I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra-Chapter 202
Chapter 202: Chapter 202
After the credits rolled, everyone was buzzing with excitement. "Let’s hit the arcade next!" Whitney suggested, eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.
I hesitated, rubbing the back of my neck. "Uh, I think I’ll pass this time," I started to say, but before I could finish, they all grabbed my arms, practically dragging me along.
"Come on, you can’t just sit out," Christian grinned, pulling me towards the door. "It’ll be fun!"
Reluctantly, I gave in, and soon we were laughing and competing at the claw machines, racing each other in racing games, and trying to beat high scores on the arcade cabinets. For a while, I was right there with them, caught up in the fun.
But as the hours went by, my eyelids start to get heavy. They didn’t seem to tire, bouncing from game to game with endless energy. I wondered if I was older than them mentally, or maybe just more exhausted.
I found myself acting like the "mother hen," watching over my friends as they played, making sure everyone was having a good time, and quietly checking that no one was overdoing it.
As I leaned against the wall, watching them laugh and compete, I couldn’t help but smile. ’Being young sure is fun,’ I thought as I quietly slipped away from the others, careful not to draw attention.
It was already night time when I quietly slipped away from the others, careful not to draw attention. Once I was outside the mall, I pulled out my phone and sent a quick message in our group chat: "Already gone home. See you all tomorrow!"
Almost immediately, the notifications began pinging nonstop—messages flooding in from everyone, asking where I was, if I was okay, and teasing me about leaving early. I sighed, chuckling to myself, then turned off notifications and put my phone on silent for the next hour, giving myself a much-needed break.
Feeling a bit hungry after the long day, I decided to swing by the nearest food shop. I ordered a variety of snacks—some sweet, some savory—to share with Glacier and Macaron later.
With bags in hand, I made my way back to the academy, walking alone under the quiet night sky. Once I reached my dorm, I quietly slipped inside, closing the door behind me.
Sure enough, Macaron and Glacier were already waiting at the door. I reached into my bag and handed Macaron some sweet pastries, while offering Glacier a large steak. They both eagerly took their portions, their eyes lighting up as they enjoyed the treats. I watched them quietly, a gentle smile on my face, feeling a warmth in my chest.
My gaze settled on Glacier, and a bittersweet thought crossed my mind. This would be the last night I spent with him before leaving him at his sanctuary tomorrow. A pang of sadness hit me, but I pushed it aside, savoring the moment. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
As I looked at Glacier, a strange memory flickered. I suddenly recalled the code name Kairos had given me—’Tigris.’ Do I really look like a tiger? Or is it because he just named me that because of Glacier The thought made me smile faintly, lost in my musings.
Suddenly, my smartwatch beeped, breaking the moment. I glanced at the screen to see a new message blinking.

Attention Wandering Club Members!
We’ll be going to a festival in Hilde this Saturday. Reply to this message as soon as possible.

I frowned, considering the message. To be honest, the Wandering Club members always seem to get into trouble whenever we go out. I quickly tapped my reply: "I’ll be joining."

Wednesday
After class ended, I retreated to my room, feeling the weight of the upcoming departure. I knelt beside Glacier, gently playing with his fur, savoring the fleeting moment.
"Be good once I leave you in your home, okay?" I whispered softly as I caressed his fur. It was cold and soothing at the same time.
Glacier seemed to understand, letting out a low groan of protest and avoiding my touch as he sat a short distance away. I sighed, approaching him carefully.
"Oh come on, Glacier," I coaxed, trying to keep my tone light. "You’re not safe here."
He growled softly, then turned his back to me. I scratched my head, feeling a mix of frustration and affection.
"What would happen if you grow into your adult form?" I wondered aloud, glancing at him. "You’re still just a cub, and you’re already this big."
Glacier growled again, but this time, he peeked at me with the most adorable puppy dog eyes.
"No!" I quickly shook my head, trying to hold my ground. It was working—he was clearly trying to persuade me—but I stood firm. "I promise to visit you when I can. I’ll release you into your sanctuary as soon as I become a hero and let you roam by my side."
Glacier whined softly, but then he lowered his head onto my hands, trusting me.
"Good boy," I whispered, gently caressing his head. "Macaron will teleport you to your sanctuary, okay?" I looked at Macaron, who flapped his wings in agreement. "I’ll mindlink you once I arrive."
"Okay," Macaron replied softly, wings fluttering as he prepared for teleportation.
I took a deep breath, feeling the bittersweet ache of parting, knowing I had to leave Glacier behind for now.

I was already inside the sanctuary, the familiar cold air wrapping around me as I took a breath. The space was a marvel—an icy haven with a ceiling made of the hardest glass, allowing the bright sunlight to pour in without melting the frost within. The temperature was carefully monitored 24/7, ensuring the environment stayed perfect for the winter beasts and plants that thrived here. I took a moment to appreciate the lush Coldfire Evergreen, Snowcap Moss, Winterveil Fern, and Blizzardberry trees, all thriving in this pristine habitat.
’Macaron, you can come here now,’ I mindlinked him softly.
In an instant, Macaron, in his enormous form, suddenly appeared, carrying Glacier gently in his claws. The frost beast stepped down carefully, eyes scanning the surroundings.
Glacier looked around, his gaze lingering on the icy landscape and the winter flora. I anticipated a spark of happiness or relief—perhaps a wag of his tail or a playful bounce—but he only remained beside me, not taking a single step forward. His eyes were fixed on me, full of quiet longing and perhaps confusion.
My heart ached a little at his hesitation. I reached out, gently ruffling his fur.
"Go ahead, boy," I whispered softly. "This is your home now. You belong here."
Glacier whined, his large eyes never leaving mine. A single, hesitant step, then another, brought him closer to the snowy path. He lingered, his body still trembling slightly.
"I promise to visit you every weekend," I said, giving him a reassuring pat on his head.
He hesitated a moment longer, then slowly began to walk down the snowy path, his tail swishing softly.
I watched him for a moment, my heart aching slightly. I didn’t want him to see me leaving. "Macaron, let’s go," I said, my voice barely a whisper. He immediately flew to my shoulder, and I felt a knot of anxiety tighten in my chest.
"Are you sure leaving him here is okay with you, master?" Macaron asked.
"Are you sure leaving him here is okay with you, master?" Macaron asked, his voice low and concerned.
"Yes," I managed to say, but the words felt hollow. I really didn’t want to leave him.
That night, I tossed and turned in my bed. Thoughts of Glacier, alone in his new home, plagued my mind. Images of him wandering the paths, missing me, kept me awake. I couldn’t shake the feeling of guilt.
I was already dozing off when suddenly, a set of large, razor sharp teeth seemed to engulf my entire vision, jolting me awake with a start.
"Aaack!" I yelped, sitting bolt upright in bed. My heart was pounding, and I realized I must be stressed out. Honestly, I’d rather watch TV than try to get more sleep now.
I reached over and turned on the TV, about to switch the channel when my mouth hung open in disbelief.
"Breaking news! As of 11:54 P.M., a young Frostbane was spotted on Luna Street, Monfort!" the reporter announced, the camera cutting to footage of Glacier running amok in the city. He looked so lost, so scared—trapped in a strange, unfamiliar place.
"Reports are still ongoing as to how a recently extinct beast managed to roam the streets of Monfort! Currently, heroes are dispatched and struggling to catch it. Does this mean there’s a chance to repopulate Frostbane beasts?" the reporter continued.
My stomach twisted. Without thinking, I quickly woke Macaron up. "Macaron, wake up! We need to go somewhere else—now!"
"It’s the middle of the night, master..." Macaron mumbled groggily. "What did you do again?"
"Glacier’s in danger!" I said urgently. "We can’t just sit here."
Macaron’s eyes snapped open, and he sat upright, worry creasing his face. "This is what I’ve been dreading! I should have trusted my instincts! Why did you even let him stay there?"
"I thought it was better for him to stay in the sanctuary," I replied, frustration lacing my voice. "Stop scolding me and just transform already!"
Macaron began to glow softly, preparing to shift forms, when suddenly, a swirling blue vortex appeared right above us.
"Umm, Macaron? Did you just do that?" I asked, pointing at the strange portal.
"No," Macaron shook his head, eyes wide. "What about you?" he asked, glancing at me.
I also shook my head, confusion and alarm rising in my chest.
We were staring at it dazed, when a large, furry body appeared through the center of the clearing and dropped heavily onto us.
"Oof!" I groaned, and so did Macaron. I tried to push the body away, but it was immense, impossibly heavy. A large tongue, rough and surprisingly cold, then licked my face.
I froze, a gasp catching in my throat. "Glacier?"
