I Only Want To Kill-Chapter 155: Kiss her, Fool
Lucia raises her left hand, the blue glow appears again. Blaze grabs her wrist immediately.
"No! Don’t do anything stupid! This magic circle is very unstable!"
Lucia’s wrist trembles. Her face distorts into an ugly, miserable expression. But she tries her best to contain it. It has the exact opposite effect, making her look like she’s in extreme pain. Even Blaze can feel it. He can sense the overwhelming wave of emotion that crashes over her.
Tears well up in her eyes. Lucia smacks Blaze’s hand away and drops down on his chest once more. As he has removed his equipment, Blaze is now completely exposed.
He can feel the warm tears dropping on his chest. The tears that Lucia tries her best to hide by planting her head into Blaze’s chest.
When Blaze looks down, he can only see the trembling of her crimson hair. Blaze instinctively places his hand on Lucia’s head, rubbing it gently.
"It’s alright. Everything is alright. I am here."
Lucia’s body calms down. But her breath stays shallow and quick. Her nails bite into Blaze’s hips like knives, really trying to hurt him.
But then Blaze lets out a quiet groan because of the pain. Lucia releases immediately.
She lifts her head up.
"Are you okay?" 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
Their faces are dangerously close. Her nose touches his nose and their breaths blend into one.
A sensation washes over Blaze. Something that he has never felt before. A primordial, animalistic desire. The desire to claim a woman entirely for his own.
"I..."
As Blaze tries to speak, Lucia puts her fingers on his lips.
"Don’t say anything. Just... Let’s just stay like this for a bit."
Then she caresses his face. Her hand is gentle and longing, as if touching an illusive treasure that can disappear at any time.
Blaze looks directly into her eyes. The eyes are full of water and sorrow. What did Blaze Singer even do to cause so much pain for this woman? He thinks.
He prayed that it wasn’t him who she talked about. He prayed that it was just someone with the same name. But looking at her face now, the answer is clear.
Blaze answers her touch with his own. He reaches up to touch her cheek with his palm. Her face is small, smooth and is almost covered entirely by his hand. Lucia rubs her face into his palm then sniffs it gently.
Her breath is warm.
She closes her eyes briefly. As if she wants to ingrain this moment into her memory.
When Lucia opens her eyes again, all the sorrow disappears. What is left is only anger and hatred. In her left hand, a shiny dagger is already there.
She thrust it forward right at his heart. Blaze grabs its blade, stopping the knife in its track. The knife cuts into his finger, blood seeps out drop by drop.
Blaze doesn’t say anything and lets silence take over. Her hand is trembling from all the force she put, pressing the knife downward.
"Die, traitor!"
"A moment ago you looked like you wanted to marry me. Now you want to kill me? Decide your heart, woman."
"An enemy of the church is an enemy of mine. I cannot let you ascend the throne, Blaze. It will only bring so much catastrophe to the realms."
"Don’t lie to yourself now. You don’t want to kill me. You only think that you want to kill me."
Lucia squints her eyes, pushing even more but unable to.
"God damn this world! If it isn’t for the limitations, I would’ve killed you already. Especially since you are this weak!" Lucia curses.
"Hmm!"
Blaze releases the palm that is holding the knife, he shifts his body to the side, letting Lucia miss her stab and fall face first to the mattress.
Blaze maneuvers behind her, slaps the knife out of her hand then presses his body down on her. He catches her two wrists and circles them behind her back.
"Release me! Release me, traitor!"
"You keep saying that I am a traitor. What did I even do?"
Lucia smirks.
"Act like nothing happened now, huh? Typical you. Always forgetting important details."
"Don’t be so defensive. I bet there is some misunderstanding here. We can work it out."
"We can work this out by having a fair fight! I said it before, Singer. When we meet again, only one of us is walking out of here alive."
Blaze sighs. It seems that he was too eager in revealing his identity.
He looks forward and sees her neck glistening in sweat. She did her best to buy him time to read the magic circle. Her perfect skin lights up like jewelry with a smell that is too alluring to refuse.
Something just comes up to him. Alyson has always had an incredibly funny spot on her ear.
Blaze lowers his head, approaching Lucia closer.
"No... What are you doing? Stop!
Ummmmmm!"
An involuntary noise comes out of Lucia. Her face is now as red as her hair. She purses her lips and buries her face on the mattress, trying to hide her embarrassed emotion.
But Blaze doesn’t stop, he keeps biting her ear gently.
"No... Please... Ummmm!"
Her breath becomes heavier and heavier. Whatever Blaze is doing, it has led to something that he won’t be able to control.
"You scumbag... Humiliate me like this... I will... Ahhh..."
"You seem to like it, don’t you?" Blaze finally stops.
He flips her over, his hands still holding her wrist, making sure she is not causing any trouble.
Blaze’s birthday suit is all over Lucia. His familiar scent overwhelms her. Her anger and hatred seem to be melting with each passing second. She tries to hang on to them for dear life but it is futile.
She knows very well that she doesn’t hate him. Even though she tries to convince herself always.
Blaze can see that Lucia is finally calming down. Her body relaxes and she stops resisting.
"I’m going to release you now. Don’t hurt me alright."
Lucia avoids Blaze’s gaze and nods. He lets go of her hands. His left palm is full of blood because of the knife. Some of it gets on her wrist.
"Can you... Uh. Put something on." Lucia’s voice is as quiet as bee wings.
"Oh. Right. Sorry."
Blaze equips the Shadow Tattered Cloak again, he controls it so that its shadow does not cover his face.
"And get off me, please..."
"Do you want to get on top? We don’t actually have any space."
"...Forget about it."
"Now all that is done. I think we should talk to clear things up."
"What is there to clear? You abandoned me." Lucia looks over to the side. "And now you have a new girl named Alyson."
"Okay. I have to clarify something here. You are Alyson! You have her face, voice and even smell. But I don’t know you, Lucia.
I’ve never heard of the Holy Church. I’ve never seen a Moonsworn Demon. And I am definitely not some prophesied Chosen One.
I live in Ranas, an advanced world with high-end technology and science. Alyson Aldrin is my former classmate.
I’ve never met you before, Lucia. At least, not the version you are showing to me."
Lucia’s eyes open wide. She looks at Blaze with unhidden surprise.
"You are many things, Blaze Singer. But you aren’t a liar."
"At least you know that."
"Why do you not remember anything? And what is this Ranas? I don’t even know any world with that name."
"Well, technically Ranas is a country. I don’t even know the name of my world."
"Hmm. Could it be planted memories? Were you kidnapped by someone?"
"Honestly, I don’t even know. I just know that I wouldn’t hurt you, Aly... I mean Lucia. I don’t know what we’ve been through but I know that if the guy in your memory is me, I won’t even trade the world for you."
"So you definitely did not abandon me is what you’re saying?"
"Maybe..."
"So... That Alyson that you told me before... That is me?"
"Right. I don’t know why, though. You are definitely the same person. Even twins have their differences. You two are exactly the same. Your hair, your tone, even your smell."
"..."
Lucia pulls Blaze close. Their faces touch each other again and their lips are only separated by a thin strand of air.
"When you told me, you don’t know if you like this Alyson. Is it still the same? Do you not like her...
Do you not like me?"
Blaze stays silent but his fast beating heart tells Lucia all she needs to know. She smiles wide, showing her white teeth under it. She caresses Blaze’s cheek and does not hide any of her feelings any more.
Those feelings turn into a heavy, alluring breath that pokes at Blaze in this close space. He can’t resist no more.
He presses down on her lips. The soft, smooth sensation of her entrances him. It feels like she is made of cloud and sweet. The most inviting dessert that you can imagine.
