Yu Chen slowly climbed off the sofa after making sure that Xiaolei was fast asleep. He grabbed a blanket and carefully covered her before he planted a kiss on her forehead.

When he stepped out of the house, Zaki was still busy speaking with Juu and Kyuu. Yu Chen knew that Zaki didn't come personally to Scarlet Hill just to give him some honeymoon advice. He knew that there was an important reason why he came so he immediately came out to see him before he left.

As Yu Chen approached them, Zaki quickly stood up. He was smiling widely as he leaned in on Yu Chen with a victorious face.

\"It's a success, Yu Chen. This stubborn guy finally agreed.\" He grinned. \"Aren't I great?\"

Yu Chen ignored the animated Zaki and walked towards Kyuu. \"Don't worry, you'll be fine in there. Juu and I will visit you.\" he said, patting his friend's shoulder while Kyuu simply nodded.

Kyuu then walked towards the black house to pack up.

\"I'll help you pack up.\" Juu chased the leaving man and once the two were gone, Zaki's expression changed from animated to serious as he faced Yu Chen.

He sighed as he slipped his hands inside his pockets. \"About what you said to Sei before you fell into a coma… it appears that it's true.\" Zaki said and Yu Chen's face immediately darkened.

\"How many are there?\"

\"Sei only confirmed two of them but he said there might still be five of them that are still alive right now.\"

\"They haven't located you guys yet, right?\"

\"Not yet. Sei destroyed all the evidence that could lead them to us. But they might eventually find us one day. There's no need for us to fret about them for now. We just need to prepare for the worst case scenario. The place where Sister-in-law is conducting her experiments is a safe place so it's the best idea to take Kyuu there. Davi said Kyuu will begin to lose control of himself soon so we must take him out of here before anything happens.\"

\"Mm. I understand. How about Juu? Isn't it better if you take him as well?\"

\"No, Davi said it's not a good idea to let Juu see the process that Kyuu needs to undergo. Besides, Kyuu will never agree to come with me if no one stays with you. Those two are pretty stubborn. You didn't teach them well, you know? Sigh… don't worry about Juu, he's still fine so let him do what he wants for now. It's alright, no one will find him as long as he doesn't blatantly show the world who he is.\"

\"Okay then, I'll leave Kyuu to you.\" Yu Chen looked like a troubled father entrusting his son to his friend, a look that made Zaki's face become carefree again.

\"Haha, don't make such a face. He'll be fine.\" He assured Yu Chen and then after that, Zaki, along with Kyuu, finally left Scarlet Hill.

When Xiaolei woke up, Yu Chen was no longer in the study room. She went back to their room and changed out of her business suit before she went to look for him.

She heard voices coming from the backyard so she walked towards the back door. What appeared before her was Yu Chen sitting on the grass as he watched Little Ran and Rui playing with Big Dark in an open area. His hands were stretched out behind him as he leaned on the grass and one of his long legs was folded. He looked like he was sitting there for a photoshoot. Sigh… this man…

Silently, Xiaolei tiptoed as she approached him. She knelt behind him and then covered his eyes.

\"Xiaolei…\" he immediately said, touching her hands on his eyes.

\"Tsk, you're no fun.\" She huffed as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Little Ran and Rui saw her and the two ran over. Big Dark also followed them and the three of them collided with the couple.

They all ended up lying on the grass, laughing happily.

With the addition of Big Dark, their family had grown bigger again.

Of course, that particular happy family bonding moment didn't escape the legendary historian who even decided to climb on the roof just to be able to get the best angle for the best shot. He even dragged Juu along to help him after coaxing him for a long while.

\"Look Juu… isn't this shot perfect?\" Gu Wei was boasting about his photography skill to the silent doll beside him. \"Hey, at least give me a little reaction!\"

Juu just looked at him but surprisingly, the man was actually being cooperative this time. He gave Gu Wei three soft claps and even though there was no change in his facial expression at all, Gu Wei was overjoyed.

\"Hahaha. I'm the best, right? Juu, the breathing mannequin even gave me three claps! Haha.\"

Time passed and the family of four went back inside for dinner. This was technically their real reunion since Yu Chen woke up so they truly enjoyed their time together and not only that, they were now also a real and legal family, which was something else to be celebrated.

After their dinner, the four of them then wore their family outfits before they all climbed on the bed. This was really nostalgic that Xiaolei almost teared up. Seeing her big panda and the little pandas all together within her reach was making her heart burst with happiness. She really, really missed this.

As the panda family happily lay on the bed, they heard a sound of a descending helicopter. Yu Chen and Xiaolei didn't even bother to get up and have a look. They were just so comfortable lying there, holding the buns between them, that they didn't seem to care whoever it was that arrived at this hour.

Surprisingly, it was the little buns who rose, causing Xiaolei and Yu Chen to crease their brows in curiosity.

Rui looked at their parents as he smiled.

\"Mommy, daddy, sorry but we need to go now.\" He said and the couple looked at each other before they quickly rose as well.

\"That helicopter is actually here to get us,\" he continued and both the adults blinked in confusion.

\"Get you? Why?\" Xiaolei asked with wide eyes and Rui moved to kiss both their cheeks.

\"Well, we can't stay here and disturb daddy and mommy's time together so we're going back to grandpa's until you give us our baby sister.\" The little boy grinned and then he held Ranran's hand as they stood.

\"Bye bye, mommy, daddy.\" Ranran also kissed them goodbye and then the little pandas climbed off the bed, leaving their dumbfounded parents in the room.
