I Can Recognize Everything, But the Information is Wrong-Chapter 115 - 103: The Bell
"How come it is by my favor?"
"Hall Master Shang said, since it was Brother Tian who recommended me to be a disciple of the Law Enforcement Hall, my background and character must be considered clean and reliable."
Zhao Si’s face was filled with emotion:
"After my parents passed away, no one in this world has treated me so well. Your action, Brother Tian, reminds me of my deceased parents, I wish I could—"
Tian Lin, finding his words exaggerated, quickly interrupted him:
"All I did was casually mention you in front of Hall Master Shang. If he values you, it is because of your own merits, so there’s no need to thank me."
In reality, Tian Lin had never mentioned Zhao Si in front of Shang Yu. It wasn’t that he was unwilling to help Zhao Si, but rather he didn’t want to implicate him.
Thus, Tian Lin was also puzzled as to why Shang Yu would bestow kindness on Zhao Si under his name.
The two of them made their way up to the mid-mountain, where Zhao Si stopped and asked Tian Lin:
"Does Brother Tian want to visit Hall Master Shang first, or find Elder Xiao?"
"I am here to see Elder Xiao regarding the official business of Baihua Peak. How could I put personal matters before public duty? Brother Zhao, lead me straight to Elder He. After I have finished my business, if there is time, I will then visit Hall Master Shang."
Elder He had strange habits and did not live at the mountain top, nor near the public offices.
He had a cave mansion built on the back mountain where normally no one visited.
Zhao Si then led Tian Lin through the woods towards the rear mountain, and soon they saw Elder He’s flying crane.
The flying crane stood on one leg by a pond, silently staring at ’itself’ in the water, as if it were deeply contemplative.
Tian Lin frowned, unsure of what could have happened to this normally noisy flying crane that made it appear so quiet and ’introverted’ in the Heart Inquiry Sect.
Zhao Si, however, tugged on Tian Lin’s sleeve and pulled him around the pond where the crane was.
When the two were far enough from the pond and getting close to Elder He’s cave mansion, Zhao Si finally said to Tian Lin, "It’s fishing right now; we must not disturb it."
Tian Lin was momentarily at a loss for words. He stood at the entrance of the cave and made a salutation to the empty cave, saying, "Disciple Tian Lin seeks an audience for a matter."
A voice came from within the cave, Elder Xiao’s voice: "Weren’t you climbing Dao Seeking Mountain? Now you’ve thought to care about your junior sister; come on in!"
This time Tian Lin entered the cave alone, but a white shadow moved faster than he did, whipping up a gust of wind as it darted inside.
Tian Lin then heard Elder He’s voice cursing inside: "This fish is too small, catch it again, catch it again!"
Following that, Tian Lin saw the flying crane’s figure rushing out from the cave again, passing him by with another gust of wind.
Elder He’s cave was not dim, for there were wind lanterns and candles hanging on all eight sides of the chamber.
Tian Lin noticed that apart from the wind lanterns and candles, what drew more attention were the swords of various sizes.

Tian Lin withdrew his gaze from the swords and looked towards the three elders basking by the fire in the center of the chamber.
Elder Feng sat squarely in the middle, with Elder He and Elder Xiao sitting on either side.
Tian Lin recalled that Elder Xiao had never cultivated Blood True Qi, and it seemed Elder Feng had not either.
As for Elder He, he cultivated swordsmanship and did not appear to have practiced Blood True Qi either.
So, it turned out these three elders were the only ones in the Yao Yue Sect who had never cultivated Blood True Qi.
All three gathered here unavoidably made Tian Lin feel they were conspiring something significant.
"Disciple pays respects to the three elders."
Tian Lin stood firm in front of the campfire, listening as Elder Xiao asked him, "You’re here to inquire about Han Yue, right? Now, what is your plan?"
"I only know that Senior Sister Han is being detained in the Heart Inquiry Sect, but I don’t know the reason; the junior brothers and sisters on the peak are also very concerned about Senior Sister Han’s situation, so they asked me to inquire. I also request the elders’ guidance."
Elder Xiao let out a cold laugh and said, "What’s there to say? The Heart Inquiry Sect has detained a disciple of our Yao Yue Sect, regardless of the reason, we can only knock on their door to demand an explanation."
After he finished speaking, Elder Feng immediately grabbed Elder Xiao’s arm, "This matter requires careful long-term consideration; Xiao Junior Brother, we must not ruin the millennia of friendship between Righteous Sects."
Elder Xiao shook off Elder Feng’s hand and stood up to question Elder Feng:
"Is it the Heart Inquiry Sect that wishes to ruin the friendship, or is it our Yao Yue Sect?"
Elder Feng stated firmly, "At this critical juncture, Sect Leader Xing will not provoke a conflict with the Heart Inquiry Sect over an Outer Disciple."
"Heh, the matter of my Baihua Peak doesn’t need Sect Leader Xing to worry about. I will just use my own name to seek an explanation from the Heart Inquiry Sect."
Elder Xiao flicked his sleeve, about to leave, but was again held back by Elder Feng:
"Elder He has already caused a fuss in the Heart Inquiry Sect once, barely making it back alive. If you go alone, Elder Xiao, you might not only fail to rescue Han Yue but might also get yourself captured."
Knowing that his words would not frighten Elder Xiao, he added:
"You should know, there are only a dozen or so white-robed disciples in the Yao Yue Sect now. If you don’t consider these young disciples’ futures, think about who will take care of your granddaughter if you get detained by the Heart Inquiry Sect?"
Elder Xiao’s gaze suddenly slid towards Tian Lin, making him feel unusually uncomfortable.
Afraid of getting involved in trouble, Tian Lin quickly followed Elder Feng’s lead to persuade Elder Xiao:
"This junior believes what Elder Feng said is absolutely right. Baihua Peak and Elder Xiao’s sister all rely on the Peak Master, so please consider it carefully."
Elder Xiao’s expression fluctuated for a while, and finally, he sat back down, but he said angrily, "So we should just let the matter rest?"
Elder Feng, of course, wanted peace and harmony but knew Elder Xiao would never agree.
He stroked his beard and suggested, "How about we request Sect Leader Xing to draft a letter and send it to the Heart Inquiry Sect to see if there might have been some misunderstanding?"
