Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 397: Clouds Don’t Usually Have Engines
Garion clapped his hands once, drawing everyone’s attention.
"Alright. You all heard me," he said. "Start preparing your things. We’re moving."
The disciples blinked, then nodded almost at the same time.
They quickly split up, heading back to their rooms to pack.
Dahlia stretched her arms. "Guess it’s a temporary move," she said. "Don’t unpack too neatly, everyone."
Clara laughed. "Too late. I already like dramatic relocations."
Rachel gave Garion a small nod before turning to leave as well. "I’ll make sure everyone is ready."
Garion stopped her for a moment. "Rachel."
She turned back. "Yes?"
"Keep an eye on Velion," he said quietly. "He’s a demon. Not dangerous, but... still sensitive."
Rachel smiled warmly. "Don’t worry, Garion. I’ll take care of him like the others."
Garion nodded, relieved, and watched her walk away.
Once the area cleared, he turned slightly and spoke out loud. "Atlas."
[Here.]
"Alright," Garion said. "Which islands are closest to Demon Gate Island?"
[The nearest ones still require roughly one day of flight. There are six islands in total.]
A screen appeared, showing the surrounding sea and land.
[They include Nature God Island, Flame God Island, and Thunder God Island... the ones you previously assigned to the Avenora and Revalis clans.]
[The remaining three islands have not yet been modified.]
Garion crossed his arms, studying the map. "So... can I turn the remaining three into proper god islands too?" 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
[You can.]
Atlas paused.
[But it will take a long time.]
Garion clicked his tongue. "Damn. Are there any [Origins] on those islands? I could speed things up if there were."
[Negative.]
[Those islands have no detectable origins.]
Garion let out a slow breath. "Figures."
He tapped the screen once, then nodded. "Alright then. For now, we’ll move everyone to Nature God Island first."
[Understood.]
Garion straightened his posture. "Temporary move first. Then... I’ll rebuild this place properly."
---
The disciples gathered at the edge of the platform, lined up one by one.
Each of them wore a simple ring on their finger.
Garion looked at them and said, "You all got your spatial rings already, right?"
Dahlia lifted her hand and waved it lightly. "Got it. Everything I own is in here. Kind of scary how empty my room feels now."
Clara spun her ring once. "I tried stuffing extra clothes inside just to see if it would explode. It didn’t. A little disappointing."
Rynor snorted. "Why would you even test that?"
Arden adjusted his sleeve and nodded. "It’s... very convenient. I double-checked everything three times."
Eliza silently raised her hand to show the ring, then gave a small nod.
Garion glanced around the group. "Good. Don’t lose them. If you do, the maker will haunt you."
[I will judge silently.]
Several disciples stiffened.
Dahlia grinned. "See? Worse."
Garion turned serious again and looked at everyone. "Alright. Are you all ready?"
This time, the nods were firm.
Rachel stepped forward. "Everyone is accounted for. Even Velion is ready."
Velion stood a little to the side, holding his ring carefully. "I’ve packed... very lightly."
"That’s fine," Garion said. "You can get more later."
The flying ships hovered nearby, their decks lowered for boarding.
One by one, the disciples stepped onto the ships.
Some looked back at the familiar buildings of the God Gym, others chatted quietly, trying to hide their excitement.
Dahlia crossed her arms as she walked up the ramp. "So this is a temporary goodbye, huh?"
Garion followed behind them. "Temporary. Don’t get sentimental."
Valtor laughed. "Too late."
Once everyone was aboard, Garion took the lead ship as well. He leaned against the railing, eyes forward.
"I’ll explain everything to Raviel and Aveline on the way," he said calmly. "When we arrive, we’ll settle in, then start training like usual."
The ships slowly lifted off the ground and went straight toward the Nature God Island.
---
The next day, on Nature God Island, the morning was calm.
Rendric stood near the training terraces, sleeves rolled up, checking the progress of several newly planted spirit trees.
Beside him, his wife was busy giving instructions to a group of younger clan members, her tone firm but relaxed.
Even though Raviel and Aveline were the clan’s patriarch and matriarch, most of the daily work still fell to the two of them, as it always had.
"Move that one a little to the left," she said, pointing. "If the roots overlap, it’ll weaken both trees."
Rendric nodded in approval. "Good. Don’t rush. Nature cultivation rewards patience."
Everything felt normal.
Then the light shifted.
Rendric paused mid-step.
His brow furrowed slightly as a shadow passed over the ground.
He lifted his head, squinting toward the sky.
"...That’s strange."
His wife followed his gaze. At first, she thought it was a cloud. Then another appeared. And another.
Those weren’t clouds.
They were flying ships.
"Why are there so many?" she muttered.
As the ships descended lower, the markings became clear.
"...God Gym," Rendric said slowly.
Her eyes widened. "All of them?"
The younger clan members stopped what they were doing, pointing upward and whispering among themselves.
"Did something happen?"
"Is there a problem?"
Rendric straightened his back. Instead of alarm, a faint smile appeared on his face.
"So they’ve finally come," he said calmly.
His wife glanced at him. "You don’t look worried."
"I’m not," Rendric replied. "If this were bad news, Garion wouldn’t arrive like this."
The ships slowed and began to descend in an orderly formation, lining up above the open grounds near the central area of the island.
The sight was impressive, almost overwhelming, but there was no pressure, no hostility. Just presence.
Rendric let out a small breath and brushed the dirt from his hands.
"Alright," he said, already walking forward. "No point keeping them waiting."
His wife fell into step beside him. "You think this is about territory? Or training?"
Rendric chuckled softly. "Knowing Garion? Probably both. Or something even bigger."
As they moved to greet the incoming ships, the confusion remained but beneath it was clear excitement.
Whatever this was, it wasn’t trouble.
