After Yasenia alighted from the Starlit Molting Pool, she was welcomed with quite a peculiar sight.

Tatyana was standing in front of her, sword drawn, and her face cold. Moreover, she was wearing her red royal dress, the one that she used when fighting seriously, together with her black tiara with green gemstones.

Above Tatyana, there were the four dragon Ancestors in their dragon forms, bloating out of the sky like four giant Moons.

Yasenia blinked a few times and cleverly flew behind Tatyana. “What happened, Mom?”

Tatyana spoke, her tone cold. “They are regretting giving you benefits.”

That simple sentence already told Yasenia everything she needed to know. A frown appeared on her dragon face as she looked up. “Seniors, I have done nothing wrong. Why are you all acting as such?”

Her gaze, when looking at Ao Xianlan, carried even traces of disappointment and hurt. Seeing those eyes, Ao Xianlan naturally jumped to explain, slightly panicked. “Don’t misunderstand me, child. You know how much I adore you, how would I be willing to stop you from getting what you need?”

Ancestor Long spoke, his tone carrying a trace of anger. “Ancestor Ao, Yasenia Dravory has clearly done something at the bottom of our Starlit Molting Pool. Would you protect her even if what she did made the pool disappear? It is one of our top resources, and losing it would cause immeasurable damage to our future geniuses!”

Yasenia frowned in confusion. “Nothing happened to your pool. What made you jump to such conclusions?”

Ancestor Ji looked at Yasenia, wanting to pressure her, but his aura was blasted into smithereens by Tatyana’s single glance. Even then, he spoke up. “When you were down there, a bright light soared to the sky from the bottom of the pool. Clearly, you’ve done something down below. You'd better speak of it in detail, or you won’t be going anywhere else.”

Yasenia looked at them and finally understood why Ao Xianlan was with the ancestors. ‘She, naturally, has responsibilities.’ That calmed her down a whole lot. She liked Ao Xianlan a lot, so making her an enemy would honestly bother her.

“Ancestors, I really did nothing to the pool,” Yasenia spoke with a solemn tone and added. “I promise, I have not hurt the pool in any way, shape, or form. If anything, I’ve made it better.”

Old Dragon Ao had told her that her scales and such would make a really powerful new treasure once refined, even stronger than the one she took. Therefore, she had not shortchanged the Dragon Clan!

Even when she was greedy, her conscience was clear this time around.

Her words worked. After all, a dragon doesn’t make promises lightly. Therefore, the tense atmosphere that felt as if it was about to explode at any given moment lightened up.

Looking at Yasenia’s expression, Ao Xianlan breathed out a big, audible sigh. She quickly swept down, her body shrinking to become double the size of Yasenia, and then quickly hugged her into her arms. Her eastern dragon body coiled around Yasenia as she rubbed her face with hers. “I knew my little Yasenia would not hurt us. You may be a greedy little girl, but you are far from reckless.”

Yasenia squinted slightly, feeling quite comfortable as Ao Xianlan coiled around her and hugged her. Tatyana looked at Ao Xianlan with a dissatisfied expression, though. “Ao Xianlan…”

“Mom.” Yasenia looked at Tatyana’s sulking expression and smiled gently at her. “Forgive her this time around.”

Ao Xianlan did nothing wrong objectively, but if Tatyana were someone who acted on reason, she wouldn’t be called the Death Empress.

Still, hearing Yasenia’s words, her anger toward Ao Xianlan was greatly pacified. Even then, there was a hint of distrust toward Ao Xianlan that previously didn’t exist.

Her heart was narrow and cold, with only enough space to hold Yasenia and her immediate family.

Seeing Tatyana’s cold red eyes, Ao Xianlan sighed in her heart. She had managed to start to get along with Tatyana, but it seemed that all her efforts had not only been wasted but even pushed further back than when they had first met.

Lady First finally appeared by their side, looking at Yasenia with a frown. “What happened to your body?”

It was only then that Ao Xianlan and Tatyana finally focused on Yasenia’s changes. Once they looked, even Tatyana showed a surprised expression. “Heavens, Little Treasure, how did you strengthen your body to such a ridiculous degree? No, it’s not only your body. Your cultivation has made a terrifying jump.”

Tatyana approached Yasenia and placed her hand on her snout, sending a pulse into Yasenia. Yasenia didn’t resist in the slightest, allowing Tatyana to roam freely around her entire existence.

Lady First and Ao Xianlan cringed. It didn’t matter how many times they saw it, but Yasenia’s complete and utter lack of guard made their hearts jump around.

As they were, Tatyana had to just think, and no one would be able to save Yasenia from certain death. That’s how vulnerable she was now.

Looking at their faces, Tatyana raised her eyebrow. “Yasenia even allows me to touch her reverse scale, what do you expect?”

Ao Xianlan’s eyes widened in stupor. “Impossible! No dragon will allow any creature, not even their birth parents, to touch their reverse scale.”

This was a hard-ingrained reaction in all dragons, like the pulse of the heart for mortals. It didn’t matter how much a mortal practiced to stop their own heart; they couldn’t “learn” that kind of skill.

Tatyana snorted at Ao Xianlan. “Why would I bother lying to you?”

Ao Xianlan smiled wryly. ‘Sigh, I am truly on her bad books now.’

Yasenia didn’t rush toward the next location. She wanted to digest her gains. Therefore, she asked Ao Xianlan to carry them to her cave.

They all left, the other three Dragon Ancestors left completely ignored and clueless. The three of them almost felt a vein pop in their foreheads. However, they couldn’t force anything out. Moreover, Ao Xianlan was clearly not blinded by her personal affection for Yasenia. She had stood firmly on their side when it mattered. So, they felt somewhat consoled.

In the cave, after they were all surrounded by privacy formations, Yasenia spoke about what she encountered. “And so, after my Beast Core exploded in the collision, I regained my Beast Core in the form of the [Primordial Starheart].”

Tatyana’s eyebrow trembled incessantly.

Lady First rubbed her smooth forehead.

Ao Xianlan looked at Yasenia with a scared deer-like gaze.

The maids looked at their Young Miss with stupefied faces.

While Luan Feixue was looking at her with adoration. ‘As expected of Master! Only she can resist death!’

In quite a few ways, our Feixue was not wrong.

Tatyana was the one who spoke up first. “Soluna, come out for a moment.”

With a flash of celestial light, Soluna appeared obediently in front of Tatyana. “Hello, Tatyana!”

“Explain it yourself.”

Soluna nodded and spoke up, not revealing many details, but still revealing some superficial and visual ones.

“...and so, the dust of both shattered treasures combined into one, reinforced by the mysterious energy that the Big Boss suppressed.”

All of their faces became even more complicated.

Tatyana sighed and then flew forward, hugging Yasenia’s humanoid body. “Either way, I am glad you are safe, my reckless Little Treasure.”

‘Really, this girl won’t rest easy without making my heart jump in worry every other decade.’

She didn’t scold Yasenia. After all, without living as she did, always pushing for the smallest advantages, Tatyana knew that she would’ve probably lost her long ago.

Yasenia took risks, but when she did, there was not even a hint of hesitation or even an afterthought that she would fail. Yasenia didn’t only take the bull by its horns, she was even strong enough to flip the beast and pounce back on it!

Yasenia, in her humanoid form, smiled and hugged Tatyana into her soft body. She knew that at these moments, Tatyana would only feel fully comforted after she had almost integrated into her.

So, she leaned back on the couch and used her arms to hug Tatyana as tightly as she could.

Tatyana sighed in comfort, her face buried in Yasenia’s neck as she sniffed her with blurred eyes.

As she patted the head of the cuddly woman, Yasenia looked at Ao Xianlan. “Aunty Xianlan, you didn’t know about Old Dragon Ao?”

Ao Xianlan frowned deeply. “I… don’t know if I know him or not.”

Our dragoness added. “He doesn’t seem to know that the Heavenly Cataclysm has occurred.”

“He doesn’t… know?” The three-meter-tall dragon woman couldn’t stop showing confusion. “I’ll go check, wait for a moment.”

Her body disappeared, probably having gone to dive into the Starlit Molting Pool.

Lady First, meanwhile, was looking at Yasenia up and down with thoughtful eyes. “Your beauty has made another big stride forward. It seems that the molting you mentioned has further increased your aura.”

Luan Feixue blushed a little. “No wonder I felt that Master was prettier. I can feel my heart thumping each time I lock eyes with Master.”

Yasenia blinked her mesmerizing golden slit eyes. “Hm… Well, it is what it is.”

Lady First almost laughed, but she controlled her expression. If she laughed, she was scared that her granddisciple might have a heart attack. Speaking with a hint of amusement in her smooth and pleasant voice, Lady First asked Yasenia. “What are your plans now? Will you stay longer here?”

“Yes. I intend to take my time to reach the very core of each of the four lands. Get whatever there is down there. Give birth, break through, and then leave. That’s my current plan.”

Yasenia would not miss out on this opportunity to rush back to her wives’ side. If she did and they knew about it, they probably would scold her until her ears fell off.

Lady First nodded. “Good. Show me your progress in your charm suppression.”

Yasenia nodded and closed her eyes. Suddenly, she felt a strong sense of control. It was unlike before, when she needed to grit her teeth just to block part of her innate charm.

This time, the girls looking at Yasenia suddenly felt her etherealness puff out. Of course, the woman was physically gorgeous, and her looks were still enrapturing. However, the level was that of an immortal-like mortal woman.

The desire she could provoke was carnal, not spiritual. Without looking at Yasenia directly, no one would know that a beauty was walking amidst them.

Lady First’s calm, charming eyes flashed with pleasant surprise. “Good.”

Simple, direct praise. For someone like Lady First, that was an extremely high level of compliment. Yasenia smiled, returning to her normal state.

The sudden shift made the relaxed women feel their heart rate shoot up. It was as if a plain woman suddenly revealed herself to be a soul-stirring beauty. It really made their hearts jump like excited little deer.

Lady First pondered and nodded. “Alright. You can be considered as passed in Charm Suppression. From now on, we will start practicing charm enhancement.”

The four maids and Feixue lit up a candle in their hearts. ‘Buddha, Heaven, God, or whoever hears my prayers, please guard my pure mind from whatever my master/Young Miss is going to become.’
