Invincible Kungfu Healer-Chapter 1031 - Ink Scaled Appears
Chapter 1031: Ink Scaled Appears
“Die, intruders.”
Figures that were seven, eight meters tall suddenly appeared from above the city walls. Their aura was immense and they likely had at least a cultivation of a martial arts grandmaster. The person at the helm seemed to have reached the level of an infinite powerhouse. These people were not human; they were using Ling Feng defensive methods. Mo Wen and Gu Jingman were in seclusion. They currently had the highest cultivation in the entire Ming Palace. No matter what happened, they would be standing at the forefront.
A man was not actually someone from the Ming Preservation Faction, so there was no need for him to be involved in such a grudge. However, Mo Wen had once saved his life so there was no way he could not repay this debt of gratitude.
“Do these measly bunch of martial arts grandmasters dare block our path? They’re really looking for death.”
Of the group of people, a middle-aged man with a mustache chuckled coldly. He held a long, dark black staff in his hand. The spirit marks on it were glowing brilliantly—this was a treasure on the level of a profound weapon.
Whoosh!
With one swing, the long staff transformed into a hundred-meter-tall shadow, smashing violently at the walls of Intentionless City. If the staff had firmly hit the wall, the walls might have collapsed. After all, Intentionless City was just an ordinary city and not an immortal city created by immortal cultivators.
“The audacity,” Tan Qiyue roared. She leaped up into the sky, only to be blocked by the staff shadow. The long blade in her hand shook before the ancient blade collided into the staff shadow.
With a rumble and a bout of immense strength, Tan Qiyue was sent flying out. The man with a mustache, on the other hand, had only taken one step back.
It was clear now that Tan Qiyue was no match for the middle-aged man. Although both of them were Infinite Powerhouses, Tan Qiyue, had just broken through to the stage.
Ling Feng furrowed his eyebrows. The man with the mustache was fairly strong, and it would be difficult for him to even suppress the man. Besides, he was just one of thirty, so there were definitely stronger people within the group.
“Who dares cause a ruckus in the Ming Palace? If one comes forth, I’ll take a life. If two come forth, I’ll take a pair of lives.”
Suddenly, a gentle voice rang out from above Intentionless City. The voice was very much like the low whisper of a gentle lady, gentle enough to worm its way into someone’s heart. The formless voice also gave off a strong wave of charisma, riling people up against their wishes.
In the next moment, an elegant figure appeared on the city walls. The lady stood gracefully, much like one of the most beautiful sceneries in heaven and earth.
“Gu Jingman! The she-devil has appeared.”
“The she-devil has finally appeared. Didn’t they say she was badly injured? Why is she standing here looking well? You really can’t trust what you hear.”
“It’s a good thing we didn’t believe the rumors and act rashly. Otherwise, we’d die in the hands of the demon sooner or later.”
“Don’t worry, we have the seniors with us. Don’t be afraid of that demon.”
…
Gu Jingman’s entrance caused quite a stir outside the city. The sects of the Peng Lai Immortal Realm had a rather strong impression of this she-devil because the ones who had infiltrated the Ming Palace at the start had all suffered greatly in her hands. A few seniors at the Primordial Soul realm had even died in her hands.
Gu Jingman’s eyes were cold. She raised a slender hand and pointed forward. Then, a bout of boundless power rushed forth and collided directly with the middle-aged man with a mustache.
Rumble!
The middle-aged man was sent flying in an instant. A bout of ultimate power had knocked right into him, preparing to end his life.
“Hm, you’re gutsy for killing my people from the Shattering Cloud Sect.”
At this moment, a shapeless power descended from the skies and onto the body of that middle-aged man, expelling Gu Jingman’s power from his body in an instant.
An elder with white hair and white robes, covered with cloud patterns, stepped over slowly from the horizon. He gripped a sword behind his back and his momentum was unquestionable. His movements were elegant as if he believed he was a sword deity.
The thirty-odd people in front of him were from the Shattering Cloud Sect. The only reason they had dared to step out and be the first sect to carry out the attack was that their sect elders had already made it here. What else could they possibly be afraid of now that they had the support of their sect elders?
Besides, Elder Chen Tianxiao was a powerful cultivator at the Tide Changing realm, and he held a high position within the sect. He was much more powerful than Shao Tianqi had been.
Gu Jingman also looked at this old man, whose eyes were squinted shut. The aura he was emanating seemed to gradually become more forceful. This old man was much more of a threat than Shao Tianqi had ever been.
But then again, Shao Tianqi had died in the Green Ancient Mystery Dimension. Were the other sects of the Peng Lai Immortal Realm going to make light of that? Obviously, the people sent out after him would not be too shabby.
“Demon, was it you who had killed Shao Tianqi of the Petrification Cult, or had it been someone else?”
Chen Tianxiao stood high in the air and looked down at Gu Jingman from where he was; there was no mistake that there was an air of superiority coming off of him. A cultivator at the Tide Changing Realm was definitely the cream of the crop in the Peng Lai Immortal Realm. Now that he was here in the main space, he believed there was no one in this world who was his match.
It was just that he did not expect that a few measly cultivators from the main space would require his intervention. Was the main space this strong now?
“No comment,” Gu Jingman responded coldly. This old man was trying to fish for information, probably speculating if there were still any powerhouses backing the Ming Palace.
“You’ve got quite a big mouth on you, are you not afraid of death?” Chen Tianxiao chuckled coldly, then said, “Or I could be cruel and torture you bit by bit, granting you a fate worse than death.
It would be such a shame for such a beautiful person to die like that. Chen Tianxiao laughed strangely as he stared at Gu Jingman purposefully.
Gu Jingman’s face was becoming colder and colder. She wanted nothing more than to gouge out the old man’s eyes. He was so old and yet he still did not understand the idea of respect. She suddenly felt that even Shao Tianqi had not been as vile as this old man.
“You people of the Shattering Cloud Sect, you’re a large sect from the Peng Lai Immortal Realm. You have a long history and a broad orthodoxy, so why are you picking on a tiny sect like ours? Is it a common practice of your sect to bully the weak?” Gu Jingman remarked mildly.
A large sect from the Peng Lai Immortal Realm and a powerhouse cultivator at the Tide Changing Realm had actually come all the way to the main space to make a big show of their strength. What sort of mindset was this?
“Bullying the weak? Haha, you’re right, I am bullying the weak, and you’re the one I’m bullying. Aren’t you naïve, little lady, asking a question like this? There is no greater truth than strength here in the Immortal Cultivation world,” Chen Tianxiao sneered.
He was not the least bit ashamed of this; on the contrary, he was rather proud of it. A powerful cultivator at the Tide Changing realm like him went all the way to a tiny mystery dimension like the Green Ancient Mystery Dimension. He was not the least bit shameful.
“I wouldn’t say I’m naïve, just confused as to why the people from a sect as big as yours have absolutely no sense of propriety, decorum, or shame,” Gu Jingman remarked calmly.
Upon hearing her words, Chen Tianxiao’s face hardened. This little b*tch was actually speaking to him like that in front of a crowd. He said, “I don’t know anything about shame, you b*tch, but I’ll tell you what it means to have no shame in a little bit.”
Chen Tianxiao chuckled strangely. There was no one in the whole of the Green Ancient Mystery Dimension who was his match, so could stop him from doing as he pleased? He felt great about himself as if his standing here had just made him the god of heaven and earth.
Abruptly, a young figure appeared without a sound on the city walls, like a gust of wind that blew by gently, appearing without a single trace. No one noticed how the young man had made his way here, and even Chen Tianxiao was puzzled. He looked away for only a second and had not noticed how the young man got there.
Mo Wen took a step forward, standing in front of Gu Jingman like a mountain. He spoke mildly, “You’re the elder of a large sect and yet you’re behaving in such a despicable and shameless manner. It just goes to show how vile the Shattering Cloud Sect is. If your ancestors knew just what you juniors were getting up to, they would probably be rolling in their graves.”
“A junior like you has no right to lecture the Shattering Cloud Sect on their behavior. Who are you?” Chen Tianxiao squinted. The young man standing in front of him did not seem simple; that mere action earlier had puzzled him greatly. He was definitely much more threatening than Gu Jingman.
“Haven’t you guys been looking for me? I thought you lot were in a rush to kill me.”
Mo Wen laughed. These large sects were actually rather funny. All of them had been rioting to kill him, yet there was but a handful of people who actually knew who he was. They had probably never seen him with their own eyes before, doing nothing more than to send a few of the lesser disciples to deal with him. The higher-ups paid no attention to him. They were only focused on the treasures he had on him.
“You’re Mo Wen?”
Chen Tianxiao was shocked when he heard this. Mo Wen had barely been training for a few years, no? He was estimated to be no older than 30, so how could he have such strong cultivation and be so much more threatening than Gu Jingman? Chen Tianxiao had initially thought that this “young person” was only young in appearance even though he was not young in actuality. This is because there were techniques in the Immortal Cultivation world that allowed for people to retain their youthful looks. They would look young but, in reality, they could be up to thousands of years old.
“Was it you who killed Shao Tianqi?” Chen Tianxiao’s face hardened. He had always thought that Shao Tianqi had been killed by a mysterious expert, but it turned out that Mo Wen had been the one who had killed him. Based on this, Mo Wen was completely terrifying. If he could kill cultivators at the Tide Changing realm now, there was so much more he could accomplish in the days to come. Even Zhang Poxiao had not been as terrifying as him back in the past.
“Perhaps you’ll be the one I’ll kill next.”
Mo Wen laughed mildly. He was neither admitting nor denying it. All he did was stare at Cheng Tianxiao with a rather cold gaze.
A cultivator at the Tide Changing later stage was likely someone he could not kill with his power alone unless Multicolor woke up and merged with him. Just because he could not kill him did not mean nobody else could.
The cultivators from the Peng Lai Immortal Realm were unceasingly coming into the Green Ancient Mystery Dimension. The Shattering Cloud Sect standing in front of them was but one of the waves, and many more sects would be making their way in after. Things would only get worse if he could not shock these people.
“Kill me! Alright, that’s crazy enough. I want to see how you’ll kill me.”
Chen Tianxiao broke out raucous laughter when he heard this. Mo Wen was simply too ignorant. Did Mo Wen think he could kill him just because he had killed Shao Tianqi? Besides, it was difficult to confirm if he had really been the one to kill Shao Tianqi. At the very least, he refused to acknowledge that Mo Wen possessed such strength and talent. That said, his desire to kill Mo Wen had reignited. This was a person he could not allow to live.
A terrifying strength exploded from Chen Tianxiao’s body. He took one step forward, and the space within a thousand-meter radius seemed to collapse upon itself. A terrifying power blocked the surrounding area as a large hand reached out to grab Mo Wen, like an eagle grabbing a little chick.
However, just as his power emerged and before he had the time to fully tap into his extraordinary power, a beam of black light flashed before him. At the same time, a burly, middle-aged man appeared. The man was wearing ancient yet savage battle armor, and the aura coming off of him even more barbaric.
