While most of the people were sleeping at the tents at night, Rain used his skills to bring his friends and family to his mental landscape. He will have to do that again when he meets with the others since they will need that help as well, but he had to gain time now.

"Well, this is one weird place… what are those room for?" Roan asked.

"Nothing important," Rain said. "We can’t waste time, so you guys will have to read the books that I have here to understand the things that I learned recently."

Bringing everyone into his mental landscape was a decision filled with risk. The individuals that were always there were not always very cooperative, and they held intimate knowledge of Rain’s secrets, many of which he preferred to keep concealed for numerous reasons, primarily for their safety and the greater good.

Everyone there were already aware to a substantial portion of Rain’s secrets, owing to their closeness and shared experiences. As they might unintentionally or unknowingly expose critical information, jeopardizing Rain’s plans or compromising his hidden abilities.

Their unguarded discussions or actions within this mental realm could inadvertently reveal more than intended, creating vulnerabilities that could be exploited by adversaries or pose risks to their mission’s success.

While Rain believed in the importance of sharing knowledge for the group’s benefit, he also recognized the necessity of discretion. Revealing certain secrets could have unforeseen consequences, potentially endangering not just himself but also those closest to him. Fortunately, the spirits in the relics stayed quiet, even Iori didn’t try to annoy Rain.

"Most of the techniques that I learned will take sometime to shine, so you need to only learn a few ones," Rain said.

Lv 01: Mortal Bet - by deciding a condition before a fight and accomplishing it, you can take a certain amount of energy from the enemy even before defeating them. The amount will be equal to the level of the skill multiplied by one hundred and it is applied to Health, Mana, and Stamina.

Level 1: Composure

Initiates the journey along the Patience Path by allowing individuals to maintain composure in challenging situations. Improves health, mana, and stamina regeneration while in combat by five percent per level as long as you remain calm.

Level 1: Resolve - Initiates the path of humility, allowing individuals to recognize their limitations and earnestly seek improvement. When fighting enemies stronger than you in terms of parameters, you gain five percent more experience per level.

"These are the most simple skills that you can learn and use, it shouldn’t be hard to learn given what you all had endured in the last one hundred years," Rain said.

"These are passive techniques… they are pretty hard to come up with," Seara said while she was reading one of the books with the others. "They also aren’t part of elemental magic…"

"You had mentioned that you wouldn’t fight the dragons with their powers, but I honestly thought that it wouldn’t be possible," Terra said while showing her surprise as she checked the pages of another book.

"I feel a bit offended by this," Isa said.

Isa was there too… because Rain wanted to confirm if she could learn those techniques as well, even though the nature of her power went against it. Nevertheless, she tried to learn alongside everyone else… Rain’s kids learned the techniques pretty easily since they knew the value of hard work from an young age, and they copied a lot of his actions as well.

That being said, since the techniques were well explained, everyone learned the techniques on the first night… even Isa. That surprised Rain since he didn’t know what to make out of that.

Rain was uncertain regarding Isa’s unique abilities coming from her dual heritage as a half-human. He pondered whether her capacity to master both sins magic and virtues techniques was a product of her mixed lineage, enabling her to embrace and harness the essence of opposing magical arts.

It remained uncertain whether this exclusive trait was specific to Isa or if it was a universal capability inherent in all individuals, similar to the balance of yin and yang.

The possibility that Isa’s mixed heritage granted her the flexibility to comprehend and wield both sins magic and virtues techniques intrigued Rain. However, he also contemplated the notion of coexistence, wondering if these contrasting magical practices could harmoniously reside within any person, irrespective of lineage or heritage.

Could sins and virtues be naturally inclined to balance each other, cohabiting within an individual’s magical prowess like complementary forces?

Despite his thoughts , Rain found it inconceivable that a complete dragon—an entity steeped solely in its draconic essence—could successfully encompass both sins and virtues…

"We arrived at the continent," The woman in the darkness suddenly said.

Rain lost the notion of time while helping everyone and soon when he went outside, he saw the sun rising and his family and friends appeared outside as well. In the distance, they all could see the former territory of the magic people, they could only see a bit of it since the snowstorm on it was too powerful.

"It looks like they are focusing their domain on the land… if things continue like this, they will freeze all the dungeons, kill all the monsters and gain even more power," Isa said.

"At this point in time, nothing will surprise me anymore," Rain shrugged. "Let see… I can still feel Branden’s mana thanks to the seal, and they are heading to the location where the capital of the magic people was supposed to be… they will arrive there in one day or a bit more. They are actually a bit faster than us."

"They will be tired, but since we will arrive a bit later, they will have time to rest… that being said, it will be hard to rest in such a cold place without protection," Terra said.

Rain could only nod… it looked like he will have to improve their flying base a bit more.
