I Regenerate 10,000 Times Faster-Chapter 240: Killed In One Stike
"Fine, you win. You get to keep 70 percent of the items but I don't agree to you selecting the loot first."
"On one hand, I acknowledge your strength, you are without a doubt one of the strongest first year I've encountered.
But even then, it's not nearly enough for me give in to you. Moreover, you might have been the first to get here, it would entirely useless if you couldn't at least open the vault. If we chose to fight, there's no saying who would come out victorious but the entire loot would end up being destroyed by the aftermath of our battle regardless of who won."
Lara then paused, her eyes locked in on Tyrion's eyes with her heavy chest lifting up and down as she breathe, she continued. "I won't make things difficult for you. I get to chose one item first from the vault and then you can select your 70 percent as you want. This is my buttom line, if you still refuse to accept this, then we have no choice but to battle."
Her stern voice echoed through the quiet tension of room. But it did nothing to get rid of the tense atmosphere and even seem to increase it by a notch.
Tyrion's facial expression was stern, also staring back at Lara without backing down.
It was as though he wanted to see through her and read her thoughts to know what she was thinking. It was obvious she didn't want to compromise at all just now, but she suddenly changed her mind like a switch.
Moreover, with this new condition, it means there is something within the vault that she desperately wants and wouldn't back down for.
At first, Tyrion was only slightly curious, but the moment Lara compromised, he couldn't help but be even more curious. The item must be important to her and with her clear stance, she was even willing to destroy everything by transforming if Tyrion didn't agree.
From the things within the vault, apart from the Super-genes, Ores, the bank notes and the serum, the others were only mortal grade ornaments.
Things that are basically useless for titans to use. He didn't understand why Lara wanted to pick first.
Numerous thoughts flew rapidly through Tyrion's mind.
He suddenly relaxed his muscles and then smiled. "Fine, you can take first from the vault."
Lara's cold face seem to melt a little as she nodded, walking past Tyrion. With a little bang, she kicked the corpse of the chubby man aside. His entire body instantly exploded into meat paste, the shockwave splattering his remains on the wall of the other side of the room.
For her to do this, Lara's strength was definitely above normal and was really astonishing. With the support of her family, no one knows how many serum she would have ingested, increasing her strength to an astonishing amount.
She stopped the moments she arrived at the pile of ornaments that contained gold, diamond and other precious stones. Her body moved slightly in a way that instantly blocked Tyrion's sight. He wasn't able to see what she was reaching for.
This made Tyrion's eyes narrow and he let out a light scoof within his mind but strangely, he didn't do anything to pry and only waited with his hands in his black pant's pocket.
After a few seconds, Lara walked out, holding what seem to be a diamond in her hand, before Tyrion, she placed the piece of diamond within a peculiar dark box and closed it, placing it in her backpack.
Tyrion's heart skipped a beat as the system showed the information if the shine to him and his breathing seem to have gone violent, but he managed to control it, glancing toward Lara with a casual expression.
A slight smile appeared in Lara's face the moment she noticed the slight change in Tyrion's breathing pattern, but it was as though she hadn't noticed anything.
"It's your turn, chose your 70 percent and leave the rest to me."
Tyrion took back his gaze and went into the store. The first things he selected was the crate of Serums!
Secondly, the super cells. Two of the three Super gene were only a basic superorgan with the ability of atomic breath while the last was a Neutron Poison Gland which grants the user the ability to poison the surroundings depending on the strength of the user.
Thirdly, was the bank notes. No matter how rich he is now from selling Anti-regeneration Blade, Thunder beads and Impact Breaker, the total amount was barely enough to upgrade his nuclear talent by one grade therefore, he can never be too rich.
As he had selected all of this things, they already attributed to the 70 percent of the items within the vault. Not wanting to miss out on anything, Tyrion had used his system to comb through the pile of gold and diamond but didn't find another of the Evolution Crystal that Lara had selected.
The breadth of his back pack expanded to three meters. After organizing every thing within it, be clicked in a button and it immediately compressed back to its original size which is almost as tall as Tyrion.
"You sure know how to pick the good stuff." Although she said this, she wasn't at all annoyed as she stored a few items within her bag. She only selected Ores of great importance and ignoreed the others. Tyrion even doubted that she wouldn't have taken anything if not the fact that the Cosmic Ore is considered an important ore needed to create a legendary item.
"It's useless saying this when you've taken the most important item." Tyrion shrugged a reply in return.
"Since we are done here, I'm heading out." She walked a few steps forwards when she suddenly stopped. Giving Tyrion a sidelong glance, she spoke.
"How about the matter we spoke about? Have you given any thoughts to it?"
Tyrion's hands stroking the air he's machine stopped momentarily and then continued. "There's no need to rush, we still have a few days left. I will inform you once I make the decision."
Lara stared heavily at Tyrion and then nodding her head after a while. "Suit yourself. But I have to remind you, the others are not stupid, and would definitely figure out the true treasures of this city are not the titans, but the city itself. Time is treasure."
With that speech, she faded into an afterimage as she leapt upwards through the holes she had created on the ceiling when she tossed the vaults door.
Tyrion retracted his hand and stared at the hole for what seem to be a long while before removing his gaze. This was the first time his expression was extremely solemn!
Even when he was facing the third year senior, there wasn't a single trace of fear in his mind, but this girl with fluctuating power levels have him the chills.
It was as though the strength she exuded when she used the strength serum was her normal base strength while the strength she normally gave off was only a font! As though there was a raw majestic power well hidden within her body.
The waves overflowing from her seem to distort the air around her. If he weren't so sensitive, he would have definitely missed it.
He thought back at their conversation and a plan formed in his mind. After a careful, thorough and complex plan, Tyrion also exited the mansion.
Just as he walked out from the mansion's gate, he halted his steps.
Before him was a fellow first year student with sharp eyes and a confident and smart outlook that bordered on arrogance.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?"
The young man had a fiery red hair that seem like a ball of fire with the intensity of the radiation nearby. The moment the young man spotted Tyrion, he gave out a visibly frown as an intimidating wave of power exploded out from him, overflowing towards Tyrion and threatening to overwhelm him.
Tyrion raised an eyebrow at the pathetic show of strength. His mood wasn't all that great as he had just suffered a loss from a fellow student now this young man's attempt triggered him.
A creepy smile carved its way off his face as he tilted his head and blinked his eyes. Suddenly, his figure seem to fade away with the wind.
"An afterimage?" The young man's eyes constricted. Knowing himself, he knew his fastest speed couldn't create an afterimage even after using an agility serum which is why the moment he saw the afterimage fade away, his instincts kicked in.
He immediately drew out a knife, slicing his wrist to draw out blood. He wanted to immediately transform, taking his opponent by surprise!
"Ding!"
This sound instantly made the young man's eyes widen. The blade was stopped halfway by a metallic palm.
"Bang!" discover-stories-on-MVLeMpYr
His body shot backwards like a broken puppet, slamming into a nearby building. Seeing as there was no transformation
after that injury, it was safe to say the young man couldn't be anymore dead.
