The hologram harp appears inside Geri’s hand. She swipes a tune on it, and the pink dome once again materializes.

A pink hue covers Blaze’s yellow aura, enhancing it even further. Geri’s power doesn’t just stack on Lightning Ascension, it combines and exceeds the original attribute enhancement even further.

The Crimson punches forward, sending a destructive line of sparks toward Adam.

The Chief of Police turns into pure energy and jumps to the side. He transforms into a tiger in mid-air.

The tiger is made out of pure energy and is semi-transparent. It slashes at the Crimson.

The Swordmaster comes over and slashes his gigantic dark sword. The black energy collides with the tiger claws, creating a shrieking metal sound.

The strike is parried perfectly, and the tiger gets repulsed back a bit.

The Crimson circles around the Swordmaster and delivers another devastating punch with his glove.

A straight line of sparks shoots at the tiger.

Adam jumps into the sky and turns into a giant eagle, avoiding the strike.

The Runner gathers momentum by running in circles, looking for a perfect opportunity to strike. His legs transform into sharp blades in the process.

When Adam jumps up, the Runner immediately follows suit and jumps behind him.

He executes a perfect backdrop kick with the blade slashing in the middle of the eagle’s back.

Adam spins in place, creating a cyclone that pushes the Runner away. Sharp feathers materialize inside the cyclone and shoot at the Runner.

The Brutalist picks a boulder up from the ground and throws it at the feathers, striking the eagle in the meantime.

The boulder shields the Runner from the attack, and it continues flying at the Eagle.

The eagle transforms again, now he has become a slender fish with two tiny wings on the side.

The fish swims in the air like it is in the water, avoiding the boulder without issues.

"What the fuck?" The Brutalist says. "What kind of fish fly?"

Blaze walks on the outside, charging his Destruction Beam at Adam.

The A-Force is very capable, so he doesn’t need to intervene. All he has to do is find a perfect opportunity to strike a deathly blow.

They also work well as a team. Blaze does not want to mess with this harmonious teamwork.

After avoiding all the strikes perfectly, Adam finally counterattacks.

He turns into a giant phoenix and spreads its wings.

The span of those wings must have covered one-third of the inner yard.

With one flap, yellow fissures appear in the air, starting from the wings and spreading to each position of the A-Force members.

From the fissures, an unstable spatial energy leaks out.

"Get away! It’s a space bomb!"

The Swordmaster yells and immediately jumps back, moving away from the fissure that is reaching for him.

The Crimson carries the Harpist on his back and dashes away.

The Brutalist uses his two muscular legs to jump high, retreating from the effective radius.

The Runner turns into a blur and disappears from the scene.

The fissures explode, and from them, chaotic yellow energy disintegrates the ground even further.

The inner yard drops down another level.

A screeching noise zips through the air. The phoenix turns its back immediately toward the sound and sees a black beam of darkness screaming at it.

"Destruction Energy? You should not have the access to this power, demon."

Adam is visibly surprised. It constricts its wings and turns into a ball of yellow energy.

The ball spins in place and grinds into the black beam of darkness.

Black smoke exudes due to their collision.

The one hundred percent kill rate Destruction Beam has failed for the first time. Its dark energy gives out eventually and disappears from existence.

Blaze isn’t surprised at all. This is an otherworldly being taking hold of Adam. If it is easily defeated, then it will make no sense.

He materializes the Karambit in his right hand and dashes forward. He slices the blade on his hand for it to feast on his blood, activating its penetration power.

Blaze jumps on to the ball of yellow and slams the Karambit down. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

The blade successfully pierces through its energy field and thrusts inside.

"It is that easy?"

The Crimson says.

The yellow ball fades into nothingness, and Adam’s humanoid figure appears in a position far away. That was only a decoy.

"I spoke too soon." The Crimson says.

"Demonic weapon. Hah! You really are a demon." Adam says. "But you feel weak. Where is all your power?"

Arms burst out from Adam’s shadow and grab at him successfully.

"But you don’t always use demonic power. This is something else. You’re an interesting demon, Wraith."

Blaze doesn’t answer and dashes forward, aiming the blade at Adam’s neck.

A yellow light bursts out from Adam’s body. All the arms behind are disintegrated in an instant.

Adam’s energy claws clash with Blaze’s blade. Sparks burst out from their collision.

"Not a talkative type, I see," Adam says.

"You talk too much!"

Blaze materializes the Destruction Wand in his other hand and aims at Adam’s stomach.

The red lightning bolt strikes at him, sending Adam flying away with smoke coming out of his stomach.

A successful strike leaves no wound on Adam’s body. When the smoke dissipates, Blaze can see that his lightning bolt didn’t even get through Adam’s yellow aura.

Adam dusts off his shoulder like it’s no big deal.

"Playtime is over. I’ll show you what true divinity looks like, demon kind."

Adam floats in the air and curls into a ball. Suddenly, his yellow aura burst into flames, and a shockwave shot out in all directions.

Blaze immediately gets sent flying.

The Crimson steps in front of the Harpist to protect her, but they are both swept away.

The Brutalist holds his ground, the yellow energy eats into his flesh like acid.

The Runner and the Swordmaster all choose to retreat and extend the distance.

The inner yard is dropped down another level. A giant hole is created inside the Police Headquarters.

They almost reach the sewer already.
