Help, I'm in Another World and All the Men Are So Hot! [BL]-Chapter 87: Confessions and Dreams
"Feeling calmer now?" Theo asked, pressing a gentle kiss to Damien’s forehead as they finally parted.
Damien felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him.
For what felt like 20 or 30 minutes, Damien had been caught up in the moment, entwining his tongue with Theo’s. Although Theo had seemed surprised at first, he had been patient and kind, keeping his warm smile throughout. Now, Theo still looked at him with that same loving gaze, which only made Damien feel more self-conscious. He could hardly meet Theo’s eyes, he was overwhelmed by the affection in his expression.
How could he have so much composure?
Theo, despite being younger, seemed far more mature in moments like this.
Even though he could be so cute when he wanted to be spoiled, right now Theo was radiating this incredible calm and understanding.
Damien was tempted to just drift back to sleep, wrapped up in the comfort of Theo’s presence.
But then, the memory of something serious hit him, and suddenly his face turned pale. He couldn’t avoid it anymore.
He quickly got out from under the blanket and sat up, turning his head to face Theo, who was watching him with a puzzled expression.
Damien had to confess—to tell Theo about what had happened with Leonide... it might have been cheating.
...
"So... this is what happened with Leonide," Damien confessed, recounting the entire incident in the changing room.
Cheating? Almost cheating? Just a little bit? He wasn’t sure, but whatever it was, he spilled everything, holding nothing back.
Damien found himself bowing deeply in front of Theo.
He had never actually done a full apology bow before, although the thought had crossed his mind a few times in the past. But now, here he was, doing it for real.
He felt too ashamed to look at Theo directly.
"Damien, please raise your head," Theo said softly. There was no anger in his voice.
In fact, there was almost a hint of amusement.
Still, Damien couldn’t bring himself to lift his head. He felt too guilty, too ashamed for letting things go too far, for being swept up by the moment and his own desires.
"Honestly, Damien, you really do love me, don’t you?" Theo added with a soft chuckle.
"Huh?" Damien looked up, completely caught off guard by Theo’s comment.
Of course, he loved Theo more than anything, but hearing it now, in this situation, felt so unexpected.
Theo had gotten out of bed and was now sitting in front of Damien, facing him.
"Why do you look so surprised? You told me the truth because you love me, didn’t you? Because you didn’t want me to hate you, and you wanted me to forgive you?" Theo said, his voice kind and reassuring.
Is that really why? Damien wondered.
"Didn’t you realize it yourself? You’re the type who, if you ever really fell for someone else and didn’t care about me anymore, would feel so guilty you’d disappear completely," Theo continued with a knowing look.
That couldn’t be right... could it?
But then again, even now, Damien could barely handle the thought of facing Theo. If he ever did fall for someone else, he might just disappear entirely, leaving Theo behind.
"And besides, what happened this time was so innocent and cute, I can’t even call it cheating. At most, it was a playful little naughty moment. Honestly, I thought you had done something far worse," Theo added with a teasing smile.
W-wait, Damien thought. To him, what had happened with Leonide felt like a big deal.
But Theo didn’t seem troubled at all. He looked so relaxed, like it was nothing serious at all.
Wow, nobles really are on a different level, Damien thought to himself, still processing Theo’s calm reaction.
"Wait... does that mean you’ve also...?" Damien asked hesitantly.
Was it possible that Theo had done something like this before? Something that was also ’no big deal’?
"Oh no, I wouldn’t do something like that with someone I don’t have feelings for," Theo replied, his voice calm.
Hearing that, Damien felt a bit of relief wash over him. But at the same time, a wave of guilt followed. Here he was, after what had happened with Leonide, feeling relieved that Theo wouldn’t do the same thing.
"Don’t make that face, Damien," Theo said softly. "I’m actually happy you care enough to be jealous."
Theo leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on Damien’s forehead.
"And besides, you acted that way with Leonide because you like him, right? If you didn’t like him but still did something like that... well... I’d find that quite exciting in its own way," Theo added with a teasing grin.
Damien chose to ignore the second part of that statement.
Did he like Leonide? If he were to think about it, the answer was pretty clear. He couldn’t deny it. Leonide was cute, earnest, and strong, and Damien had indeed developed feelings for him. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"Yeah... I think I do like Leonide," Damien admitted. "It might sound strange since we haven’t known each other for long..."
"That’s true. You didn’t know me for long when you fell for me either, did you? Damien, you’re a bit quick to fall in love, aren’t you?" Theo teased, though his words stung a little.
Damien thought of himself as someone loyal, someone devoted. But maybe he was a bit too quick to develop feelings.
"Well, maybe it’s just something you can’t help for now..." Theo said, as if reading Damien’s thoughts.
"Huh?"
"I’ve told you before, Damien. As long as you still love me, I won’t be angry if you... stray. So don’t worry."
Theo smiled warmly, and there was no trace of jealousy in his expression. Not even a hint of the misty aura Damien had come to recognize when Theo was upset. Still, the fact that Theo had to say something like that made Damien feel even more guilty.
"Of course! I love you, Theo! You’re the one I—" Damien began to say, but Theo silenced him with a kiss before he could finish.
