"A myth, you say?" Yun Yuhyun squatted down to meet An Baekya’s eye level, and then he grabbed his chin. "But you’re looking at one, An Baekya."

"You’re saying you’re a Hyper-Dominant Alpha?"

"Exactly."

"Bullshit."

Yun Yuhyun rolled his eyes. "You and your dirty mouth, An Baekya."

"I told you to stop making fun of me— argh!"

An Baekya swatted Yun Yuhyun’s hand away from his face as he grabbed his throat this time.

All of a sudden, the Alpha’s pheromones got thicker.

He already couldn’t breathe earlier.

Now it was worse.

He paused for a moment, tilting his head to one side. "Well, it will be the three of us soon. After all, I intend to make you the mother of my heir."

THAT was one of An Baekya’s bad memories that resurfaced when the realization hit him.

Yun Yuhyun can smell my pheromones. That means he’s about to manifest his Secondary Gender.

"An Baekya, what’s happening to you?" Yun Yuhyun asked in a panic, grabbing An Baekya’s shoulders as if he were worried. "You look so pale."

Wonyoung wanted to praise Yun Dujun, but he stopped when he heard a loud thud.

"Papa, look at An Baekya," Yun Yuhyun said while tugging at Wonyoung’s sleeve. "He looks like a ghost!"

Just one look at An Baekya and Wonyoung already knew what his son was talking about.

Yeah, Baekya looks really pale.

Wonyoung then gently touched An Baekya’s forehead, causing him to gasp because of how hot the child’s skin felt. "Dujun Hyung, let’s bring Baekya to the hospital!"

I CAN’T believe we’re back at the hospital again.

To be precise, Wonyoung and Yun Dujun were back in Dr. Seong Kyungmin’s office.

Yes, he was talking about the doctor known for his expertise on Alpha-Omega pheromones.

And there was a reason for it.

An Baekya’s fever was so high that the doctors in the ER collected his blood sample to check for serious bacterial infections.

And when the blood test result came out...

"It seems like An Baekya is close to manifesting his Secondary Gender, just like Yun Yuhyun," Dr. Seong Kyungmin said while looking at his computer monitor. That monitor was slightly tilted, so Wonyoung and Yun Dujun could see the charts on the screen, too. "An Baekya’s pheromones are dormant, but they’re about to reach the level enough to trigger the manifestation of his Secondary Gender."

Wonyoung clenched his hands tight after hearing Dr. Seong Kyungmin’s diagnosis.

Why is this suddenly happening to the kids?

"Kyungmin Hyung, can you take care of the ER doctors who were in charge of An Baekya earlier?" Yun Dujun asked in a serious tone. "I want them to keep their mouths shut about this."

Good call.

Honestly, Wonyoung wasn’t comfortable when he saw how excited the doctors were when they told Wonyoung that they found pheromones in An Baekya’s blood.

It was obvious that those doctors were excited about the possibility of a child under seven years old manifesting their Secondary Gender. Moreover, the doctors glanced at An Baekya as if the child were a test subject they couldn’t wait to dissect.

I hated that look.

"Yes, I’ll take care of them on your behalf," Dr. Seong Kyungmin assured Wonyoung and Yun Dujun. "An Baekya and Yun Yuhyun are living together, right?"

"Of course, Hyung," Yun Dujun said. "We all live together. We’re family, after all."

"What’s the matter, Dr. Seong?" Wonyoung asked worriedly because he could tell there was something bothering the doctor about their living arrangement. And, to be honest, he already had an idea as to what the problem could be. "Is the fact that An Baekya and Yun Yuhyun living together a problem?"

Wonyoung also didn’t know why he asked that, but he couldn’t help it.

I just feel like An Baekya and Yun Yuhyun shouldn’t be living close to each other for some reason.

And that feeling bothered him.

"I believe so," Dr. Seong Kyungmin said while nodding. "I have a feeling that An Baekya and Yun Yuhyun are triggering each other’s manifestation." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
