King's Rule: Creating the Strongest Kingdom With My Broken Talent-Chapter 26: Confused Harven, Progress From King’s Rule
"What?!"
Harven, a solo human like Vesh who was from Earth and had attacked Vesh with his wolves, was shocked.
He didn’t have time to keep his eye on Vesh’s territory 24/7, so he let his D-rank Windfury Eagles keep watch and give him reports.
The day before yesterday, he had found out there was quite a commotion there as some people had attacked Vesh.
But Harven’s connection with his beasts was cut off by Forguin since he sensed those birds with magic links in them, so he didn’t have any news after that.
So he sent more birds afterward and found out that Vesh had solved the trouble somehow. Afterward, he commanded the birds to keep an eye there and report to him everything they saw while he focused on another important task.
But tonight, before sleeping, when he was sharing vision with a bird there to see how Vesh was doing, he was dumbfounded.
The territory was gone.
’What happened? Tell me everything you saw.’
’What? It flew up? Why didn’t you follow them?’
Harven facepalmed.
The answer from the birds was that he had told them to keep an eye on the territory, so even after Vesh flew up with his territory, the birds were flying around the large crater, evidently having fun to pass the time.
Harven sighed. "Forget it."
"I need C-rank monsters who are a bit more intelligent. Now I’ve lost my prey." Harven rubbed his chin. "But how did he fly up with his territory? That’s insane."
"Did he unlock some kind of talent that can help him with that?"
Shaking his head, he contacted his beasts.
"So be it. We’ll set our sights on the Tuskrock Kingdom. Let’s take over their port city first. The ocean must have sea monsters that I can tame as well."
Harven grinned with thrill.
"My Monster Kingdom will rule this world eventually."
...
The night soon passed while everyone kept training under King’s Rule.
King’s Rule for Arga was that he would train until morning while taking necessary breaks and break through in his sword mastery as much as possible by blooming out his full potential.
King’s Rule for Rovina was creating intricate magic techniques of her A-rank Light and Darkness talents and increasing her combat power as much as possible until morning while taking necessary breaks.
King’s Rule for Kayan was to meditate and awaken a new talent called Rational Mind before morning. The reason for this was his B-rank Bloodthirsty Drive talent, which gave benefits to Kayan like temporarily increasing his physical parameters and healing injuries while removing debuffs by absorbing the blood of others. But when activating this, it also increased his bloodthirst, so Vesh wanted him to awaken the Rational Mind talent, which could hopefully negate the bloodthirst from Bloodthirsty Drive.
Lastly, King’s Rule for Viana was also similar, but without a specific target talent. It was to meditate and awaken a new talent suitable to her before morning.
This would also work as an experiment to see if his people could awaken new talents like him through King’s Rule because the difficulty for both Kayan and Viana was SSS-rank.
Meaning that awakening a new talent was going to be difficult, and there was no telling what rank of talent it would be, as it entirely depended on the people themselves rather than King’s Rule.
Meanwhile, in the clouds above the territory, flashes of lightning, as well as bright blue, gold, crimson, and other such colors, appeared every now and then as something big was slowly taking shape. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
One Ascension Storm of Heaven and Earth was rotating above, providing Vesh with B-rank refined magic energy to build what he envisioned.
’B-rank... will it be enough?’ Vesh looked at the blueprint of a large three-meter-long high-tech laser blaster.
’I also want to destroy the cult branch and complete the quest, but if they have a Stem-rank powerhouse, B-rank weapons likely won’t work.’
He looked up. ’Yeah, screw this. For this special war fortress, I’ll go up and refine A-rank energy and store it so I can use it against stronger foes.’
The sun was already visible to him, though the sky and sun were vastly different from those of Earth.
He could look at the sun directly by protecting his eyes with mana and reducing the brightness with his mastery of Mana.
’Good scenery.’
Vesh continued working. It was still very early in the morning. He could see the sun only because he was so high up in the sky.
’Hehe, nobody will be expecting a destructive fortress in the shape of this.’
"Meow!" Kaeli returned after roaming around in the sky and pawed at Vesh’s head. "Meow, meow!"
She was surprised at what Vesh was building, her eyes sparkling with confusion and excitement.
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Vesh laughed. "I will put everything together, and it will look like you."
"Meow?!?!"
"Yep. Really."
...
As morning arrived, Arga and Rovina opened their eyes as their King’s Rule successfully executed. The progress they made until morning depended on their focus and hard work during the King’s Rule period.
Arga opened his eyes first, looking both calm and sharp.
Standing up, he looked at a nearby tree and made a chopping motion with his hand toward it.
A single leaf was cut into four pieces.
No mana consumption.
Just the power of thought.
[Congratulations. Your Swordsman talent has evolved into S-rank Sword King.]
"Sword King boosts the damage of my sword moves by 100% autometically. Not to mention, I have now acquired Sword Intent and more techniques." Arga grinned.
"Not bad," Rovina commented from the side as she also opened her eyes shortly after Arga. Her talents didn’t rise up, but she gained tremendous knowledge in Mana and basically elevated her techniques level way higher than before.
Both of them suddenly felt something strange and turned toward Viana, who was floating slightly above the ground and opened her eyes as well.
"This..." Viana was shocked, her eyes filling with multiple emotions.
"I-I think I awakened a powerful talent." Viana’s face turned red with excitement and disbelief.
[Congratulations. You have awakened an SS-rank Talent, Prime Construct.]
’Did I really awaken this?’ She looked around in a daze before looking back at the screen.
