I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 297: Reph and Millis’s Situation? [Bonus]
Chapter 297: Reph and Millis’s Situation? [Bonus]
[Reph’s POV]
"Are you... All fine, thus far?" Reph asked, looking behind him to find a crowd of men roaring at him with vigour, unbothered by the fact that they were all covered in blood.
He then glanced down, looking below the wooden chair he was sitting on and found Xander carrying him with ease.
Reph was currently wearing his crown and expensive rings on each finger, each item individually boosting his abilities by a degree. He wasn’t going to underestimate the enemy, even if they had been moving smoothly so far.
And currently, he was acting as some sort of tank as his mode of transport was on top of the chair that was being carried by the red-haired fiery man.
At first, he had rejected this arrangement. But after being insisted on by everyone, he decided to take it, seeing no further reason to deny a chance to not have to expend any more energy.
Looking down at Xander, he asked:
"Are you... Actually fine with this? Is this not in the least bit humiliating?"
"Huh?" Xander raised his eyes, grinning, not under the angering effects of his earrings. "Of course not, Sir! In fact, it’s an honour to your steed into battle!"
"That’s..." Reph wasn’t exactly sure how to answer what he just heard. He was... Somewhat weirded out by the man’s statement. Nonetheless, he coughed into the side of his fist before muttering:
"I see... Well, carry on then. We still have many floors to—"
Before he could finish, the shattered windows along the walls were once again breached as another wave of cultists entered the hallway they were in.
As everyone was about to face the enemy with vigour and excitement, Reph lazily raised his hand before pointing it at the enemy.
Perching the side of his face on his other hand’s knuckles, he muttered quietly as a bright light radiated around the centre of his palm.
"Piercing Ray."
Everyone covered their eyes as a beam of light filled the entire hallway, cleaning and piercing through the cultists with searing brutality.
Once the light had dissipated, all that was left were ashes and sharp metal that shone with a red-hot glow.
Crossing his legs and leaning back into his seat, Reph commanded:
"Keep moving forward... We still have many floors to go down. Those that are in need of saving are waiting for us...!"
The people behind him gave a roar at his command before advancing. Reph, who was being carried, looked out the window with worried boredom in his eyes.
He stared at the eldritch rifts in the sky and the night sky that made it seem that the rifts were just purple swirls on a black canvas.
’Father... Mother... Sister... Everyone. Are you well?’

[Millis POV?]
"PUAH~! What a time to be alive!" Millis moaned with a satisfied expression on her face as her legs dangled over the edge of a rooftop.
She chugged an orange soda and licked her lips afterwards before scrutinising the label and calorie contents, completely ignoring what was going on around her.
"Man... Very heavy. Meh! I worked out a lot, so it doesn’t really matter." With an unbothered look, she chucked the can to the ground before grabbing another beside her.
She had managed to snag quite a few after she discovered one of the nearby vending machines had been destroyed.
She chugged the can while looking at the sky, completely unfazed by the dangers the entire realm was going through.
Once emptying the can she was drinking from, she chucked it over the roof, targeting something below, which she had been using to dump her empty cans.
Staring down below, she scrutinised the corpse of a cultist, whose head was crushed under a stone boulder—the lower half of his body being partially covered in a blanket of soda cans.
After giving one last look, her face contorted to one of sadness and disgust, "The Cult of Jesters... What a miserable existence and concept."
Standing up, she waved her arms about, and then began to shout and yell in a dramatic manner:
"Such a corrupt and impure existence had fallen and violated this place! It must be cleansed!"
Once finished twirling around, she snapped her fingers before turning back and grinning.
"Dontcha agree, boys~?"
Rising up from the ground behind her, knights made of the same material as the roof they were standing on formed and rose.
Her eyes then twitched as the sound of whistling fell through the air, followed by a loud crunch and splatter that repeated several times.
Looking down, Millis found another wave of cultists had arrived in her area. Snapping her fingers, she ordered the knights behind her to leap off the roof.
She watched with a smile as her stone entourage engaged with the group before feeling something amiss.
Like... Something was gazing upon her figure and location.
Glancing towards the sky, she narrowed her eyes until it eventually went away.

"Aww, man..."
Lillian hid under her Beetle as another wave of cultists fell on its back. She grumbled, holding her knees to her chest as she waited for the rain to stop.
She watched as bodies fell off the Beetle’s back, who couldn’t help but let out a grumble of its own, albeit distorted.
Lillian pulled up her current quest progress.
[Number of people saved: 60, Number of people not saved: 10]
She felt proud of being able to save 10 more people, but her mood was brought down by the fact that she couldn’t save 4.
Although with her abilities, she was able to both heal and dish out damage. She had even used her ability to heal some of the soldiers along the way.
However, that still wasn’t enough...
There were some she couldn’t get in time.
She... Was too slow.
The feeling that someone would have when they woke up late for school or were stuck in traffic for a meeting that could dictate someone’s entire life...
That feeling that everyone had at least felt once in their life... She was experiencing this on several folds.
After clearing out the cultists that had just fallen, she climbed back on the Beetle, commanding it to move even faster.
She hated the feeling of being late.
She hated the feeling of failure.
She... Hated the feeling of disappointing others...
