The indigo planet resembled his previous life’s Earth. It was deep blue and looked beautiful.

Had he seen it under any other circumstances, Zu An would have been impressed, but to see such a huge planet crashing down on him amid his heavenly tribulation caused immense fear that couldn’t be explained with words.

Yumen Beiqing stared at the falling planet in utter shock as well. “I’ve never heard of anyone undergoing this in their heavenly tribulation. This is bizarre.”

However, she quickly snapped out of it and said, “No, that’s not a real planet. It’s just an illusion conjured by the heavenly tribulation. It’s probably targeted at the challenger and not us.” She was the Sun Goddess, after all. She could tell whether the planet was real or not.

“But what about big brother Zu?” The Mermaid Queen had many questions on her mind. “Why are big brother Zu’s tribulations so much tougher than those of others? How is he supposed to survive this?”

Yumen Beiqing fell silent. I have already helped him once. Should I help him again? Why am I even here at all? It’d be for the best if he died here, but why am I not as happy as I thought?

Zu An stared grimly at the descending planet. With a wave of his hand, the red Sun Slaying Bow appeared in his grasp. He nocked an arrow onto the bow and drew the bowstring. It was as if he had turned into the bow himself, his bulging muscles pulsating with strength.

The Mermaid Queen squealed in glee. “Big brother Zu’s bow is formidable! I can sense a destructive energy building up on the tip of his arrow.”

There was no response from Yumen Beiqing, so she turned around and was shocked to see the latter with a livid expression. Yumen Beiqing was trembling, and the hands hidden in her sleeves were clenched into fists.

The Mermaid Queen was startled. “Is big brother Zu in danger?”

“It would be best if that was the case!” Yumen Beiqing clenched her jaw. She had plotted all these events to change the future of Yi shooting down the suns. That was the very bow that killed her nine sons in history! How could she not be furious?

The days she'd spent with Zu An weren't enough for her to fall in love with him, but they had changed her impression of him. Yet the bow reminded her of the last time she'd seen him shooting down the suns. Back then, she'd sworn to kill him, but she'd almost forgotten about the vow she made back then.

The Mermaid Queen was stunned. She had no idea why Yumen Beiqing was reacting in such a manner. She seems to have a deep grudge against big brother Zu. Aren’t they lovers?

She thought that it could be a misunderstanding, so she didn’t dwell on it. At the same time, the massive congregation of white light on Zu An’s side drew her attention.

A white arrow was released, and it flew across the horizon like a shooting star. In the blink of an eye, it struck the indigo planet.

The planet instantly unraveled, shattering into starlight that scattered all over the sky.

“Saintess, you don’t seem happy about his victory,” the Mermaid Queen said carefully.

Yumen Beiqing simply looked at the tribulation clouds coldly without answering.

With the shattering of the indigo planet, the tribulation clouds billowed once more and slowly turned violet.

“Why does his heavenly tribulation have so many phenomena?” Yumen Beiqing fell into deep thought. The Seven-Colored Divine Tribulation had happened before, but it was never to this ridiculous extent.

Every tribulation Zu An had encountered thus far could easily be the most dangerous one for other people’s heavenly tribulation, yet he faced them one after another in succession.

All of a sudden, Yumen Beiqing froze up before sneering. I don’t care whether he lives or not! It would be best if he died here.

The violet tribulation clouds slowly parted to reveal a brilliant universe in the sky. The Mermaid Queen and Yumen Beiqing had seen the starry sky before, but they had never seen one as beautiful as this.
