Killed Me? Now I Have Your Power-Chapter 79: Strange Beast
Chapter 79: Chapter 79: Strange Beast
Chapter 79 – Strange beast
The battle had begun.
The Warborn soldiers didn’t even hesitate for a second. They all took out their weapons and ran toward the beasts like rabid berserkers, bloodlust in their eyes.
Soon, battle erupted throughout the deserted wilderness. Weapons clashed against claws of steel. Blood-hungry soldiers met blood-hungry beasts.
There was no mercy. No hesitation. Only one thing filled the heads of everyone present—kill. Kill the one in front of you. Nothing more. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel-com
The Warborn didn’t fight in formation. From afar, they looked like mindless savages, chaotic and disorganized.
But you couldn’t be more wrong.
They were soldiers forged by war and fire—born in blood, raised through endless battle. Their instincts were sharp, brutal, and relentless. They didn’t need to coordinate. They didn’t need to speak. Each of them simply knew what to do—and they did it flawlessly.
Blood started to spill across the sand as death began to take hold. The soldiers cut through the beasts like blades through flesh, using their weapons and a multitude of powers that reflected their origins.
Some used fire, engaging the steel-burning monsters in a violent contest of heat—each trying to see who could cook the other faster and more thoroughly.
Others relied on pure strength, tossing their weapons aside and choosing instead to use their fists—and oh, how strong they were. One punch, and the beasts were left disoriented, stunned, or simply reduced to pulp.
There were those with speed-type origins too, blitzing across the battlefield, killing in a single strike or leaving their targets half-dead, ready for their comrades to finish the job.
So many types of abilities, so many styles...but it wasn’t chaos. It was experience. It was discipline.
It was the Warborn.
Deaths piled up. The sand beneath their feet turned red.
But up to now, the Warborn had the upper hand. Because even if they died, they never died alone. That was their creed.
If death came for them, they dragged a beast with them to the grave. And if one soldier failed, multiple others would swarm the surviving enemy until nothing remained.
Just like a Hive.
No shame.
Daela watched it all with calm eyes. The bloodied sand didn’t bother her. The smell of iron flooding the battlefield didn’t faze her. She walked forward without pause, indifferent, heading straight toward the commander of the enemy army. On each side, Sana and Boris moved like twin shadows, killing any fool who dared approach her.
"Stay here and help the soldiers," Daela said quietly, before walking ahead alone.
Soon, she stood before the commander.
The beast grinned devilishly, raising its massive steel greatsword and pointing it at her from the back of its steelhorse.
Provocation.
It was trying to provoke her.
Daela didn’t speak. She didn’t blink. She raised her hands—and in an instant, her twin silver swords materialized in her palms.
She took a step.
And vanished like a mirage...like an echo.
She appeared instantly in front of the beast’s mount and plunged her swords deep into the steelhorse’s eyes before returning calmly to her original position.
The entire action didn’t even last two seconds. It was so fast that the commander only realized what had happened when he heard the screeching, gurgling cry of his mount and felt it collapsing beneath him.
NNNGHHHHH!!
The steelhorse thrashed wildly on the ground, both swords still embedded in its skull, refusing to dislodge.
The commander stood stunned. His gaze snapped toward Daela—and he flinched.
She was right there.
An inch from him—and he hadn’t even noticed.
He tried to retreat, but Daela’s hand shot out with terrifying speed, clamping around his neck like a vice.
She stared into his eyes with pure, unfiltered disdain.
"Master rank, huh?" she muttered coldly.
Daela herself was at the Master rank. But this thing? It couldn’t even endure her presence.
The beast trembled beneath her grip. Her red eyes were so devoid of emotion it made its bones shake. It was like she wasn’t even looking at a living thing—just some disposable trash.
She raised her free hand.
One of the swords embedded in the steelhorse instantly disappeared and reappeared in her palm.
And with no pause, no hesitation, she stabbed it through the beast commander’s eye.
The blade passed through the skull and out the back of its head.
Thud.
The body dropped.
Daela stood still, then casually slashed at the dying steelhorse with a single motion. A deep wound opened across its chest—but it still clung to life.
Only for a second, though.
A second later, a fountain of blood gushed out from the wound as its body collapsed.
A echo sword.
Daela turned, her eyes scanning the battlefield.
Every steelbeast had been slain. But more than half the Warborn soldiers had fallen too.
"They died on the battlefield... they died honorably."
"Bury the bodies. Bring the corpses of the steelbeasts to the forge."
Her voice was calm as ever. She turned and walked back toward her tent, her mind spinning with thoughts.
This wasn’t the end. Not even close.
And if the enemy had sent a Master-ranked beast today, it was only a matter of time before they sent something worse.
Grandmaster rank.
So she had to prepare. She needed more soldiers. More potions. More artifacts.
And it’s only in moments like this she remembered...
She had another brother.
’Where is Dain...?’
She sighed inwardly. Her big brother was so unreliable.

Kaden was in a deep predicament.
"Hey dude, are you serious? Why are you ignoring me?" Kaden shouted, standing on the head of the massive beast.
But the creature didn’t move. Didn’t react. It was like the moment Kaden resisted its illusion, it lost interest.
It was like the beast was saying, "You won. Now go back to where you belong."
And he could go back. Both The Will and his system had confirmed it.
He had obtained the evolution stone. He even received a small chain artifact that gave minor resistance to illusions.
Useless trash. He already had his Extreme Skill for that.
Even the 500 Death Coins and the 50 stat points felt weak.
So before leaving, he wanted one more thing—to be killed. He wanted the beast to attack him, just once so that he can die and obtain anything from it.
But it ignored him completely. As if he didn’t exist.
’What a strange beast...’ Kaden thought, and that was exactly why he was serious about uncovering what made this thing so special.
So he didn’t stop. His will was monstrous. He kept bothering the beast without rest.
When that failed, he decided to explore the strange trees growing on its back. He walked aimlessly, kicking rocks, humming loudly—making as much noise as possible.
This continued for nearly four hours.
Then, suddenly, Kaden stopped.
He stared ahead.
There was nothing there. Just empty space.
But...
He felt it.
That sensation. The one from when he first entered the dungeon.
Illusion.
He smirked and focused hard, activating Will Crush, pushing his perception and Will to its absolute limit.
And slowly—so slowly—he began to see something.
A hollow space.
Like the mouth of a cave. The entrance to something forgotten. Something ancient.
The moment his eyes locked onto it—
DING!

Kaden smiled crookedly.
That’s what I’m talking about.
