Information to Mastery: Points Store System-Chapter 286: AI Implant
There was one thing that Michael recently realized. It seemed that the system store was now giving a little more detailed the scriptures of the items.
Of course, for the basic items, there was not that much description. But for the most advanced items, the description was much lengthy, and much more detailed.
This was much better as compared to before, which allowed him to be able to understand something, before making the purchase.
Now, as he looked at the item that he had found in the system store, he went through the description.
The item that he had found in the system store was something that matched with what he wanted. It was an Intent AI Implant, priced at 40 SP, equivalent to $4 million.
The Intent AI Implant was a nano chip swarm made to guard a bond of trust.
It could be set in the body with a jet shot, which was something that Michael much appreciated. At least, it did not need someone to undergo the complex surgery procedures, which would take quite a while.
Additionally, this had an advantage of its own, which was the fact that, it did not matter where a person was, as long as it was available, it could be injected into the target.
A fine dose of clear fluid would be sent into a vein. The fluid held vast nano chips, each too small to be felt. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
Once in the blood, the chips would ride the flow. In less than a minute, they could spread through the veins, then move to the brain.
Each chip could pass the blood-brain wall with ease. When they reached the brain, they would fix along key nerve paths tied to urge, hate, fear, and will.
Soon the chips would link and form a mesh. This mesh would run a low AI made for one task, to read intent.
The AI could scan brain wave flow, chemical shifts, and nerve pulse. From this, it could judge the rise of plans, lies, or harm aimed at the one who set the bond.
The host would still act by his own will. The AI would not guide his mind or force his acts. So, it was not something that would end up enslaving a person.
Within the system store, there were several items that could be used to make someone a slave, but that was not what Michael wanted.
Additionally, if the person was a slave, there was a possibility that their personalities would be affected. And in such a case, they would lose the purpose that Michael wanted them for.
If they ended up being exposed, especially with the presence of mutants, it would be inevitable that the plan that Michael had would completely fail.
Back to the description, once the AI was set up, it would wait for a firm rise of traitorous intent. If the host began to form a clear plan to harm, aid a foe, or leak key facts, the mesh would mark the shift.
At first, it would send pain through the nerve net of the brain. The pain would rise sharply, meant to halt the act at once.
If the host still tried to push on with the act, the mesh could send a far worse shock. A full pulse would flood key brain paths, shut down motor nerve flow, and cause a fatal neural burn. Death would come in mere seconds.
In this way the host would still keep their will, yet true traitor acts would lead to a swift and sure end.
Then, there was also the auto‑jet, which came with the vial, which could be connected to a laptop or a computer. First, a drop of blood would be fed the port, letting the AI link to the target’s DNA.
The target here would be the person who the AI would protect the loyalty for.
The name of the person to guard and the rules of betrayal would be typed in. Then in an instant, the chips in the sealed vial would absorb the data, learning whose safety to protect and what counted as betrayal.
Of course, in case of betrayal, death would only come if someone continuously insisted on betraying. If they could tolerate the pain, making it impossible for the pain to stop them from trying to betray Michael, then they could only die.
This was something that could allow Michael to be able to make sure that those that worked for him would never betray him.
But if they did, if they could endure the pain, they would end up dying.
Unfortunately, this was not the best thing to use on those that he cared about. After all, depending on the circumstances, especially if there was a mutant that forced them to speak, they would really have to die.
So, no matter what, Michael had no intention of using this on any person that he really cared about.
Still, there was another issue. That was, while this could make sure that someone would never betray Michael, it still could not make them do as he wanted.
Since it was not capable of controlling someone’s thoughts, and was not enslaving them, it was inevitable that if someone decided not to do what they were informed to, Michael would be helpless in that situation.
Of course, Michael had thought of another possibility. That was, making sure that it was ingrained in the AI that if they disobeyed his instructions, that would be no different from betrayal.
If he could do that, then that would be able to solve this problem. As for if that was really going to be possible, he had to try it out. After all, it was not included in the description.
Michael did not waste my time, as he went ahead and paid the 40 SP, completing the purchase.
In the next moment, inside his trouser pockets, something appeared, making him feel the slight increase in weight.
"Okay, since you have made your decision, then you better cooperate. But, if you attempt anything, or resist, you can only die. And remember one thing, I don’t give second chances. This is your one and only chance." Michael said to James.
Immediately after, he put He’s hand into his pocket, before he pulled out what was inside.
James looked over, while his thoughts were messed up. He could not understand what Michael was trying to imply, still, he was curious about what Michael was taking out.
He had thought of the possibility that Michael was taking out something that would end up making him a slave, though, he felt that the possibility of that was quite low.
From the information that he possessed, it seemed that an item like that has never been produced. With the ability of the death shadow organization, even the government could not hide some things from it. So, if there was something like this that had appeared, they would have already known about it.
As he looked over, he realized that what Michael had taken out was a slim, clear vial, no bigger than a thick pen. Inside it, there was a pale gray fluid that looked like smoke caught in glass.
Alongside it was a short auto-jet needle, polished black with a silver tip.
Looking at what Michael had taken out, James felt his body trembling. He understood, Michael wanted to inject the liquid in the vial into his body.
But, James did not know what that liquid was. At least, from what he understood, it was definitely not a mutation serum.
Was it possible that this liquid was something that could make him obey everything that Michael told him? Or was it some kind of poison, one that only Michael had the antidote?
That way, if he wanted the antidote, he would have to do everything that Michael told him to do?
And as those thoughts appeared in his mind, he felt his entire body shivering slightly.
Michael did not waste time, as through Onyx, he was able to access the system on the auto-jet, and everything that Michael wanted, he informed Onyx about it, and Onyx had them injected into the system of the auto-jet.
Immediately after, Michael gazed out James, asking him to come over.
James, despite all the thoughts that he was having, he understood that it was either he took the chance, or he died. Therefore, despite the reluctance, he still approached Michael, though slowly.
When he arrived in front of Michael, Michael simply prepared everything, before asking James to stretch his hand.
Even though he knew that he was going to be injected with the strange liquid in the vial before, when it came the time for that, James felt reluctant.
"What is this for?" James instinctively asked.
While grabbing James’ left arm, Michael responded, "It is something that will ensure that you don’t betray me. If you attempt to do that, you will experience a lot of pain.
But apart from that, if you insist through the pain, trying to betray me, the end result will be death.
You can decide to continue with your decision to work for me, and allow me to inject this into your body. If not, you can just die now, no need to wait for later."
James was not sure if he was supposed to believe Michael or not. No matter what, he just felt that Michael was talking nonsense.
If something like this existed, why was he not aware about it? As one of the most powerful mutants in the world, how could he not know about something like this?
By now, the organizations all over the world, who had mutants, would have already used this kind of method. That way, they could control the mutants that they had.
Michael did not say anything else, as he went ahead and proceeded with the injection.
