I Only Want To Kill-Chapter 94: Kill them all
And then all hell breaks loose.
All the cops with guns start firing at Blaze. He zips around the ground, avoiding all the bullets and coming straight for them.
Yellow electricity is drawn behind his path, creating a chaotic, zigzag line of lightning bolts.
Blaze approaches the platoon of firearms first.
One of the cops throws his gun down and tears out his shirt. Most of the cops with guns have non-combat power, but some do, like this one.
His upper body becomes bigger, and in a millisecond, the cop turns into this giant monster of muscle and veins.
But before he finishes his transformation, Blaze is already here. In Blaze’s hand, a ball of lightning has formed.
He shoves the ball into the cop’s face, and immediately, an explosion of thunder presents itself. Its shockwave sends the cop away and breaks the formation of all the cops behind him.
Yellow electricity spreads from the point of impact and penetrates under enemy skin. Their muscle constricts, causing all the cops to drop on the ground, unable to move.
Their body convulses due to the shock, spit flows out of the corners of their mouth, and their teeth smash against each other repeatedly.
The cop that was pushed away slams his entire body on a metal rack, deforming the metal. Some iron bars burst out from the rack due to the excessive force and pierce his skin.
But he is already unconscious, unable to feel any of that pain.
The cop’s face was crushed into a pulp and no longer has any resemblance to a human face.

The sweet sound of the System rings once again.
Blaze makes another ball of lightning. This time, he shoots the Grappling Hook up to the ceiling, pulling him to a greater height.
Before the cops on the ground are able to recover, Blaze drops down with his lightning ball.
He clenches the ball tightly in his palm, and just before he hits the ground, his palm closes into a fist and punches the ground.
The lightning ball explodes, and its destructive power turns every surrounding stunned cop into a mesh of blood and flesh.

[...]
They all turn into Blaze’s experience. What Anderson said was a lie after all. Bluff to cause Sebastian to back away.
Not every cop here is B-rank, and they definitely do not have twenty B-rank Awakeners.
The screeching sound of the wind emits in Blaze’s ears. He can hear them.
Blaze turns his head sideways, witnessing large metal poles with sharp edges flying over his way. Covering them is some type of pink energy.
He lowers the center of his body and dashes away once again. The yellow aura splitting the air with its pure pressure.
The metal poles all slam into the ground.
Blaze bolts through the scene, looking for the Telekinesis user.
Master! On your right!
Isaac’s voice emits in his mind. The raven flies around in the warehouse, keeping a close eye on everything.
Blaze turns sharply, and the wind blasts the surrounding dust and air.
In the darkness, two pink spheres of energy catch Blaze’s eyes.
His haunting voice emits, "Got you."
The bald man panics. He turns his back to run away. Pink energy covers his body and lifts him up.
A special use of Minor Telekinesis, applying the power on himself so that he can temporarily fly.
The Karambit shows up in Blaze’s hand, and with his insane speed, he draws a horizontal strike, cutting through the man.
Suddenly, a barrier made out of pink energy materializes and covers the bald man.
The edge of the blade grinds on the barrier but is unable to break through it.
Blaze’s pure strength and the sharpness of the Karambit are unable to nullify the barrier made by the Telekinesis user.
This gives them time to assist the bald man.
The tall woman runs forward with her shield, intending to ram Blaze into oblivion.
The Karambit disappears, and in its place, the Destruction Wand.
Thunder roars, and the red lightning bolt shoots out from the tip of the wand.
It easily penetrates the metal shield and the flesh of the woman, leaving a devastating bloody hole in her stomach.
She looks down in disbelief. Without time to contemplate her death, Blaze dashes forward.
A lightning ball appears in his hand again and slams on the woman’s face, crushing it into pieces.

Blaze has become too strong now. Normal B-ranks are no more than paper in front of his power.
The woman drops dead on the ground, motionless.
"Who the fuck reported the Wraith to be a marksman?!"
Anderson yells out in despair. He finds a secluded place to hide, then he pulls out a particular device.
A triangular piece of metal with a small, clear diamond embedded in its center.
Anderson sticks it on his chest, and immediately, a dark suit of armor materializes and covers him whole.
"I did not sign up for this!"
The skinny man with black vines for power sneakily retreats from the scene. He finds a window to climb out.
But suddenly, a large hand breaks through the window glass and grabs his face.
Hutton, the fusion of Hugo and Anton, barges through the cement wall.
The four wings Awakened holds the skinny man tightly in his palm.
Hutton clenches his finger. The skinny man screams in pain and swirls aimlessly, trying his best to get out of the hold.
But that effort is futile. Hutton’s physical prowess is much stronger than his.
The skinny man points his hand down to the ground. Black vines burst out with sharp tips and shoots at Hutton. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
Hutton opens his other palm, white energy envelops the black vines, causing them to move slowly like snails.
"What..."
The skinny man lets out his last words.
Hutton’s free arm turns into the grey, polishing color of iron. That hand turns into a sword, and Hutton pierces it right through the skinny man’s neck, then makes a horizontal cut to completely decapitate him.
The black vines on the ground writhe and wither.
Blaze zips through the scene again. He places the edge of his Karambit into his other palm and slightly slices it up.
The blood in his palm gets absorbed by the Karambit. Its blade turns bright red, the color of blood.
The yellow streak once again approaches the bald man.
He has no time to run, and Blaze is too fast for him to react. The only thing he can do is make another barrier using his power.
However, this time, the blade of the Karambit penetrates right through the pink energy.
The barrier breaks like glass, and Blaze steps on the bald man’s chest, dragging him on the ground for quite a few meters due to his pure motion.
Before the bald man can say anything, Blaze shoves the Karambit’s curved edge onto his jaw and pulls it out.
The lower half of the jaw completely detaches and flies away.
The bald man screams out in a weird, horrifying tone. His power shuts off and completely disappears.
Blaze aims his palm at the man’s head, and one deafening thunder later, he is now dead.
[You have gained 250 experience points!]
There are still more cops alive. Their will was broken by seeing their allies die off quickly.
The fight only began a few minutes and most of their forces are gone. The most powerful ones are dead, and the Sergeant is nowhere to be seen.
Gunshots echo one after another. Sebastian makes use of his position very well and snipes off the cops one by one.
But then, a heavy sound of metal touching the ground.
Blaze turns back to see Anderson, who is now wearing a full high-tech suit of armor with a diamond embedded on his chest.
Blaze tilts his head slightly.
"Iron Knight armor?"
"Heh. That’s right."
The two exchange a small conversation before shutting the hell up and focusing on the battle.
No one is in the mood to chit-chat when their lives are on the line.
Blaze dashes away again, disappearing from Anderson’s view.
"Calculating target maximum speed...
Analyze target attacking pattern...
Countermeasures are ready!"
An emotionless voice fills Anderson’s helmet.
Blaze comes in a blur, shoving the blade of the Karambit directly at Anderson.
Anderson pulls out a gun from the side of his waist. This gun is in full black and has a long barrel. Inside it, a Crisis Core is spinning nonstop, fueling its power.
A blue haze of energy shoots out just in time to stop Blaze in his tracks.
Its excessive force pushes Blaze’s back a few steps, causing him to stumble on his feet.
Even Blaze is surprised at the turn of events. He is in Lightning Ascension mode. His attributes are elevated to an insane amount.
But this gun was able to stop him.
Anderson smirks, wasting no time to continue firing. Waves of concentrated energy barrage Blaze, sending him flying away.
"Hurts, doesn’t it? This gun is powered by an A-rank Crisis Core.
You’re an A-rank, yeah? Now our chances are even."
