay away did I not?"
"What cup?" Yu Mai looked at Wu Junfen and then turned to look at Yu Dong. The two of them looked down at him before shaking their heads.
Yu Dong smiled at him and said, "Nothing, Mai. You do not need to worry about this weird auntie. Just leave her alone she says nothing but nonsense."
"Yeah, of course you will say that after breaking my ten million dollar collection," Wu Junfen snorted and Yu Mai turned to look at her before saying to his sister, "Sister, did you break something precious to Auntie Jufen? You should return what you have broken, it is not nice to hurt someone like this."
"Mai!" Wu Junfen was thrilled upon hearing the words of the little mer. "You are indeed the cutest. I wasn’t wrong to dote on you."
Yu Dong: "…"
Just as Wu Junfen went to hug Yu Mai, she stepped aside and then walked away. While walking to the carriage, she said to Yu Mai, "It is not what you think Mai. I never did such a thing, that woman is lying. She is trying to blackmail into giving her money. Don’t listen to her."
She indeed broke a huge collection of cups but that was in her last life. Why should she pay the money back in her next life? What kind of debt was this?
Not to mention her grandmother had already punished her.
Wu Junfen snorted as she turned to follow Yu Dong.
The three of them climbed up the carriage one by one.
On the other side, Ding Nuan Nuan also woke up. She looked around her surroundings, at first she was surprised but then soon recalled what happened and her expression darkened.
"Nuan Nuan? Oh thank goodness you are awake," Gu Mo heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that his daughter was awake. He was in the room with the rest, because even though Master Xu said that he did not do anything to Ding Nuan Nuan he did not trust him.
Master Xu and the rest did not have any daughters, what if they tried to pull something on his daughter?
He rushed to her side and questioned, "What happened, Nuan Nuan? How did you get injured like this?"
Ding Nuan Nuan didn’t want to answer because it was simply humiliating!
Earlier in the afternoon, she wanted to eat rabbit meat.
Though her aunt was treating her well, and even though most of the meat that was cooked in her house went inside her belly, a bit was still taken away!
Ding Nuan Nuan was not happy. In her eyes, that meat belonged to her as she was the one who made her aunt putty in her hands and the others had no hand in it. So why should she share it?
But Ding Nuan Nuan had been wearing the mask of an obedient child for so long, that she couldn’t just take it off.
So, she had to share the good things with her family.
However, when she saw a young girl carrying away a particularly fat pheasant— Ding Nuan Nuan was tempted. She thought that as long she was to step out of the village’s boundary then she would be able to hunt a rabbit.
After all, she was lucky!
Thus, full of confidence, she had gone to the lower regions of the mountains. Who would have thought that as soon as she stepped out, she would take a tumble, and stab her toe on a large boulder before getting her face smashed in the trunk?
And if that wasn’t bad enough, the bee hive ended up falling on her head!
Ding Nuan Nuan became angry just thinking about it!
How could she be so unlucky!?
She wanted to ask Big Yu but she was not responding and without her answering her questions, there was nothing Ding Nuan Nuan could do.
