Information to Mastery: Points Store System-Chapter 287: A Ruse?

Michael took the auto‑jet and set the silver tip to James’s arm. The vial locked into the slot and with one firm press, there was a ’tick’ sound.

The jet fired, and the gray dose shot through the thin tip into the vein. The fluid slipped into the blood at once as the nano swarm lost from sight the moment it went in.

When Michael pulled the injector away, the mark left on James’s skin was no more than a small red dot.

James flinched at the sharp tick, a quick pulse of heat crawling up his arm. As Michael retreated, the red dot on James’ arm faded, but a strange weight settled in his chest, like a shadow pressing against his thoughts.

This sensation did not last long though, as just a little while later, it completely disappeared.

James tried to feel his body, but he felt that nothing had changed. It was as if the liquid that had just been injected into his body had not caused him any changes.

He felt extremely nervous, not sure what he was supposed to expect. But, he understood, from what Michael had told him before, this was something that was supposed to make sure that he would not betray him?

As soon as this thought appeared in his mind, several thoughts regarding going against Michael appeared in his mind. But, it seemed that nothing happened?

Could it be that this liquid that Michael had injected him was just a trick being used by Michael? Was it something that Michael was trying to use in order to intimidate him?

But before doing anything, he remembered clearly what Michael had told him. That was, as long as he tried to betray Michael, he would end up being struck by pain.

James was so thrilled that he almost should how excited he was on his face. Still, he was able to control his emotions, and quickly rushed out of the villa, as if he was being chased away.

With James leaving, Michael looked at Bob, who was still on the ground, in pain. With one of his kneecaps broken it was obviously impossible for him to leave, unless someone supported him.

That was especially at the moment, as the pain was still there, leaving Bob continuously growing on the floor.

Of course, while the guy had been in pain, he had still heard quite a bit of what was going on here. He also understood that Michael was a mutant, which was completely unexpected to him.

But more than that, it seemed that he had subdued that assassin? Is that really was the case, then this was terrifying. No matter what, he thought, as soon as he got out of here, he would have to get this information out.

While Bob was already thinking about all that, Michael, who had just sat down, was thinking about something else.

Just like with the AI implant, the instructions was needed to be included in the injector, before the liquid in the vial was used.

Through Onyx, Michael was able to give the instructions that he wanted, which were directly integrated into the system of the injector.

Immediately after, Michael gave the clone the injector, and Bob, who was lying on the ground, was terrified when he saw the clone approaching with an injector.

He was not sure what was painting with in that injector, but he felt that it was nothing good. So, he tried to struggle, only for him to be struck once again, and forced into obedience.

Immediately after, the clone injected the liquid into Bob. Bob felt a slight headache, but it vanished in the next moment.

And just as he was trying to understand what was happening, he suddenly passed out.

"Find a way of having him a sent back to the Santos family." Michael said to the clone.

At the moment, Bob had already lost all the memories of what had really happened here. All that he could remember was that he was coming, and they had arrived outside the villa.
