Ayana let out a relieved sigh as she scrolled through her finished final year project on her laptop, and checked for any grammatical errors and mistakes.

’I should send this to my supervisor.’ A while after, she immediately acted on her thoughts and send the final drafts of her project with a few polite words as an email.

As soon as she saw the email sent to her supervisor, it was as though the rocks burdening her shoulders had been lifted suddenly. All that was left now was to wait for her supervisor’s remarks, and read for her final exams at the university.

’It hasn’t been easy....’ Ayana turned her neck both sides and a cracking sound was immediately released. Her neck felt lighter now that she has released the tension and her back relaxed on the office leather chair.

Hazel eyes were met with the soft rays of sunlight spilling across the office and casting a warm glow.

The first month of the New year had already ended. Now it was February, and the winter season was showing signs of ending as well. Spring was already preparing its warm arrival.

At the sound of vibration, Ayana slowly reached out to her phone and brought the screen closer to her face.

’What did he send this time?’ Ayana blankly unlocked her phone and tapped on the notification, leading to their chats. Her face strangely had no reaction or whatsoever in regard to her fiancé’s message.

It was also the same as their recent chats. The only messages filling the space were from her fiancé and none from her.

’’Have Sam look into her. This time, check on her family and every possible thing you can find on her.’’ She ordered almost immediately. ’’Also put on her surveillance and monitor her closely, especially her relationships with Arabella and Liam.’’

There must be something that her assistant had missed. Like the relationship with her uncle. For her to have been involved with Liam, that hateful woman must have surely met with uncle in her past life.

’’Yes, ma’am.’’ Although Lisa was very confused and wondered what seemed scary about this actress for her boss to be this focused on her, she still accepted her boss’s orders without questions.
