Kingdom Building: Civilization Starts with Divinity-Chapter 69: Group Battle
"Oi, be more careful!" Alchemy scolded Nera, Stomping on Legend.
"I’m sorry, Mother Goddess! These guys are just too durable!" Nera apologized, grabbing Ruler by the head and slamming him against the ground
"Huh, you don’t say?" Alchemy hummed as she let out a deep breath.
"No matter what type of wound I inflict, it gets cauterized, and they simply keep going! I’m almost out of SP, too!" Nera complained in response.
While conversing, Steve rushed at them with flaming claws like he had taken down Alchemy moments ago, but instead, Nera and Alchemy hit him simultaneously, nearly sending him flying out of the valley.
"Tsk. I see what you mean." Alchemy scoffed, seeing her SP dropping at a rather annoying rate as well.
Lucky for her, she didn’t rely on SP to fight since she had no offensive skills, but the same couldn’t be said for Sapphire.
"Focus them down one at a time. Let’s go help Sapphire!"
Nera nodded, and the two rushed over to Sapphire.
Surprisingly, she was barely holding up against Hero despite being the only one present who wasn’t weak to both magic and fire.
The only reason she could still move was the healing flowers Alchemy had placed, but like the other two, her MP was reaching its limits.
She was running around the valley with her opponent in hot pursuit. She tried kicking him with her hind legs, but his agility was too high for that to work as he evaded and bit down on Sapphire.
His teeth failed to penetrate Sapphire’s crystals, but his claws dug into her skin, causing her to fall to the ground.
To stop his advance, she created a small row of crystal spikes. At the same time, her HP recovered about 300 HP.
Not to mention that the small amount of time she bought gave Alchemy enough room to come in and axe-kick the lion. The force behind her kick caused Hero’s body to rebound and bounce back up.
Before he could process what happened, Nera came from above with her massive stake-like spear, impaling him.

"Sapphire, how many more Crystal Blooms do you have left?" Alchemy asked, pushing away the notifications.
Sapphire, who was in a bit of a trance from Alchemy and Nera coming in with the combo, took a moment to answer.
"A-ah. Once more. Maybe two, but I doubt it." She answered.
"Good enough. Support us- Nera! Incoming!" Alchemy said, giving orders as she went.
Seeing their friend die, the three remaining Mint Lions regrouped and combined their fire breath to make a massive wave of flames.
Nera, forced to return to her Neutral Form, jumped to the left with Alchemy matching her and jumping to the right while Sapphire stumbled back, narrowly avoiding the flames.
Sapphire let out one last large wave of crystal as they closed in, dividing Legend from the other two.
Alchemy was a single step quicker to attack, treating Legend’s head like a volleyball and spiking it into the ground.
"Nera! Fly up!" She ordered after.
"Right!" Nera responded, coming in and grabbing the lion before taking it up in the sky. The lion tried to attack her to make her let go, and the warning signs of her taking 3x damage nearly did, but using the last bit of her SP to reinforce herself, she sent Legend straight into the ground like a corkscrew.
Oh, poor Steve, Steve didn’t last much longer or fare any better. While Nera was giving Legend the ride of his lifetime, Alchemy used the short moment of confusion caused by Nera’s kidnapping of their friend to impale Steve through his eye.
Afterward, Alchemy jumped back, and Nera joined her shortly afterward.

Nera had tried to end the fight right there by taking out the strongest lion as well, but the moment she touched him, her hand began burning, causing her to retreat.
All three members of the group were nearly out of the fight. Every single one of them was panting for air as Ruler’s body rapidly began heating up.
Luckily, all of them were relatively good in the HP department. Nera was currently the lowest with around 700, but all of their SP and MP, in the case of Sapphire, were in the double digits.
Meanwhile, Ruler, as significantly damaged as he was, kept heating up as anger filled his head. If not for the fact that he was already seeing red because of the blood moon, that would be happening as well with his bloodshot eyes.
The ground around him was beginning to melt and turn into molten rocks.
"Oh, come on! There’s still more after that?" Alchemy scoffed.
She was pretty confident they could take the final lion down if someone were willing to drop to 0 hp, but Alchemy wasn’t losing a Hero for this.
"Teacher! Isn’t it about time you stopped watching and helped?" She called out.
Gravana didn’t respond and was nowhere to be seen.
"Ah." Alchemy sighed as nothing happened.
Ruler’s growls grew louder as he continued getting hotter.
"Wait! I don’t think he can move while he’s heating up!" Nera said.
This realization caused Alchemy’s eyes to widen. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
"Perfect! Book it. Run. This last one isn’t worth it." Alchemy nodded to herself, beginning to back up.
She didn’t turn around until her Heroes started to run. The moment they did, she followed suit, having her hand on her chest, ready to use her Divine Power to heal herself fully and retaliate.
She had no idea if she could heal SP with her miracles yet or if she needed a higher level skill, but if Gravana was going to ditch them like this, she could only gamble a little.
As the distance widened greatly, the Lion moved. In an instant, he dashed forward, almost escaping Alchemy’s vision.
While he was in the air, Alchemy was already moving Divine Power through her body when a spiraling gust of wind shot Ruler from the sidelines, killing him instantly.
