Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 459: Demons Met Their Hard Counter
The Solar Sentinels rushed perfectly in sync toward the enemies
One of the demonic guards pointed at them and growled. "Kill them all!"
At the same time, the solar sentinels raised their hands and used their skills.
[Solar Lance]
Solar energy began to gather on their hands, forming a long lance.
They took the lance and pointed it to the enemies and shouted. "Advance!"
They rushed at the same time. One of them stepped in and thrust his lance forward.
The solar lance pierced straight through a demonic guard, quickly stiffening him. "AARRGGGHH!"
The demonic guard collapsed instantly. The solar lance easily burned his power and killed him instantly.
Another sentinel also did the same, and any demonic guard they struck will die in a single hit.
The beasts were also the same. When they were struck by the solar lance...
They let out a painful cry before collapsing, dying from the potent solar energy.
Unfortunately, the demonic guards didn’t really have clear minds, so even when they saw their friends getting killed...
They didn’t care and just rushed toward the sentinels. "Attack! Avenge our brethren!"
Several demonic guards rushed toward the sentinels, and thanks to their numbers, some of them managed to hit the sentinels.
But to their surprise... CLANG!
Their swords landed on them, but from what they saw, the sentinels did not seem to be in pain or anything.
They didn’t even flinch when they saw their swords’ slashes.
One demonic guard stared at them in disbelief. "How can it be? Why isn’t our attack working on you?!"
A sentinel looked at the sword on his body, took it, and broke it with his hands.
He looked at the attacker and mercilessly said. "We are Solar Sentinels from the Solmira Clan."
He pointed at them. "We are the demon exterminators, so how can a measly demon attack work on us?"
He pulled back his solar lance and shouted. "Now die, you disgusting demons!"
He threw the solar lance toward the demonic guard, and the moment the lance hit him...
THUD!
The demonic guard instantly dropped to the ground, lifeless.
Nearby demonic guards finally had a bit of a clear mind after seeing it. "...No."
Another one shook their head and stepped back in fear. How can this be? We have become stronger, but how can many of us still die?!"
The demonic guards had become stronger thanks to the demonic opiate, but no matter how deranged their minds were...
The moment they saw many of them die in the hands of Solmira, they knew that the enemies were too strong.
And their human instinct, fear, directly appeared on them. "We can’t win this! Run!"
Several demonic guards quickly turned around and ran away.
The giant lizards roared in confusion as their riders abandoned control.
Some beasts ran wildly; others crashed into each other.
They didn’t care about the dragon dens anymore. What they wanted was to save their lives.
From the Solmira side, the solar sentinels slowed down and were slightly confused.
One of them frowned. "They are running?"
Another tiled his head. "I thought demons don’t feel fear." 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
A third smirked. "Maybe it’s because we are too strong."
A few of them nodded, agreeing with him.
Soren, who had been watching quickly, spoke. "That’s not the reason."
He stepped forward slowly, looking at the feeling nemesis. "They are not yet true demon cultivators. They just recently changed their cultivation paths.
His gaze sharpened slightly. "Their human instincts are still there and can easily reappear no matter how deranged they are."
He pointed at one of them who looked so terrified. "Looked at him. After seeing all of his friends were killed... their basic instincts, such as fear, will appear just like this."
The sentinels quickly nodded, understanding what Sorien meant. "So now what will we do? Do we chase after them?"
He turned to them and pointed at the dragon dens. "Don’t waste time chasing them; just secure the area and take all the dragons. That’s the reason we are here."
The sentinels straightened and bowed down a bit. "Understood, sir."
Without wasting another second, they turned and moved toward the dragon dens.
The large gates of the dragon enclosure stood ahead of them, but fortunately they were already damaged from the earlier chaos.
The sentience easily opened the gates and moved inside. The moment they netted, they quickly heard a low growl.
Grrrr...
Low growls echoed from the dragons inside, but to their surprise, the dragons didn’t attack them.
They just looked at them and bowed their heads down a bit.
The sentinels looked at each other in confusion. "Don’t tell me... did they surrender to us? Just like that?!"
Sorien walked toward the dragons and looked at the outside field beyond the enclosure.
He quickly understood what was happening to the dragons, the reason why they surrendered to them.
He turned around and smirked. "Don’t worry too much; just bring them."
The sentinels asked. "But why did they give up so easily, sir? It’s just... we are wary of them."
Sorien looked at them and smiled. "Don’t worry too much about that. They won’t harm you at all."
He turned around to the dragon and put his hand out. The dragon rubbed its head on Sorein’s hands, surprising them all.
Sorien quickly explained it to them. "They already saw just how strong we are after we defeated the demonic guards."
He rubbed the dragon head back and smiled. "And also these dragons were raised not wild, so they don’t have that ’Dragon Pride’ thingy."
The sentinels quickly understood what Sorien meant, so they quickly sighed in relief. "That was easier than expected."
Sorien nodded. "Yeah, it’s easier, but remember, don’t hurt them, or they will be hurting you. No matter what, they are still dragons.
He turned back to them. "Let’s take all of the dragons and return. The first phase is finished."
The sentinels stood straight again and nodded. "Yes, sir. We will be careful."
