I Reincarnated as the World's Worst Healer-Chapter 64: The Traitor Monk VS The Frost Ape (2)
Marcus, standing just a few meters away from the gigantic white ape and his goblin shaman, watched in horror as they hurled a low-ranking goblin soldier straight at his face.
In an instant, the small creature’s body exploded, releasing frost like a cloud of vapor.
The moment it touched the old soldier’s body, his skin began to freeze rapidly, that vile spell that used comrades as suicide bombs was meant to stun.
"(Damn it, I can’t move... My whole body’s frozen!)" Marcus thought in horror as his brother’s massive fist, the Frost Ape’s, rushed toward his face, ready to separate it from the rest of his body.
However, at that moment, a goblin was sent flying and intercepted the blow, taking the full impact. Even so, Marcus’s body was launched backward, crashing through the walls of a ruined house.
Seeing a goblin’s body crushed between his knuckles, the ape glanced toward the crowd. In the middle of the Frost Goblins stood Ebony, the one who had thrown the small creature.
The blonde girl, wearing a confident and mocking smile, began shouting at the top of her lungs to provoke her enemy and buy time for her unwanted ally.
"Hey, you miserable bastard, you’d better get that ass ready, because I’m going to—"
But before she could finish, the ape leapt into the air toward her, gathering icy magic within his body.

Like a meteor packed with pale blue magic, the ape descended, aiming both legs at the ground.
Seeing what was coming, Ebony began running at full speed, sweat forming on her forehead that instantly froze from the magic flooding the area.
When the ape’s body hit the ground, a tremendous crash shook the earth until it cracked, as spikes of ice burst from the ground, impaling everything around.
Two dozen slow and clumsy goblins lost their lives in that sea of spikes that spread across the entire plaza.
The ape began to laugh, breaking the ice around his feet that connected him to the frozen field of jagged spikes. Then he moved forward, searching for his prey, who was surely among the corpses.
But no matter how much he scanned the area, he found nothing, except for one broken spike among all the others that remained intact.
Suddenly, behind him, Ebony lunged forward, gripping the broken spike in her hands, a hole in her stomach rapidly closing as it healed.
The ape tried to react by raising his hand, but it was too late, the spike pierced through his palm and drove straight into his eye, bursting it instantly.
A heart-wrenching scream echoed throughout the hollow mountain. The ape began thrashing violently while Ebony released the spike, stepping back several paces and shouting in fury.
"You piece of shit ape! Let’s see if you stop showing off your damn strength now!"
The great primate managed to pull the frozen spike free. His palm had prevented it from reaching his brain, but now his eye dangled from the tip of the ice and blood stained his white fur.
With a mocking grin, Ebony assumed a fighting stance and waved her hand, daring her massive enemy to attack her.
But despite the pain and rage twisting his face, the ape chose to start running, he wanted to be healed by his shaman.
"Oh no you don’t! You came here to die, like it or not!" the blonde shouted, leaping onto the creature’s back, biting his ear and trying to wrap her arms around his neck to choke him.
But to her surprise, the creature’s neck was far too thick for her arms to encircle.
The ape thrashed from side to side, trying to shake her off, until with his uninjured hand he grabbed the girl’s arm and yanked her away.
Like a rag doll, he began slamming her against the frozen ground, shattering ice spikes and piercing the woman’s body.
Ebony screamed in pain as the ape continued smashing her over and over, but instead of surrendering, she screamed a single word at the top of her lungs, blood spraying from her lips.
"HEAL! HEAL! HEAL!"

Her body healed and was torn apart at the same time. With every impact, blood splattered across the ground and the ape’s fur.
Even the goblins still watching the fight stopped cheering or laughing at such a spectacle.
"Just die already! Why won’t you die?!" the great primate roared in frustration as he lifted the girl’s body, glowing with green light as it violently regenerated.
"Ha... What’s wrong? The little furball’s scared? You can’t even kill a girl, pathetic!" Ebony shouted, maintaining a mocking smile despite the pain driving her mad.
Hearing those words, the goblins began to laugh. Despite being of another race, that fiery female appealed to their brutal culture, challenging her enemy even at death’s door.
The great ape, hearing his own men seemingly start to cheer for his enemy, decided to end it.
"So badly want to die? Then die, monster! Let’s see if you’re still alive inside my stomach!" the enormous being said before opening his jaws, ready to devour her.
Instead of screaming for mercy or fearing for her life, Ebony grabbed the ape’s largest fangs, the ones that jutted from his lips like a boar’s tusks.
"Hey, I think you’re gonna need a dentist, you bastard..."
With a scream of pure rage, Ebony pulled on the enormous fangs with all her strength, ripping them straight from her enemy’s jaw.
Screaming in agony, the ape hurled her body against a stone house, which collapsed from the impact.
"My fangs!... You damn b-bitch!" the ape roared, covering his mouth with his good hand as blood poured out with every word.
At that moment, the goblin shaman emerged from among the ice spikes with difficulty, thanks to his magic he had created a shield that protected him from the expanding attack, though it had nearly doomed him to die trapped in the ice.
The small shaman approached the great ape and began chanting, using his staff topped with a bear claw.

From the goblin’s staff, snowflakes began to drift out, slowly floating toward the wounds in the ape’s eye and mouth, sealing them and accelerating his natural healing a hundredfold.
That spell was perfect for the ape, whose body could naturally regenerate at superhuman speeds, and with the shaman’s extra aid, it was only a matter of seconds before he was fully healed. His eye would not return, but his fangs would.
However, at that moment, from between the ruined houses, Marcus burst forth in a leap and, with a spear-like kick, pierced straight through the shaman, splitting him in two.
"Now we’re even, stupid brother!" Marcus shouted as he landed and immediately lunged at the ape, who roared and countered with a hook at the same time.
