I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra-Chapter 154
Chapter 154: Chapter 154
With urgency, I sprinted towards the chest, my heart pounding. I flung the lid open and gasped at the sight of a bow and a quiver filled with arrows. I was skeptical for a moment, but the system’s screen flashed before me.
[CHARACTER UPDATE! The original Remillia Lockhart’s talent was archery. You can try using it since your body still remembers how to wield a bow and arrow.]
If I had known in the first place that the real Remillia could use a bow, I would have picked this as my weapon! I wanted to ask more about Remillia.
Just then, the blindfold was whipped away, and I was met with a rain of ice spikes rushing towards me. ’Whoever my savior is, please help me!’ I thought, narrowly dodging the sharp projectiles.
To my relief, as the ice spikes struck, they melted into water upon contact with me, likely due to the sudden increase in temperature around us. I took a quick breath to steady myself, but that was short-lived.
Swoosh!
An arrow whizzed past, grazing the side of my face as I spotted Lukas grinning at me, bow drawn.
"I’m surprised you’re still standing after all those obstructive spells," he taunted, a smug smile plastered on his face that only fueled my irritation.
"Don’t you know your cousin is up there? Are you going to go say hi after this?" I retorted, trying to provoke him back.
"Hmm? Why are you suddenly bringing him to our conversation?" He was playing innocent, but that sly smirk betrayed him This son of a b!tch definitely knew what was going on.
"Your cousin keeps harassing me just to save your sorry @ss," I shot back defiantly.
"Are you making excuses because you think you’re going to lose? Let me do the honors to eliminate you instead," he sneered, an arrow aiming dangerously at me.
I prepared myself to dodge as he released the arrow, but suddenly, a sand golem erupted from beneath the ground, absorbing the arrow’s hit. The golem turned its attention towards Lukas, and I could see the color drain from his face.
Before he could react, a blindfold was quickly thrown back over our eyes. The golem lunged at Lukas, hurling him away from his position, its sandy fists raised in anger.
I couldn’t help but laugh as I saw Lukas go flying to the other side. "You deserve that, @sshole!" I yelled, only to immediately regret my words when the sand golem swung around, its attention now focused full force on me.
The golem stomped towards me, each step causing the ground to tremble. I glanced around, hoping desperately that my mysterious benefactor would do something to help me again.
However, every time my savior attempted to destroy the golem, Yohan seemed to intervene, deliberately blocking their attempts as the sand golem continued to close the distance.
I grabbed another arrow, my hands shaking slightly. As I drew the bowstring back, anxiety flooded my senses. My first shots had failed to reach the golem—would this one be any different? "Oh sh!t... oh sh!t..." I muttered to myself, trying to gather my thoughts. I don’t have my daggers with me and I’m tempted to use my Arcanum.
Pulling another arrow from the quiver, I took a deep breath and activated my skill, ’Daedru Dagger’. I wasn’t sure how it would interact with my arrow, but this is the last thing that could save me.
I pulled the string back once more and aimed with steadiness as the golem trudged into an acceptable range.
With a swift release, I launched the arrow, watching as it flew towards the sand golem. A trail of white light followed the arrow, illuminating the dim arena, and the arrow struck the golem squarely at its heart.
In the next second, the sand golem exploded into a cloud of particles, the gritty remnants spraying in every direction. I raised my arm to shield my face, squinting through the haze but I quickly regained my focus, scanning for any chests in hopes of finding a different type of weapon. Instead, I was greeted with more long-range weapons.
’That motherf*cker Yohan. He definitely rigged this competition!’ My frustration simmered as I realized I had no choice but to adapt. Defeating Lukas was the only way to end this madness, and I needed to step up my game with the bow and arrow I had learned to wield.
As soon as my blindfold got removed, I immediately began hunting down Lukas, sensing that my chance to take him out was slipping away.
Yohan was doing everything in his power to slow me down—making the ground lava which my savior turn it into ice, snakes rained down from above but my savior turned them into gummy snakes, and Yohan even deliberately made the air around me poisonous, too bad I’m already immune to any kinds of poison. This only means that his spoiled cousin, Lukas got hit pretty bad by the sand golem.
I could tell my mysterious savior was watching closely, ready to intervene if things turned serious. It seemed they knew my skills well enough to act when I truly needed assistance, and right now, I felt I could hold my own—at least for the time being.
Through the calamity, Yohan and my savior was making, I spotted a figure limping away from me. "Lukas! Get your scaredy @ss back here and face me!" I shouted, a mix of taunting and challenge filled my tone, and I could see him pause, glancing over his shoulder at me.
He turned his body slightly, and even from a distance, I noticed the irritation etched on his face as he collected his thoughts. "You think you can take me on? You’re nothing without your stupid daggers!" he spat back.
"Yeah? Well, without your cousin’s interference, you’re just a regular archer," I shot, trying to provoke him further while snapping the arrows in to two and collecting the arrow heads.
Lukas narrowed his eyes, pulling another arrow from his quiver and placing it against his bowstring. I steadied myself, adrenaline sharpening my focus. "You don’t even know how to use a bow!" he shouted at me, venom dripping from his words as he released the arrow.
In that instant, I activated my Spectral Seal. I dashed forward, determined to close the distance between us.
But Lukas was also quick to act as he quickly unleashed a storm of arrows. "Dumb witch! You think you can approach me? A close combatant like you? Hahaha!" he taunted, his laughter echoing around us.
I didn’t care if his arrows struck me, I focused solely on him and once I was close to him, I crouched down and used the arrowhead to slash his legs.
He let out a pained gasp, his eyes widening in shock as he stumbled backward, struggling to regain his balance. "H-how did you get here—?! Casting m-magic isn’t allowed!" he stammered, clearly rattled by my unexpected agility.
I smirked at him. "I would have already been electrocuted until I got eliminated but I’m still perfectly fine though?" I shot back
"You cheating b!tch—" he muttered but I cut him off.
"You and your cousin started it first @sshole," I quickly stabbed him multiple times until the protection guard he’s wearing buzzed loudly.
Suddenly, the loudspeaker blasted to life, reverberating across the stadium. "The champion for the Academy Class Festival Category: Shadow Brawl is Remillia Lockhart!"
I stepped back, breathing heavily as I looked at Lukas badly beaten. "Guess you underestimated me," I quipped, shooting Lukas a final smirk as I turned to exit the stadium.

The cheers of the audience surged like a wave, swelling with excitement and awe as they celebrated Remillia’s victory. Students exchanged glances, buzzing with energy, their chatter filled with admiration for her quick thinking and adaptability.
They all knew her as a close to mid-range combatant, but her skill in using the bow and arrow against the sand golem had left them speechless. To make it explode with one well-aimed shot showcased a level of creativity that few could match.
Then came her speed. To the ordinary eye, it might have looked like a simple dash, but every student in the crowd had seen it clearly. Remillia moved like a streak of lightning, outpacing the rain of arrows Lukas fired with wild abandon. It was a stunning display of agility, particularly considering that both combatants had been wearing protection guards.
When the protection guard senses that the user is using any kind of magical ability, it would send intense electric shots that would incapacitate anyone who used magical abilities while using a protection guard. The protection mechanism was designed to punish any use of magic, however Remillia didn’t even use a single ounce of her magic ability.
As such, the students could hardly believe that Remillia could run that fast especially if her gift wasn’t super speed.
The last thing that amazed them more was that she senselessly beat up Lukas until he fainted. Everyone also knows that Lukas’ cousin, Elder Mage Yohan Bediah is here. She was bold enough to send Lukas in that condition.
The students whispered to each other.
"It seems that her temper hasn’t changed," one student remarked, shaking their head in disbelief.
"Since their fight, almost all kinds of obstructive spells were aimed at her," another added, remembering the trials she had faced throughout the match.
"Everyone would get angry considering how this fight of hers was obviously rigged," a third student noted. The murmurs of agreement filled the air, as they recalled how Lukas had relied on his cousin’s interference to gain an advantage, only to be outmatched by someone he had underestimated. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
"You’re right. Almost all of the chests contained long-ranged weapons, which Remillia can’t use considering she’s a close-combat fighter," another student chimed in.
"In the end, she made use of a weapon to fit her combat style," someone concluded, remembering how she snapped the arrowhead and use it like her signature daggers.
"Agreed," the group echoed, nodding in acknowledgment of Remillia’s creativity.
