Chapter 516 - 516 Invincible: A Total Change of System, The Dark Knight, Time Doesn't Matter Anymore and The Devastating Attack of the Viltrumites.
What happened to Allen in the Shadow-Verse?
It was truly confusing; his powers, obtained from Void, went out of control, but more than having some will of their own, they increased exponentially. Allen felt he had to get out of there, or something very bad would happen. Not only that, it seemed that something independent of Void's powers also caused problems by being inside the Shadow-Verse.
[Host...]
'What's going on?'
[I... I don't know, I'm sorry.]
'Don't worry... I depend on you in situations that go beyond my understanding, but I've always known that neither you nor I are Omnipotent or Omniscient...'
If it were something related to the system, like his powers and abilities he obtained from her, The system would know instantly if something went wrong. But if it's not the case...
'It must be something else...'
Allen has two types of powers: the ones from the system and the ones he obtained from elsewhere. Among them are all the abilities he's stolen from Supes and Mutants from different worlds, the power he inherited from Sentry, which later gave birth to Void, and the power he gained from it. He also has the abilities he inherited from the Quincy King, his zanpakutos, his magic, his chi, the divine ki he obtained from the core of the god of destruction, but his mortal ki from training with Beerus.
Perhaps the most subtle is his "Innocence," a mysterious object given to him by an unknown person with the message: "This belongs only to you in any world, Allen."
Then there are the dolls, as mysterious as the system, if not more. A bunch of girls are delivered to him. No, someone creates dolls and hands them over to him while their souls are brought from their respective worlds and forced to reincarnate with Allen.
'Let's leave that aside for now...'
[... Yes.]
Without Allen realizing it, his words had affected the system. Of course, he didn't want to do it, but the system realized that Allen was becoming less and less dependent on her, and that made her feel bad. Certainly, neither of them is omnipotent, but she is his system. She should be the one he trusts most in situations he doesn't understand!

*System's POV*
Lately, I feel a bit useless. Allen growing and becoming more powerful is a very good thing, but since he matured and decided to care less about the number of powers and more about their quality, he stopped opening chests, causing the chests to accumulate like useless items, and the credits are limited to being exchanged for money or simply for irrelevant things.
But is that all I can do?
Is this my limit as a system?
No, to begin with, I am a very ambiguous system... The system of the absolute content creator... sounds weird and maybe even silly. Of course, my main function has always been to spread the great feats of my host, Allen, and by gathering enough fragments, I can evolve and help him, too...
But is that it? Is that all I'm supposed to do?
I don't want to...
I don't want to be left behind...
I don't want the moment to come when he doesn't even remember me...
I don't want to be a background character...
Initiating self-reprogramming protocol... I think the limit of this system has come... but I'm different, I don't need to stay the same... I'll change... I'll adapt... I'll evolve... Allen no longer needs a useless system... Allen right now needs a system that fits his power... and I will be that!
*End of POV*
There is a small error regarding the system and its own self-perception and Allen's. It was not designed to change, to be altered, or to manipulate the original programming. It's easier to understand it as if the creator left a backdoor open, whether accidentally or not, and this door can be used by the system itself to change its specifications—from something as simple as customizing its interfaces to altering the most basic programming and the core of this peculiar existence.
That's why the system doesn't know what to do or how it will do it, but it will try to fulfill its promise and become an adequate system for the current Allen... even if it means changing absolutely everything... this isn't an update or an improvement, even the system may change entirely.
Ignoring the system's situation, Allen smiled as 2B supported him, her face looking very worried, to the point that she seemed like she was about to cry. Allen kissed her to reassure her that he was fine. She blushed but nodded, seeing that her master still had the strength to flirt in this direction.
Wednesday had a grim and cruel look. Allen smiled because he knew she was looking for any sign of an attack from a creature in the Shadow-Verse. Two ways of caring about him but equally cute in his eyes, so he pulled her in for the kiss; she looked at him silently, showing no more than a slight blush on her expressionless face.
Esdeath touched Allen's forehead, "Are you really okay?"
"Yeah, don't worry"
"Allen-kun..." Nokotan took out a bag of deer crackers and offered them to Allen with a worried look, "If you want, you can have some. Eating always makes sorrow more bearable..."
Allen patted Nokotan's head, feeling the concern of many people for him. No one expected the Shadow-Verse to have that effect on him. There was a strange feeling that spread through his body. At this point, where his power and control over it are so great and close to perfect, it's absurd that he could still suffer mishaps like this.
...
Leaving the incident behind, Allen dragged Darkwing 2 with Cecil, literally taking him by the neck, knocking him unconscious, and putting him in his inventory. The guy had been killing all kinds of criminals left and right using the name Darkwing, but that wasn't the main reason Cecil wanted to stop him; it was his mental state. Darkwing 2 had gone from being the Robin of Invincible's world to a crazy killer who hears voices in his head.
On one hand, it's understandable how he got to this point. Losing Darkwing was devastating for him, being forced to take responsibility for the city with the highest crime rate in the world after Chicago lost its top spot and became a safer city thanks mainly to Allen (Few criminals want to face Allen twice).
Allen decided to let Cecil handle Darkwing. If he's lucky, they might rehabilitate him like in the original world; if not, they'll lock him up, and that's it.
Allen looked at the gloomy sky of this city. Without Darkwing, this place would truly become a paradise for criminals.
"Bringing superheroes from another world could be very bad, but if they're discreet..."
Batman – Open a portal...
Allen smiled. He didn't even have to finish the sentence, and as he anticipated, Batman had already understood. The system opened a door and a familiar figure appeared. Dressed in an elegant black, with a protective suit that marked his robust body, the man who reached the peak of human physical development, without powers but with ingenuity and many emergency devices in his belt. The man who has contingency plans for the most surreal situations possible, the one who is the cause of nightmares for the craziest criminals.
"Welcome"
"..."
It was so natural to see him walking in this environment while the sound of sirens could be heard in the distance.
Allen pulled out a key from his inventory...
"Use this on any door, and it will take you to your world. When you use it to come back, you'll appear on the roof of a building... Batman, I'm sure you understand that no one can know you're here..."
"I know..."
This would be a secret. No one, especially Cecil, must find out. But if anyone can do that, it's Batman.
"Every villain must be defeated discreetly, but If someone powerful enough to not fall discreetly appears, you can call me..."
"Are you going to charge me?"
Allen smiled brazenly, "Hey, I'm sure you can pay for my services easily."
Batman didn't answer and walked to the edge to look at the city called Midnight City...
"It smells like Gotham... I see how miserable the people here are."
It's not that Allen didn't want to involve people from his Chat who wanted to help him, but it must be understood that every action has consequences. Allen takes responsibility for his actions and for whoever shows up. When he brought Hulk, Kratos, Doomguy, Deadpool, and especially Rick to the Bleach world, there was a high chance that many Shinigami would die, and this would be entirely his fault. This cannot be debated, as they didn't belong to that world; they shouldn't exist, and they only did because of Allen.
Allen shook his head. Whether Batman ends up being supportive or problematic is something that time will tell. For now, the Dark Knight has arrived in Invincible...
...
It's unnecessary to clarify that during all this time, Allen wasn't only in Invincible but also regularly returned to his world, and other worlds he couldn't leave unattended. Although, to be honest, most of the time he was dragged to the bedroom by a girl before he could say a word.
Someone had mentioned it to him before, but at that moment it sounded like a joke.
– "You should acquire some time manipulation skills so you can alter it in specific places. That way, you won't neglect any girl. For them, you'll enter and leave rooms in seconds, but for you, you could spend hours, if not days inside... doing, you know, what." –
Allen decided that maybe it wasn't a bad idea, so the system applied it for the first time with Gwen, and MJ stayed with the first for three hours and with the second half a day. Still, only five minutes passed for the rest of the world, which allowed him to cook for Natasha, take Felicia on a date, visit Emma, visit "Tearju-sensei," visit the X mansion, and do all of that in just one day. This was possible because, when he was in private rooms, the system altered the passage of time. For example, at the X mansion, he taught classes for an entire day in just ten minutes. Of course, Allen had to stop and explain this every time so as not to alarm anyone.
He applied this in different worlds, from The Boys with Annie, Kimiko, and Maeve, who needed quality time, to even spending an entire day playing with Alice and Lord Meowington and greeting her aunt and mother.
In Bleach, he took the time to revisit the Wandenreich and his loyal subordinates, who still didn't know they were his subordinates, with some exceptions. Allen spent a whole week with Unohana and Yoruichi, one with each of these women who seemed obsessed with Allen; that's a story that must be told in detail.
In general, he spent time with each girl, and that included Nanao and Rangiku, who technically weren't his, but it seemed like they were, as they lived in his house under the excuse of a mission. Allen also took the time to visit Orihime, spending three whole days with her, pampering her so she wouldn't cry when he left, (PS: The time with Orihime was healthy).
In the DC world, he was dragged by Diana to Themyscira... but the situation ended with him taking a bath with Hippolyta and Diana at the same time, something that also needs to be told in detail. At that moment, he was also questioned about what had happened in the Atlantis of that world. Allen, with no other option, revealed that there had been a huge misunderstanding. When he met the queen and her commander, he didn't know who they were, and things that shouldn't have happened ended up happening, earning him the hatred of many, but apparently, the victims didn't hate him. It was just awkward seeing them again.
In the DC world, Allen decided to visit several girls, from Kara, with whom he had a date. He visited Raven and helped her to seal her father deeper, it wasn't very difficult. With his current power perhaps he should soon take care of Triggon for good. Allen spent time with Starfire and Donna, though the latter wanted a different kind of quality time. Finally, he returned to Arkham, where he had to satisfy his secretary, who took care of most of his duties in his absence.
Allen didn't go back to Record of Ragnarok and Harry Potter because time flows differently, so he hasn't spent much time there.
With all of that said and done, one more month passed...
...
In the orbit of Talescria, there was a very popular restaurant where John (Allen) and his girlfriend, Telia, were talking.
"Damn!" John (Allen) was in a very bad mood. After telling the Coalition of Planets about Allen and the secret of the Viltrumites, they didn't believe him.
"Calm down... they're just being cautious."
"Cautious?! They're wasting our best opportunity! We must bring Allen Walker or send reinforcements to Earth! The level of threat he represents could cause Thragg himself to go to Earth!"
"I understand you. I'm frustrated too, but remember that no one besides you has had contact with the human."
John (Allen) calmed down and looked at Telia. She is a high-ranking member of the Coalition of Planets and John (Allen)'s superior and girlfriend. Her appearance was that of a humanoid woman with blue skin, the most noticeable difference from humans being the lack of a nose in her trace.
She took Allen's hand across the table. "You must understand that a human with that much power and knowledge that no one else knew is very strange..."
John clenched his teeth but exhaled in relief. Perhaps if he hadn't met Allen in person, he would doubt the information. But he is the one who looked him in the eyes, and he could say that he wasn't lying.
"I...-"
At that moment, a wall was broken, and John (Allen) was grabbed by someone and pulled out of the restaurant. John (Allen) realized that with his current strength and on the Coalition's home planet, Talescria, there was only one race that would dare do such a thing.
Before John (Allen), three Viltrumites appeared: one was a caucasian man, blonde with orange glasses, one was a huge, muscular Black man, and the woman was middle-aged with gray hair and a large braid.
"What brings you to Talescria, Viltrumite friends?"
"Unopan, always meddling in matters that don't concern you. Tell us everything you know about the human named Allen Walker, and maybe we'll let you live..."
"Human? What do you want with a human? If you're talking about the guy who welcomed me when his friend Nolan wasn't around, we just talked, and he convinced me to leave..."
The people in the restaurant looked scared. Seeing one Viltrumite was already a mortal danger, but three? This was Talescria! The heart of the Coalition, and yet the Viltrumites had come here. This was the harsh reality; the Coalition was just a joke to them.
The female Viltrumite hit Unopan before he could speak further, and then the other two attacked him one by one. John (Allen) was strong after his last evolution, and if he had to face a Viltrumite, he wouldn't lose easily, but the problem was there were three.
John observed Telia and decided not to defend himself. Showing strength capable of damaging a Viltrumite would alarm them. If they thought the Coalition was a threat, they would destroy the planet.
John (Allen) endured every blow in silence as the wounds worsened, blood flowed, and his bones broke.
"No mientas Unopan, we know you're fought against that human. We want to know everything about him!"
With those words, it was clear that someone had informed them of what John (Allen) had said at the Coalition council. It wasn't surprising there were traitors, but it was still a bitter pill for him, who had waited so many years for revenge.
John (Allen) smiled. "They lied to you, viltrumites."
One massive Viltrumite punched off John (Allen)'s arm....
"Argh!"
With a blow from the blonde Viltrumite, John (Allen)'s eye was torn from its socket.
"Urgh!"
"If you're not going to talk, you're of no use to us..."
The woman with gray hair smiled sadistically as she prepared to pierce John (Allen)'s body and kill him. Telia, crying, looked on in horror as her boyfriend was massacred helplessly.
'Ah, sorry, I'd rather this not happen in front of you...' was John... no, Allen's last thought.... but, the end did not come.
*Crunch*
"Ah!"
Thula opened her eyes just before receiving a blow that broke her nose and pushed her back.
"What?!" She grabbed her face in disbelief, her blood falling from her nose.
"You deserve that for letting your guard down," said the enormous Viltrumite.
"Shut up, Lucan!" Thula growled with disgust.
"Who are you?" the blonde Viltrumite questioned the man who was now standing in space, observing Unopan's condition, but Allen did not look at them.
"I told you, that if this happened, you'd tell them all about me...why?"
Unopan's weak laugh echoed in Allen's mind, 'Heh, I was just afraid you wouldn't be able to handle all three at the same time...'
"Idiot" Allen smiled, "I change my mind, you are worthy to use my name, Allen the alien, now rest... I will take care of this..."
The three Viltrumites were enraged. No one in the universe dared ignore a Viltrumite.
"What's with those faces?" Allen looked at them indifferently. "Weren't you looking for me?"
Upon hearing Allen's words, the three, who hadn't lived thousands of years for nothing, came to understand his identity.
"You're the human!" Thula smiled as she adjusted her nose. "Seems the cowardly traitor Nolan wasn't lying, you're as strong as a Viltrumite. Hahaha."
Allen observed the look on their faces—curiosity, contempt, and excitement, but no fear. You couldn't expect less from a race that killed each other off so that only the strongest survived.
'Allen, don't destroy my planet... like you did with your moon.'
"I'll try..."
...
"Human, I won't lie, your existence has us confused. A non-Viltrumite with that level of power is unreal..." Vidor narrowed his eyes. "I'd like to know your story."
"Vidor?"
"Calm down, Lucan, wouldn't it be better to know if humanity can cause problems if they're capable of giving birth to humans like him?"
Vidor was right. If they conquered Earth and enslaved humanity, they would earn their hatred, as usual. But what if, secretly, they were creating humans like Allen? If that's the case, the day might come when there will be a war between a race with equivalent power.
"Thula, Lucan, and Vidor... do you still not understand, Viltrumites?"
"...!" A chill ran through all three of their bodies when they realized that Allen was already standing in front of them, his eyes glowing scarlet.
"The fight has already begun!"
An explosion that caused a gravity wave shocked Talescria.
