Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 460: This Feels Like A Trap
The Drakenfel warriors stood among the defeated demonic guards that lay around after being defeated by them.
One of them leaned on his weapon and smiled weakly. "We... finally beat them."
Another wiped blood from his body. "Yeah... but it wasn’t easy as before."
Then the captain of each group looked at their own teams and shouted. "Stay alert; we are still in the enemy territory."
All of them nodded and began to group up again, staying alert.
But before they could... a chilling voice echoed from above them. "Hehe... how smart of you to stay alert!"
The Drakenfel warriors froze as they turned their heads at the same time toward the same direction.
One of the Drakenfel elders, Mailen, stepped forward and shouted. "Who are you?! Stop hiding and come out!"
There was only silence for a moment, and then... a figure slowly stepped out from the shadows.
He wore black clothes that covered all of his body except his eyes, and beside him...
There was a huge black tiger. Not only was it big, but the aura from this tiger was so strong, scaring some of them.
The mysterious man stopped a few steps away. He looked at them and smirked. "Nice to meet you... Drakenfel warriors."
He bowed down a bit and introduced himself. "I am one of the Chimera Commanders of the Black Chimeras; nice to meet you all."
All of them fell silent, confused as to how the enemy could appear like this.
Meanwhile, Mailen, who was in the front, just laughed. "So you’re a Chimera commander, huh?"
He stepped forward, gripping his weapon tighter. "You know us and came here alone."
His face turned serious. "Are you kidding me? Are you underestimating all of us?"
The other warriors who heard what Mailen said directly turned serious too, and some of them were even angry.
"How bold of him to underestimate us."
"He must be a foolish one."
Mailen didn’t speak again, but his stance shifted slightly forward, signifying that he was ready.
The mysterious man only chuckled and let out a low sound. "Who said I was alone?"
He placed his hand casually on the massive black tiger beside him. "This one is here to accompany me."
The tiger’s eyes glowed faintly as he let out a roar that made some of them pause for just a second.
But some of them who were not affected just snorted. "It’s just a beast. What can it do?"
Another one nodded and released his aura. "No matter what it is... now that you’re here... we won’t let you leave."
Several others stepped forward and took out their weapons, forming their formation.
The man looked at them and smirked. "Oooh... don’t worry too much about that."
His eyes sharpened. "I won’t leave, and neither will you all. I’ll make sure of that."
Maieln burst out laughing. "Hahaha! What a really big mouth you have!"
He slammed the butt of his spear against the ground, and his gaze turned cold. "I’ll make you pay for underestimating me."
He raised his hand and pointed at him. "Men...surround him. Don’t let him run away."
At once, all Drakenfel warriors moved, spreading out in a wide circle, cutting off every direction of the man.
The man and black tiger were now completely surrounded, but he wasn’t worried at all.
One warrior smirked and snorted. "Now where are you going to run, huh?"
The man looked at him and smiled. He simply looked around at the statue and then back at his tiger. "Do it."
Dark energy burst outward from both of them. The tiger roared as he jumped toward the man, and in an instant...
Both of their forms seemed to blur and merge together, forming one entity.
Slowly the blur began to fade, and in its place... a towering figure appeared.
It was a humanoid tiger with a big frame, black fur, and sharp teeth and claws.
Mailen narrowed his eyes upon seeing the fusion. "So... this is the chimera fusion of the black chimeras, huh?"
He glanced back at his men. He found that some of them were scared, but he quickly shouted at them to calm them down.
"Don’t be afraid! It’s just a fusion, and also he was alone; we still outnumber him."
Several warriors nodded.
"Yeah!"
"Take him down together!"
Their confidence rose again, but the tiger man only looked at them and sighed.
No matter what, it didn’t matter to him whether their confidence was high or low. He would still beat them in the end.
He flexed his claws right in front of them and smirked. "You’ll pay for that... dear Drakenfel, for underestimating me."
Mailen stared at the tiger man. "Don’t worry... we won’t be disrespecting you anymore, so..."
He turned to his men and raised his hand. They immediately understood what he meant.
Mailen stared at the man. "We will use our strongest formation. Activate [Dragon Convergence Formation]."
At once, the warriors changed their position a bit and directly unleashed their mana.
The unleashed mana began to fuse with the mana from other warriors from the same group.
They were focusing until the lump of mana began to change form.
At first a head of a dragon appeared, then a long neck, a body, wings, claws, etc., until a giant dragon projection appeared in the sky.
The tiger man only watched and didn’t interrupt. He wants this battle to be more interesting. "Good, this is what I want." 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Mailen lifted his head and pointed forward. "Don’t hold back. Use [Dragon Breath]."
The Drakenfel warriors tightened their stances, and soon the massive dragon projection above them opened its mouth.
Energy gathered rapidly inside, making the ground underneath begin to crack.
Mailen’s eyes locked onto the target and he shouted. "Release!"
The dragon unleashed its breath, which was a massive beam of condensed energy toward the tiger man.
The tiger man didn’t dodge; instead, he stepped forward and crossed his arms.
CRASH!
The beam hit him directly, crushing the area around him, but to their surprise...
Although the tiger man was greatly injured, he wasn’t dead, but instead he smiled wide. "Good... really good."
He rolled his shoulder and cracked his neck, looking up at them with a grin. "Let’s make this very interesting, shall we?"
