Chapter 513: Chapter 513 Parents meeting (7)

For a moment, as she finished speaking, Alina felt her mind go strangely blank, like all the careful preparation she had done had scattered somewhere behind the calm smile on her face.

She swallowed softly, grounding herself, and let instinct take over the way it always did when she was with the babies.

"Alright," she said gently, her voice steadier than she felt inside. "I will first give the papers the children have written this term."

She picked up the organized stacks from the table, already separated carefully by name, and began walking from one family to another. The soft rustle of paper filled the quiet room as she handed each set personally, not just placing them down, but offering them with both hands, respectful and professional.

"These include their science papers, math sheets, and language work," she explained calmly. "Some of them also have little notes added for improvement or praise."

She moved first toward Luna’s parents, slowing her steps slightly, giving them time to look properly before she spoke again. Alpha Ryker was already studying the papers carefully, his sharp eyes moving line by line, while Queen Serafina held the language sheet delicately, her elegant fingers smoothing the edge as if it were something precious rather than just schoolwork.

Alpha Ryker’s eyes suddenly flashed with unmistakable pride. Even though Luna’s handwriting curved unevenly in places, there were many correct answers, neat corrections, and small improvement notes written in Alina’s gentle handwriting.

An uncontrollable smile slowly appeared on his face, something emotional and deeply fatherly.

"My little pup is so smart," Alpha Ryker said proudly, his deep voice warm in a way that surprised even himself.

Luna immediately stiffened beside him, ears twitching slightly in embarrassment, her small hands gripping her skirt.

Queen Serafina let out a soft, musical laugh. "She practiced writing three times last night," she revealed, glancing lovingly at her daughter. "She said she wanted Teacher to see her best work."

Luna made a tiny protesting sound. "Mom..."

Alina felt her chest warm at that.

"Yes, she is very smart," Alina said softly, crouching slightly so she was closer to Luna’s level instead of towering over her. "She learns very fast. She also actively participates in any activity the class holds. She enjoys competition very much, and she is very fast. Once she starts running, it becomes very hard to catch her."

She gently patted Luna’s head, careful not to disturb the perfectly styled hair Serafina had probably spent time on.

Luna’s ears lowered slightly, and she looked away, clearly shy but secretly happy, her tiny tail swishing once behind her chair.

Alpha Ryker glanced at Luna again, his expression softening further. "Speed is important," he said seriously, though pride still colored his tone. "But discipline is more important."

Queen Serafina elbowed him lightly. "She is just a baby."

"She is a future pack leader," he replied automatically, then paused, looking at Luna’s small hands holding the paper.

His voice lowered. "But... she can also be a child."

Alina caught that shift and gave him a small, understanding smile.

"In science," Alina continued gently, pointing to the sheet, "Luna is very observant. She remembers all plant part names, and I have noticed she is very interested in plants and forest topics."

Serafina’s eyes lit up. "She always watches the garden with me."

Luna muttered quietly, "Because plants don’t talk nonsense."

Alpha Ryker choked slightly, trying not to laugh. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Alina hid her smile behind her fingers for a second before continuing professionally. "In math, she is strong in problem solving. She sometimes rushes because she wants to finish first. That is where she makes mistakes, but when she slows down, her accuracy is very high."

Alpha Ryker nodded firmly. "She will slow down."

Luna immediately looked alarmed. "I will not slow down. I will just be fast and correct."

Serafina laughed softly. "That is also acceptable."

Alina chuckled quietly. "That is what we are working toward. Fast and correct."

Then she tapped the language paper gently.

"In language, she has strong vocabulary for her age. She expresses thoughts clearly. Sometimes she writes exactly how she speaks, which is actually very good at this stage."

Serafina smiled proudly. "She likes storytelling."

Luna tried to act uninterested, but her eyes sparkled just a little.

Alina lowered her voice slightly, more personal now. "She is also very protective of classmates. If someone is sad, she notices first."

Alpha Ryker’s jaw tightened slightly, pride mixing with something emotional and ancient.

"Good," he said quietly. "Very good."

Luna looked down, pretending to focus on a tiny pencil dot on her paper.

Alina gave her head one last gentle pat. "She is doing very well. You do not need to worry."

Serafina reached out and squeezed Alina’s hand briefly. "Thank you for seeing her properly."

The words were simple, but heavy with meaning.

Alina smiled softly. "She makes it very easy."

Luna coughed dramatically. "Can we stop talking about me now?"

Alpha Ryker leaned down slightly. "No."

Luna groaned, hiding her face behind the science paper while Alina, Serafina, and Alpha Ryker laughed at this.

Next, Alina moved toward Rocky’s table, her steps naturally slowing, her presence softening the closer she got, as if she did not want to add even a grain of pressure to the small boy sitting between two figures who looked like they could command mountains to move if they wished. Rocky was sitting very straight, hands folded in his lap, watching his mom and dad read through his papers with wide, nervous eyes, his shoulders slightly hunched like he was bracing himself for judgment even though no harsh word had been spoken.

Alina noticed it immediately.

"He did great," Alina said gently, her voice warm and steady, giving the words first before the parents even finished scanning the pages, as if she wanted Rocky to hear it before his imagination could create worries.

Boulder King slowly put the papers down on the table, the heavy stone rings on his fingers making a soft, grounded sound against the wood.

"Yes," he said in his deep, rumbling voice, a slow proud smile spreading across his usually stoic face. "My little Rocky did great."
