I FOUND A DOOR TO TENSURA AND BECAME BROKEN IN THE REAL WORLD TOO-Chapter 15: A Fateful Encounter
Chapter 15: A Fateful Encounter
The next day after my unexpected stint as a model, I went home feeling both exhausted and regretful. While helping with the photoshoot had been a unique experience, I couldn't shake the nagging thought that I should've spent my earnings on something more practical—like home appliances—rather than just daily necessities.
Slumping onto my old, creaky couch, I let out a tired sigh.
"Ugh... I should've bought a new washing machine or at least a microwave..." I muttered, running a hand through my hair.
My eyes drifted to the corner of the room where my ancient, boxy analog TV sat collecting dust. It hadn't worked in years, and since I didn't subscribe to any newspapers, I was completely cut off from the latest news.
"Man... no TV, no news... am I living in the Stone Age or what?" I grumbled.
As I glanced around the small apartment, I noticed how worn out my other appliances were—my fridge made a faint buzzing noise, the electric kettle barely heated water anymore, and my rice cooker needed multiple attempts just to function.
"...I've failed as an adult," I mumbled in defeat, burying my face into the couch cushion.
But despite my complaints, I knew I had to face reality.
"School again today... ugh."
I dragged myself off the couch and stretched my sore limbs.
After getting dressed, I stood in front of the small mirror by the entrance. My reflection gave me pause. Even though I had grown somewhat accustomed to my new appearance, it still surprised me. My once plain, unimpressive face was now sharp and refined. My eyes seemed brighter, my jawline more defined, and my hair effortlessly neat, almost like something out of a commercial.
"...Yeah, this doesn't even feel like me anymore," I muttered, touching my face absentmindedly.
Still, my responsibilities called, and with a resigned sigh, I slung my bag over my shoulder and stepped outside.
"I need money for living. For that... I have to go to a different world again."
I exhaled heavily, my breath forming a faint mist in the morning air.
"...Sigh... It's really easier to fight monsters over there than to go to school here..." I mumbled bitterly, kicking a stray pebble along the sidewalk.
As I shuffled along, dreading the long school day ahead, I suddenly heard a voice call out behind me.
"Hey, you."

"Huh?"
I stopped and turned around, blinking in surprise.
Standing there were two familiar faces—my younger brother, Tenjou Youta, and his twin sister, Tenjou Sora. The two of them were staring at me with expressions of disbelief.
"...Uwaa, seriously? Them?" I groaned inwardly, my stomach twisting.
I had been hoping to avoid them for as long as possible, but of course, fate had other plans.
Even though I wanted to pretend I hadn't seen them, I reluctantly acknowledged them with a flat expression.
"...What do you want?" I asked stiffly, not bothering to hide my disinterest.
Youta smirked, his eyes narrowing with a mocking glint.
"What, you said? Your attitude is still just as shitty as ever, huh?" he sneered.
I frowned slightly, unsure why he was being so hostile right off the bat.
"...What are you talking about?"
Sora crossed her arms and cocked her head, looking me up and down with a scrutinizing glare.
"We heard a stupid rumor, you know," she said coolly. "Apparently, our good-for-nothing brother has suddenly turned into a total hottie."
"Eh...?"
I blinked, caught off guard by her words.
"Yeah," Youta chimed in with a scowl. "Our friends wouldn't shut up about it. Said they saw you and couldn't believe it was you. I told them they were full of crap, but they were so annoying about it that we came here to see for ourselves."
Sora clicked her tongue, her eyes filled with disdain.
"I thought it was just some dumb prank or mistaken identity... but, ugh... look at you." She grimaced, almost offended.
"You really did change," she muttered, narrowing her eyes.
Their sharp stares bore into me, making me shift uncomfortably.
"...What the hell did you do?" Youta demanded, stepping closer.
I stiffened.
"Wh-what I did...?" I stammered, caught off guard.
"Don't play dumb!" Youta snapped. "You definitely did something. Plastic surgery? Or did you sell your soul for a magic potion or some crap?" He laughed mockingly, but his eyes held a sharp glimmer of suspicion.
"Plastic surgery?" I echoed, momentarily stunned.
Sure, my face had changed drastically, but the idea that they would immediately jump to plastic surgery made my stomach churn.
"Ha! You definitely did it," Youta sneered.
"What a joke. So pathetic... changing your face with plastic surgery and thinking you're suddenly hot shit."
Sora smirked cruelly and flipped her hair over her shoulder.
"Yeah. What a loser move. Like that fake face will ever make up for how useless you are."
I clenched my fists at their taunts but kept my mouth shut.
"Oh, by the way," Youta added with a venomous grin, "where'd you even get the money for it? Did you sell Grandpa's old junk or something? Or did you sell the house? Hahaha!"
I froze at the mention of Grandpa, a sharp pang hitting my chest. My jaw tightened, but I remained silent, unwilling to let them see how much their words cut.
They continued to belittle me in front of the growing crowd of students, their voices dripping with cruelty.
"Pfft. You think a prettier face changes anything? You're still a useless piece of trash," Youta spat.
"Yeah. You can't study, you suck at sports, and you've got no future," Sora added, her eyes gleaming with malice.
"You'll always be inferior."
I bit the inside of my cheek, my nails digging into my palm. Their words stung, mostly because they were true.
Suddenly, the crowd of students that had gathered began to murmur loudly. The jeers and whispers of my siblings were drowned out by the rising commotion.
"...Huh?"
Youta frowned, glancing around.
"What's with all the noise?"
Then, without warning, a sleek, black limousine pulled up alongside us.
"Wha-!?"
"Eh!?"
The sheer luxury of the vehicle left the three of us speechless. The limousine's pristine, polished exterior reflected the morning light, glimmering like a jewel amidst the sea of students.
The door swung open with a soft, elegant click, and from within emerged two women.
The first was a strikingly beautiful woman dressed in refined butler attire. She moved with practiced grace, her sharp eyes scanning the surroundings with a calm, commanding presence.
And beside her...
My breath caught in my throat.
A girl with flowing, glossy black hair that cascaded down to her waist stepped out. She wore an elegant blazer-style uniform, predominantly white with navy accents, adorned with the prestigious emblem of Ousei Gakuen.
Her beauty was breathtaking—refined and graceful, with a delicate elegance that felt almost surreal. Her eyes, sharp yet gentle, locked onto mine with a soft intensity.
She smiled faintly and took a step toward me.
"Tenjou Yuuya-san... right?"
I blinked in confusion, her familiar voice pulling at my memory.
"Eh...?"
She smiled warmly.
"Fufu. Don't you remember? You saved me once... from those men at the convenience store."
Realization hit me like a bolt of lightning.
"A-ah...! Y-you're... that girl!"
The corners of her lips curved into a soft smile.
"Indeed. I've been looking for you ever since... and I've finally found you."
Before I could respond, she spoke words that turned my world upside down.
"Yuuya-san... why don't you come to Ousei Gakuen?"
Youta and Sora gawked in disbelief.
"Wha—!?"
"E-eh!?"
The students around us began murmuring louder, shocked by the prestigious invitation.
I stared at her, stunned.
"...Eh?"
I could barely breathe. This... couldn't be real. Could it?
