Humanity.exe-Chapter 52: The Armory (1)

It didn’t take long for me to head downstairs since there wasn’t much for me to do to get ready anyway. Just fixed my clothes a bit and made my way down there.

Upon entering the room I could see a bunch of stuff scattered about with some of the members helping set it up. This is what it’s like to have a bunch of people at your disposal.

Rezex was standing over on the side though, him and Reika seem to be talking. Probably about the potential weapons cache he found from this whole thing.

So I wasted no time walking over to them to see what was going on.

"Just the guy I was waiting for. I figured we could get a small team together and check it out." Rezex said while showing me the location.

Looking at the location of the cache, it wasn’t very far from us and it definitely could be abandoned.

"Yeah, let’s do it." I replied without any hesitation.

I let Rezex handle the team assembly since it would make it a bit easier. I’ve been delegating quite a bit instead of handling stuff as a boss but it’s fine.

It only took a few minutes but he managed to get a team together with a vehicle capable of loading all the weapons.

"Time to check out this armory." Rezex said with some excitement.

"Let’s get to it." I agreed.

After everyone got into the truck, we made our way to the potential weapons cache. It really was in a nice spot with hardly anyone around to say much. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

The building was definitely old and beyond abandoned by whoever last stayed here. You could tell by the amount of damage to the outside and even some of the windows.

"It shouldn’t be hard to find the cache. Even if they tried to hide it, just use your brains." Rezex instructed as everyone got out the truck.

Being a boss isn’t always for everyone but I still believe it is better for me to be in charge. I just don’t always give the orders.

Rezex and Reika have some experience with things that I don’t have any with so it makes it easier to have them help. It won’t always be this way of course but sometimes that is just how it goes.

"Shall we head inside?" Rezex asked with a bit of a casual tone.

"Of course." I answered.

I followed behind him as we entered the old building, it was definitely quite a messy place to be searching for some weapons. But this was definitely the right place according to the coordinates on the GPS.

It was also nice to see how hard the other members are willing to work to prove their worth to Kuroten.

"Rezex I think I found something!" One of the members shouted from across the room.

"We’re coming!" Rezex shouted back.

After heading over to the member who found something we were met with a nice big door. This was definitely the armory we were looking for so this is going to be nice.

I’m sure Rezex will have to use his skills to get this door open since I don’t really have much hacking knowledge in me. I can figure out some stuff but I’m not the best option for it.

Reika or Rezex are my main go to when it comes down to this type of stuff.

I’ll be more than happy to handle the other issues like killing some assholes who cause problems or talking with some gang bosses. That is more up my alley than hacking, so this is fine by me.

"I’ll handle the door. Watch out." Rezex said while looking at the member.

"You got it." He replied before moving out of the way.

Rezex immediately pulled off a panel next to the door in front of us and started working on some sort of digital keyboard. It was obvious by how he was tapping on the air out of nowhere.

After a moment or two pass, the door starts to slowly open in front of us.

"Didn’t think it would be hard to open. I’m honestly shocked someone else didn’t find this before me." Rezex said with a bit of a surprised tone.

"Consider us lucky." I responded while looking at the opening of the armory.

The door finally opened all the way and I could see all of the weapons that were stacked on the walls. Guns as far as the eye could see, ammo boxes on the floors along the walls, and all sorts of special modifications on each gun.

Truly this was an armory that any gang would hope to have in their lifetime. It only made me wonder who’s armory this used to be and how they could just abandon it.

"We need everyone over here. Start loading all these guns up into the truck!" Rezex shouted with excitement.

I can feel some excitement myself since this is a huge win for us. Finding guns like this, especially this close is huge. It is like it was just handed to us directly.

Nobody is ever that lucky to get such a close find like this.

I’m sure we’ll have some hell to pay down the road but this will help us fight off that hell. I look forward to seeing all of my members equipped with the best weapons we can find.

This will definitely help us make a slow rise above the other gangs around us, one that they wouldn’t expect. Next up will be making sure our armory is properly secured and that everyone is prepared for any attacks.

I don’t want us to lose our headquarters like Karma did which is why I’m going to keep building up Kuroten.

We’ll build it up enough to have multiple buildings and so many members that the other gangs won’t stand a chance. Obviously I’ll handle some business on my own still since I’m not a bitch who will hide from everyone.
