Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem-Chapter 185: Demons Don’t Beg
Chapter 185: Demons Don’t Beg
The boss let out a roar and swung his massive arm.
The [Blood Drinker Veins] lashed at both girls with brutal force.
Blue Demon ducked low but still felt the sting of the whip-like tendrils across her shoulder.
It tore through her clothes and drew blood.
Yellow Demon tried to block with her swords.
But one tendril wrapped around her wrist and pulled her off balance.
The boss yanked hard, sending her crashing into the wall.
"Pathetic," he said, voice echoing with arrogance.
"You think you can stand against me?"
Blue Demon gritted her teeth, pain racing through her.
"Bastard," she hissed, raising her head.
The boss laughed, stepping forward.
"Look at you, broken and bleeding. You’ll make a fine toy when I’m done."
Yellow Demon coughed, her vision blurry.
"You... talk too much," she managed, voice low.
The boss swung his arm, the [Blood Drinker Veins] slashing out again.
Blue Demon tried to dodge but was caught across the side, the blow sending her spinning.
She hit the ground, gasping.
Yellow Demon tried to push herself up, but the boss loomed over her, his grin wide.
"You’re finished," he said. "Beg for mercy."
Suddenly, Blue Demon’s head snapped up, her eyes glowing with a dangerous light.
The [Heavenly Demon Ether] coursed through her, faster and more savage than before.
Yellow Demon’s body trembled as the same dark energy poured through her veins.
Her head tilted back, and she let out a sharp laugh.
The boss frowned.
"What the hell is this?" he barked.
Blue Demon’s grin widened, her teeth sharp.
"You wanted a fight. Now you’ve got one."
Yellow Demon pushed herself off the ground, her twin swords crackling with [Heavenly Demon Ether].
"You’ll be the first to die to our real power."
The boss swung his [Blood Drinker Veins], but Blue Demon caught them in her hands.
The dark energy around her sizzled as it corroded the tendrils.
She yanked hard, pulling the boss off balance.
Yellow Demon dashed in, her swords slashing in a blur.
She carved through the boss’s [Bone Spike Wall] like paper, her laughter rising higher.
"You... you monsters!" the boss shouted, panic creeping into his eyes.
Blue Demon’s laughter turned cold.
"We’re not monsters. We’re the Demons."
Yellow Demon’s voice was twisted with glee.
"Look at you. Scared now? After all your talk?"
The boss swung wildly, activating [Soul Flare Burst] to push them back.
The burst of dark energy hit them, but they stood firm, their demonic power absorbing the blow.
Blue Demon rushed forward, her fist glowing with corrosive [Heavenly Demon Ether].
She punched the boss in the chest, her energy burning through his armor.
The boss screamed, his body smoking."No—this can’t—"
Yellow Demon lunged, her swords crossing in front of her.
She drove them into his chest, her [Heavenly Demon Ether] sizzling.
"This is your end," she spat.
The boss’s eyes went wide as he collapsed to his knees, his strength gone.
"You... demons..." he whispered.
Blue Demon and Yellow Demon laughed together, their voices echoing like madness.
"You’re right," Blue Demon said, her voice a twisted snarl.
"And now you’re just a memory."
They stepped back, the boss’s body falling forward, lifeless.
Blue Demon and Yellow Demon stood there, breathing heavily.
But then their bodies trembled.
Blue Demon’s eyes lost focus. She clutched at her chest.
"I... I can’t... hold it..."
Yellow Demon’s swords slipped from her hands, clattering to the ground.
Her knees buckled.
"It’s... too much..."
Their bodies shook with leftover [Heavenly Demon Ether], the strain too much even for them.
In a single, ragged breath, both girls collapsed, hitting the ground hard.
A few moments later, the slave girls rushed into the boss’s room.
They gasped at the sight before them.
One girl, her face pale, stepped forward.
"Blue Demon? Yellow Demon?"
Another girl knelt beside Blue Demon and pressed her fingers to her neck.
"She’s alive," she said, relief in her voice.
A third girl moved quickly to Yellow Demon.
"She’s breathing too. But they’re both out cold."
The leader of the group clenched her fist.
"Go! Go! Wrap the corpses and clean up the room."
"We can’t leave this mess."
Two of the girls grabbed a heavy tarp from their packs and began wrapping the boss’s lifeless body.
Another girl started wiping the bloodstains from the ground with practiced precision.
"Get the weapons too," the leader said.
"We can’t leave anything that ties back to us."
One girl nodded, collecting the dropped swords and tucking them into a makeshift sling.
The leader turned to the others.
"Help me with them," she said, pointing at Blue Demon and Yellow Demon.
Two girls carefully lifted Blue Demon, one holding her legs, the other supporting her head and shoulders.
She moaned weakly, but her eyes didn’t open.
Another pair of girls did the same with Yellow Demon.
Her head lolled to the side, her breathing ragged.
One of the girls glanced at the leader.
"Will they be okay?"
The leader’s eyes were hard.
"They will be. But they need the Master’s help."
"We have to get them back to the sect. Move."
Together, the group carried Blue Demon and Yellow Demon out of the boss room.
They didn’t stop until they reached the main sect base.
As they laid the girls down on padded mats, Blue Demon’s eyes snapped open.
She gasped, her body tense.
"Where... where am I?"
Yellow Demon groaned, clutching her head.
"My head feels like it’s on fire."
The leader of the slave girls leaned down, her face relieved.
"You’re safe now. We brought you back to the sect."
Blue Demon tried to sit up, wincing as the pain shot through her.
"Damn... We really overdid it," she said, rubbing her neck.
Yellow Demon looked at her hands, flexing them slowly.
"It’s like a blur. One minute we were fighting... then nothing."
Suddenly, Red Demon appeared at the entrance, her eyes glinting with amusement.
"Look at you two," she scoffed. "Pathetic."
Blue Demon glared at her.
"What’s that supposed to mean?"
Red Demon crossed her arms, smirking.
"You two actually passed out. In the middle of a fight."
"And here I thought that both of you were supposed to be tough."
Yellow Demon clenched her fists, her face red.
"We handled it. The boss is dead."
Red Demon snorted.
"Yeah, then afterward you fainted like delicate little flowers."
"Next time, try not to embarrass us."
Blue Demon’s eyes burned.
"Next time, we’ll make sure you’re there to see how real demons fight."
Red Demon smirked.
"I’ll hold you to that."
