I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 116: Plan in Action?
The Beetle crawled through the entrance once again with newfound fury. It stared maliciously at the stone golem with chattering jaws.
Lillian clung to one of its legs and watched as the golem began to shudder. Its stiff body, which was covered in a cloak of moss, had risen again.
She then watched as the outer edges of the viridian gem embedded in its face began to glow. The light then began moving towards the deep centre of it.
And then suddenly...
BZZT...!
A startling beam of green light shot from its crystalline eye. Despite the powerful force behind the ray, the Beetle did not back down in the face of it.
With an unwavering sway of its horn, it slammed it against the viridian beam, scattering and causing it to refract.
Lillian clung tightly against its leg, watching as the ray webbed out around them, colliding with the wall and—
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
—causing parts of it to crumble.
SKRRRRR!
The legs of the Beetle dug into the stone ground, scraping and leaving long, shallow, and jagged etches.
The beam continued to bash against its horn ruthlessly, continuously pushing it back to the point where its back legs reached the edges of the entrance.
However, despite this setback, the Beetle remained steadfast in resisting the consistent pressure forced against its horn.
It raised one of its front legs and stabbed it into the ground, pulling it forward before doing the same with the other. Eventually, every single one of its legs began to move forward.
Lillian breathed a sigh of relief. She then noticed something about the refracted rays around them: they became slimmer, much narrower than before.
She turned back towards the golem. The gem that powered its existence had become dimmer. Not only that, but the beam had lost most of its power.
Soon enough, the beam eventually lost its glamorous form and became a pathetic shell of it.
The golem ceased its radiant attack.
However, in the split second that it did, the Beetle had charged with explosive speed, crashing into its body and piercing through its chest.
The rageful Beetle stared up with dark satisfaction at the skewered stone statue. But it eventually lost its glint once it saw the gem in its face staring down at it—still glowing.
The golem wrapped its crude but thick fingers around the black curved spire piercing through its chest before tugging at it.
The Beetle felt its body being forced back before being tilted over.
The golem twisted its upper body around and slammed the Beetle onto its back.
THUD!
The ground underneath the heavy Beetle cracked, webbing out into thick and jagged lines.
The Beetle's legs twitched and ran through the air like a defenceless crab, especially so when its weakness—its exposed underside—was revealed.
The golem grabbed one of its wriggling legs, breaking it off and tossing it to the side, eliciting a pain-filled and horrific screech.
The source of this c𝐨ntent is freeweɓnovēl.coɱ.
Fortunately for the golem, it couldn't hear this ear-bleeding cry. But because of that, it didn't notice a dark odachi cleaving through its stretched-out arm.
THUD!
The arm fell with a resounding thud, crumbling and falling apart once disconnected from its body.
A large dust cloud arose from this, hiding a small humanoid entity that was the owner of the black blade.
It turned its gaze towards its surroundings. Once unsuccessful in tracking down the assailant, it raised its remaining arm and swiped away the cloud.
After doing this, it noticed that the flipped body of the Beetle had vanished. And so did its dismembered limb.
The blood trail of its flight still remained, but still—where did it go?
That was until—
BOOM!
—an unpredictable object mercilessly slammed against its side. It was knocked a metre to the side, quickly regaining its balance before glancing at the attacker.
It noticed a familiar dark horn before leading it back to a familiar human-like face of the Beetle.
The human-like face that had shifted to a hot, and furious red as blood leaked from its stump.
Its expression then shifted to one of pain as the golem turned its upper body and whipped its fist into its side.
BOOM!
The swing let out a resounding sound. Although the Beetle's black shell did not falter and bend against the attack, that wasn't to say it absorbed it fully.
The Beetle's segmented body formed a 'U' as it was knocked to the side once more.
Just as the golem was about to deliver another devastating strike—a speeding object smashed against its face, specifically its crystalline eye.
What seemed to be water dripped over its face. It then turned its head towards the source before being bombarded with more.
Spears made of water collided against its stone body, leaving shallow scratches but none on its eye.
It was left briefly distracted and had even changed its course of focus to a white-haired woman.
Thud...! Thud...! Thud...!
Its thunderous and rigid steps left imprints on the partially moss-covered ground.
Lillian watched as it approached with a slight smirk. She lowered the hand she used to aim and said:
"Oi. What are you looking over here for~? I'm not the most dangerous one here, y'know."
As though it understood her, it paused dead in its tracks before looking over towards the Beetle, who had rammed into its side once more.
However, this time, the damage that was caused was several fold more compared to before. Cracks formed from its side that stretched across its body, causing it to shatter and crumble like an ice statue.
The Beetle shook its head, shrugging off the dust before letting out a distorted cackle. It did this until the rubble underneath its legs shook and trembled.
The viridian gem that was buried under shone a bright light.
From the mountain of rocks, the golem magically reformed. The cracks were now healed, and its missing arm was now back.
It then swiftly reached under the Beetle's supposed neck and lifted it.
It raised the heavy, long Beetle into the air with an annoyed "expression" before slamming it back into the ground.
BOOM!
Another cloud of dust arose. And so was another disappearance of the Beetle.
The golem quickly whipped its arm around, clearing the dust before scanning the room for the white-haired woman.
That was until, amid its turning, it noticed a long rope of water coming from the back of its "neck".
It then felt something akin to an ant crawl on its rigid, stone back. It was not long till it found out who it was.
Lillian sat cross-legged on its head, having a short breather before getting up.
Her entire plan was to have the Beetle take its entire "aggro" before climbing onto its head and delivering the final blow.
She stood on top of its head, gently and carefully aiming the tip of the odachi at where the gem may be.
Once she pinpointed where it could be, the victorious smile on her face widened.
She raised her sword and plunged through its stone head.
The black blade pierced through its head, entering deep inside the embedded viridian gem.
The golem stiffened. Its body then leaned over, collapsing onto its knees.
THUD!
Lillian swiftly hopped off its head, elegantly landing. After returning the Black Maw to her Mana Realm, she rested both her hands on the back of her head.
With a satisfied smile, she watched the crumbling titan fall, transforming into a mountain of rubble.
She then said with a hint of playfulness.
"Huh. What'd you know? My plan worked."
