Many cheered. Many mourned for the few people lost. All proclaimed they had seen the goddess' light. Some had even seen her floating there with shimmering white wings. They said that she easily vanquished an army. They said that she'd descended to heal the Harbor Bay City. Her praises were being sung across the city.

To Hikari, none of it concerned her. The people talking about it in the inn must've been talking about a different person. However, the little girl sitting next to her beamed.

"I wish I could've seen it!" Nona exclaimed.

Hikari felt heat rushing to her face. She wanted to hide. It would be embarrassing if the kid let the whole city know that she was the one who felled that undead army.

"Shh," Hikari said, "don't be too loud. Remember! This is our little secret."

From the other side, Kai voiced his dissent. "Why would you not want people to know? If I killed an army, I'd want the whole world to know! It's like a real hero story!"

Hikari shook her head. "Trust me, it's not worth it. Imagine if everywhere I go people flock to me. Imagine that I couldn't even sit down at a table to eat food like a regular person."

Kai frowned. "But you're not a regular person. You're a goddess, and you don't even need to eat."

"Who told you that?"

Nona pointed at the pink-haired goddess on the other side of the table who was desperately trying not to laugh. "She mentioned it to us."

Amelia sighed. "What happened to us not sharing each others secrets? Besides, I understand where Hikari is coming from."

"You do? You know those people in Amalin constructed statues of you. They built whole temples dedicated to you, and they're practically a religious state at this point."

The goddess in question blushed. "They did that on their own! But I guess all of their faith doesn't hurt. It helps to increase my standing as a goddess."

"Yeah," Hikari said, "I am pretty sure that queen would cream herself if she saw you descend."

Amelia's face somehow became even more red. "What are you talking about? And don't suddenly say things like that in front of the kids."

Nona pulled on the sleeve of Hikari's robe and looked innocently into her eyes. Her cute little eyes were questioning. "Goddess? What does it mean to cream one's self?"

Hikari's eyes widened as she realized her mistake. "Uh, it's not something for you to know about for at least 50 years."

The little girl tilted her head. "How come I can't know about it? Why do you get all of the fun?"

Hikari looked towards Amelia for defense, but luckily, support arrived in the form of her three other party members. As they walked into the inn with several bags, Hikari smiled and waved.

"Mistress," Mizuko said, "it was hard finding open shops with all of this chaos in the streets. Even if it's died down a little bit, only a few of the shops were open."

"The lady told us that the early bird gets the worm, and there's no way she'd miss out on being one of the first opened businesses," Ayase said. She pulled a swimming suit out of the bag and smiled wryly. "It's kind of weird that this world has such detailed swimming suits. Don't you think so, Lady Hikari?"

The silver-haired elven goddess in question frowned. "Why did you start calling me Lady Hikari? Also, I hope that suit is not for me. I asked for a full body bathing suit, and that one has almost no fabric."

Ayase whistled and turned away.

"Master," the dragon said, "I would quickly disassociate from this one. She's a real pervert, and all of her words consisted of debauchery towards your great self. Her lecherous gaze is also provoking my ire."

Mizuko looked at the white bikini with thin straps. "However, I must say that her choice of outfit for you was impeccable. I also want to see my mistress in this." The vampire grinned, showing off her pearly white fangs.

Hikari sighed in defeat, knowing that she'd not end up winning this battle. She vowed to stay strong for this new battlefield to come. She took the outfit handed to her with much reluctance.

"Alright, everyone, let's all go have fun! Get changed, and we'll all meet up for the beach episode."

Nona grinned and jumped up and down with her swimming suit in hand. "Let's go!"

Hikari decided that if she didn't look down at her body there was nothing to be ashamed about. Instead, she could look out at the gorgeous morning sea. The sun reflecting off its surface created the atmosphere of a beautiful painting. Even more so were the outfits of the others.

Mizuko had a crimson top, covering her sizable chest, and on the bottom she wore black. However, the bottom part was so thin, Hikari could practically imagine everything. All of her wide hips were exposed, and Hikari saw a nice V-line from her tummy.

Kurayami wore purple. The dragon's thick thighs and long legs would make anyone envious. Her abs were plainly on display, and all of her toned muscles dared to stir something within Hikari if she looked too long. Not to mention, her exotic tail and horns made the image even more satisfying.

Ayase chose full black for herself. Out of everyone, she seemed the most risque. Technically, the bottom piece covered more than Mizuko's, but that was only until you noticed that everything was see-through. With the exception of the two important bits on bottom and the two perks on top, one could see everything.

As for Hikari, hers was the most modest. Her white swimming suit covered everything, but the thin straps made her a bit nervous. If one pulled hard enough on the side, all of her would be known to everyone.

The pink-haired goddess was as expected. She wore a frilly pink bikini. Luckily for her, she was able to choose her own outfit. She'd already had one to begin with.

Nona ran into the ocean with her full body swimming suit, and Kai ran after her.

"Don't go too deep, sis!"

"I know, I know, geez…"

Amelia giggled and followed after them. "Hey, you two, don't make my job harder than it needs to be!"

The dragon latched onto Hikari's arm, squishing her assets against it. "Come on, Master!"

Her other arm was gripped by Mizuko. "Mistress, I await your orders."

From behind, Hikari felt the witch wrap her arms around Hikari's waist. "Lady Hikari," Ayase whispered, "next time we should do this without our clothes."

The elf felt her heart pounding in her chest. She tried to focus on the fine sand between her toes instead. She turned her ears to the screaming children to ground herself, letting herself be dragged towards the water by the three evil vixens.

She felt the ocean's cold water touch her toes. The sensation was not at all unpleasant for her, but it was slightly ticklish. Eventually, she went deep enough that the water soaked up to her midriff.

Ayase decided to splash water down the elf's back.

The elf turned around and glared at her. "That does it!"

Using a small amount of magic, the elf launched a small wave that went above Ayase's head.

It caught the poor witch by surprise, and when she surfaced, her cheeks inflated into a pout. "Hey, using magic is cheating!"

"Master! I wanna play, too!" The dragon roared before whipping her tail underneath the water.

The result was Hikari being swallowed up by a wave. The elf slipped below the surface and swallowed much of the salt water. Luckily for her, she was no longer human. She quickly found that breathing was simple, and even if she opened her eyes, the view was clear without any pain.

She couldn't help but be fascinated by the ocean's floor even further out. Several fauna and flora had taken refuge under the sea. Beautiful purple leaves, crimson flowers, and even further than that she saw unfamiliar fish.

In the distance were sea creatures that she'd never known before. At least, the ones that Hikari did know about from Earth had gone extinct long ago. She saw Ichthyosaurs swimming in the shallow water.

Mizuko spoke next to her ear. "It's quite wondrous, isn't it?"

"How are you speaking under water? Wait, how am I speaking under water?"

The voice of her dragon answered her. "Master's acting silly again."

Ayase's voice followed from above. "In this world, talking under the surface is easy once you get the hang of magic. I suppose for you, such a thing would come naturally, Lady Hikari."

Hikari nodded. She chose to simply accept her new nicknames. Instead, the elf turned her attention back to the deep water, but that's when she spotted something.

From under a reef, she saw a small amount of black flames leaking into the ocean. It was like a little underwater geyser, shooting out a puff of black, devouring flames.

The fish above it were instantly incinerated. Hikari could only look helplessly at the dragon.

"It looks like you've really created a whole new problem."
