"Did he pass out?" Leo wondered, poking the Patriarch’s slumped shoulder. "He didn’t even say thank you for the free ride. Some people have no manners."

He reached up and peeled off the well-groomed moustache. Next, he took off the mask that looked like it was made from real human skin. At least that’s how realistic it looked.

Once he had taken off the disguise, he placed the mask on the old man’s face, before placing a moustache as well. In an instant, the old man had become the kidnapper.

"There. Now you look better," Leo said, wiping a bead of sweat from his brow. Only he knew how annoying it was to have the mask on his face all this time. He was almost melting on the inside.

"Boss, can I ask you a question?" the Branch Manager asked.

"Do you really need permission to ask questions?" Leo hopped into the co-pilot’s seat.

"Why are we going in the reverse direction? We seem to be getting in the depths of the asteroid belt. The more we travel, the farther we get from our destination. Shouldn’t we be hurrying to get back instead?"

"We’re heading to the Neutral Sector. We can’t return right away, after all. If I’m not wrong, the guards will definitely inform the Main Family," Leo answered, tossing an almond in his mouth.

"Don’t worry about the asteroids. We have someone to handle them," Leo patted his branch manager’s shoulder, comforting him.

The Branch Manager didn’t know how to react. Deep down, he was worried that he was part of this kidnapping attempt on the wealthiest man in this space sector.

However, when he thought about the condition of others, he felt much better. After all, there was one person who had it even worse.

At the moment, an old man, who had already lost his beautiful white beard, was sitting atop the fast moving ship.

With flicks of his hand, he was moving asteroids away, preventing them from clashing with the ship.

"When you invited me to this mission, I didn’t think I would be used as a windshield..."

"Though I don’t understand." He looked to his left, and saw a man, standing proudly, crossing his arms. "Why are you even here when you’re not even doing anything?"

The man wasn’t using any magic to keep himself warm. Instead, it looked like he was letting his natural defence do the job.

"It seems like a good training opportunity. Also, I was getting bored inside. So I came to keep you company," Yang stated.

The ship travelled for three days straight. During this time, the ship was only stopped a few times, and that too so that Ulen could return and eat, before setting out again.

During this time, Leo’s ship had been completely off grid, to the point that he didn’t even use his communicator. Though he could already guess what was happening in the outside world.

Just as he had guessed, the outside world was truly in commotion.

Almost every media house, no matter which planet they belonged to, were showing the news about the Lionel Family. Or father, how the family’s head was kidnapped from right under the nose.

A poster of Leo was released to the media, where people were being asked to alert them if they saw this person, or had any information.

Unfortunately, the face in the posters was that of a man with a glorious moustache, and didn’t look anywhere close to the real Leo.

For the first few days, there was somewhat of a sympathy for the Lionel Family, but during the third day, the sympathy was long drowned in mockery.

The Lionel Family had become the joke of the space sector. People left their valuables to the family to be protected, while the family couldn’t even protect their own head?

Their dignity was dragged through the mud. The situation became even worse when news came that the entire treasury was robbed.

The customers of the Lionel Bank rushed to the branches to withdraw their money, and confirm the situation about their collateral.

The Lionel Family tried to comfort them, yet the more they maintained this silence, the worse this situation became.

That condition of the Main Family was even worse. One day, they were having a banquet, and the next day, they had to rush to protect their Patriarch, only to be alerted that the kidnapper had already taken him?
