I Just Wanted to Teach Cultivation, But Goddesses Keep Coming!-Chapter 169 The Author Ran Out of Cold Metaphors
Most of the men’s eyes were fixed on the unexpected guest in their class today.
Whispers spread like wildfire the moment she stepped into the stadium.
Even those who usually pretended to be disciplined and exemplary male students could not help but steal glances in her direction, especially the older ones, ranging from middle aged men to those old enough to be grandfathers in his classroom.
And who could blame them?
Lin Feng certainly wouldn’t.
The woman was simply too beautiful to ignore.
Her long black hair flowed smoothly down her back like silk, swaying gently with every step she took.
Her figure was mature and alluring, refined yet undeniably captivating.
She carried herself with a quiet confidence that demanded attention without ever asking for it.
But it was her eyes that stood out the most.
They were the bluest pair Lin Feng had ever seen in his life which was clear and deep like a frozen lake beneath a winter sky.
On any normal day, he might have appreciated their beauty a little longer.
They were the kind of eyes that could easily make a man lose focus and get hard without even trying.
Unfortunately, those very eyes were currently looking at him with undisguised coldness.
There was no admiration in them. No curiosity. Only distance and judgment and great doubt.
Lin Feng noticed it immediately. He had long grown sensitive to the gazes of others.
Whether it was admiration, envy, love, or hostility, he could tell at a glance.
He chose to ignore her.
Getting another woman to obsess over him wasn’t worth the trouble.
Experience had taught him that admiration often turned into complications.
Complications turned into drama. And drama wasted time.
Time was something he valued far more than fleeting attention.
Of course, he did not relish the idea of another female teacher becoming obsessed with his innate charm.
"Okay, class, settle down," Lin Feng’s calm but authoritative voice echoed through the stadium, instantly suppressing the noise.
"We’re going to begin now. Take your seats and observe silence."
The murmurs quickly faded. Even the boldest students straightened their backs.
He walked toward the center of the wide training stadium with unhurried steps.
The sunlight cast a faint glow over his figure, and the wind stirred his robes slightly.
Despite the distraction that had just entered the class, his expression remained composed.
All of his favorite students were present today.
They all looked at him with obvious admiration and respect.
The more restless ones shuffled briefly before forcing themselves into position.
Even the unexpected guest eventually found a place among them.
After a full minute of silence, Lin Feng spoke again.
"Today, we’re going to have another great lesson."
His voice was steady, neither loud nor soft, yet it carried clearly to every corner of the stadium.
"I want all of you to close your eyes and think of nothing. Empty your minds completely. Let go of distractions. Let go of expectations."
The students hesitated for only a second before obeying.
"Listen carefully to the sounds around you. The wind. Your breathing. The faint movements in the air. Feel everything but think of nothing."
The stadium gradually fell into complete silence.
"Do not open your eyes until I tell you to."
After giving the instructions, Lin Feng followed them himself.
He slowly lowered himself, took a seat, and drew a deep breath.
His back was straight, his posture relaxed yet firm.
He closed his eyes.
The world around him seemed to fade.
He neither moved nor spoke.
Even his breathing grew light and steady, blending seamlessly with the wind drifting through the open stadium.
For a moment, it felt as though he had become part of the environment itself as calm, unmoving, detached.
Nothing moved. No one spoke. The stadium became as silent as a graveyard.
Time slowly passed. One minute turned into two. Two stretched into five. Yet no one stirred.
The stillness remained unbroken, heavy and profound, as if even the wind had chosen to hold its breath.
The beautiful woman frowned slightly.
What are they doing? she wondered. Did they rehearse this beforehand? Is this some kind of act put on for my sake?
Her sharp blue eyes swept across the students one by one.
Young and old alike, they all sat perfectly still with their eyes closed, their breathing calm and steady.
There was no sign of impatience, no suppressed laughter, no subtle shifting of posture.
They were completely immersed.
She had the urge to interrupt. To test them.
To see if this strange silence would shatter with the slightest disturbance.
But that would be rude.
The teacher had already begun his lesson.
No matter how skeptical she felt, barging in now would only lower her own dignity.
So she restrained herself and waited.
One hour passed.
The stillness did not break.
The sun climbed higher in the sky, casting shorter shadows across the stadium floor.
Sweat formed on some of the students’ brows under the midday heat, yet none of them moved.
The second hour arrived.
Still nothing changed.
The woman’s brows knitted together.
Even she began to feel a subtle pressure from the oppressive quiet.
Finally, the third hour struck.
It was already noon.
Only then did Lin Feng slowly open his eyes.
The simple motion felt like a stone dropped into a still lake, sending invisible ripples through the air.
The silence broke naturally, not abruptly, but with quiet completion.
"Well done," Lin Feng said calmly. "You may now go home and reflect on your harvest for today. I will see you all next Monday."
His tone was neither proud nor exaggerated... just steady and certain.
As if waking from a long and profound dream, the students opened their eyes one after another.
There was no confusion in their gazes. No frustration.
Only clarity.
The unexpected visitor blinked as well, instinctively waiting for outrage. She expected complaints.
Whispers of being deceived.
At the very least, some sign that they had wasted three full hours doing absolutely nothing.
But none came.
