King's Rule: Creating the Strongest Kingdom With My Broken Talent-Chapter 27: Skylord Behemoth K
’If this is a dream, wake me up right now.’ She thought while reading the power of her Talent, which made her even more thrilled.
[Prime Construct (SS): There is a permanent 10-meter radius field around you that adapts to the surroundings and separates you from the conventional physical restrictions of the world. The field can be expanded, but the expanded field consumes Mana per second. The field also negates 30% of physical and magical damage before letting it pass through. The negated damage turns into Prime Essence, which can be used to empower you physically and boost your techniques.]
Viana moved around just by having the willingness to move.
If she looked at a spot and willed herself to move there, she would move there.
"You can fly now, lass? But there’s no wind." Rovina was surprised.
Arga looked at her, observing the faint translucent bubble around her. "That must be her talent, but it’s hard to inspect."
Viana arrived in front of them and landed on her feet with a smile. She noticed that the field passed through the ground below.
When she decided to go down, she went down as if she was not physical herself!
"Wow," Viana exclaimed as she popped back up. "I can pass through stuff."
Arga and Rovina looked at each other, dumbfounded. Passing through and flying around?
"What kind of talent is that?" Rovina asked.
"Prime Construct is the name. SS-rank." Viana giggled. "It’s so amazing. I want to test something. Can you attack me with your flames and darkness?"
Arga and Rovina blinked once, and in the next second, they released small, crude elemental attacks at her.
Both attacks were partially absorbed, and the rest struck Viana, who did nothing as she had used a magic coating to protect herself.
"This talent consumes my stamina and Mana at the same time when its feature of absorbing attacks activates, but for flying around, it doesn’t consume anything." Viana grinned. "It can absorb damage and give me Prime Essence that I can use to empower myself physically and enhance my techniques. To make use of this talent, I’ll have to learn martial arts and master a weapon."
Clenching her fist, Viana couldn’t contain her excitement. "Finally, I got a talent that can let me fight."
"Congrats." Arga smiled. "So how fast can you fly with it?"
"I have to check that, but the overall performance and quality of the Prime Construct depend on my Sprout Force."
"Neat, then." Rovina nodded.
"So you awakened a talent, huh..."
Behind them, Kayan opened his eyes last, filled with frustration and disappointment.
Looking at his face and the words he said, Arga, Rovina, and Viana were taken aback.
"Kiddo, don’t tell me you failed?" Arga blinked.
"Yeah..."
"Well, it happens sometimes. No need to beat yourself up over it." Rovina smiled. "Next time, you can succeed."
Kayan stood up and nodded with a straight face. "Yeah."
But the trio could see that his fists were still clenched tightly.
"Hoho, it seems everyone’s awake and ready to cause some rumble."
Vesh descended with Kaeli on his shoulder and a grin on his face.
He looked at their statuses and saw the progress.
"Oh? Kayan, you failed?" Vesh laughed. "I had a feeling it wouldn’t work."
"Heh?" Kayan blinked. "Why did you think that?"
"I mean, I was expecting too much by letting you awaken a talent called Rational Mind." Vesh wryly smiled. "However, I believe you are close now. You already have a different vibe. You must have experienced something."
"Yes... I was living a different life, one where I was with two people who called themselves my parents. I lived for a few years, I think. It was good, but it was fake. I wanted to believe it, but I already knew it was fake. I don’t remember my parents anyway."
"But what if they were not fake?" Vesh blinked. "What if King’s Rule merely found your real parents and showed them to you?"
"Although late, I kind of found out about my parents," Vesh added with a wry smile. "But I still don’t know about my mother. I would like to know about her someday, directly from my father, and that day is not far. In my conquest, I will encounter him."
If he didn’t die before that.
"So what should I do?" Kayan asked in a low voice. "I am rational in thinking that it’s not real. It will bring no benefit to me."
"Then, say you see a person beating someone you know, like if someone is beating Arga or Rovina. What would you do?"
Kayan snorted. "Simple. I’ll kill them."
"Now, let’s say we have more people, and you know someone. That someone made a mistake and was getting beaten up, but you don’t know that, and yet, without knowing the full story, you went ahead and killed one party."
Vesh smiled and continued. "That’s a problem, right? So the rational thought should not be to just kill someone right off the bat. In my world, we will pursue truth for justice and give punishment after knowing the full facts."
Kayan frowned, then nodded as his expression eased. "I see. I got it. I have a rational mind now."
Vesh laughed. "Don’t worry. What you have is not your fault. Your thinking was shaped by your actions, which were dictated by other people. But your new life is different. Take your time and shape it. I will guide you."
Kayan nodded soberly. "Yeah. If I do as you say, it will be better. I won’t kill anyone unless you permit me."
"That’s what you call a rational man." Vesh chuckled.
Kayan smirked.
Arga and the others smiled.
Kiddo.
"Alright, so is everyone ready for the surprise?"
"You bet your ass we are." Arga rubbed his palms. "I will not be shocked this time, whatever you have built."
"Oh? Haha, let’s see how it goes then." Vesh laughed and spread his arms.
"Behold, the Skylord Behemoth K. Short for Kaeli."
"Meow!" Kaeli meowed loudly, visibly excited.
Everyone looked up as the clouds parted and something flickered into existence that had been seemingly invisible to their eyes a second ago.
A cat.
A cat that was as big as their entire island!
Completely silent, it floated upside down with its head right above them. Its bright and streamy blue eyes, like a mix of digital and magic, blinked at them before—
"MEOW!"
Its meow sounded exactly like Kaeli’s meow, just much louder!
"Meow!" Kaeli responded.
Vesh grinned. "Looking cute and harmless, this behemoth has a total of 37 different offensive and defensive systems. It’s made with a metal I’d like to call Nanites, which are like living cells and capable of assembling into any formation by feeding them information."
Above, the cat’s seemingly fluffy ears flapped before they scattered and reassembled into some kind of giant barrelled gun with meter-long ballistic bullets shining with neon crimson and blue patterns.
"This is called Tommy’s Twin Mini Blasters. Ultra-penetrative and high-temperature blasts within a perfectly contained radius of 20 meters." Vesh grinned. "It’s time to test the power of our first military system."
"Eh? Don’t tell me we are going to fire it below?" Arga scratched the back of his head.
"Of course not." Vesh coldly chuckled. "We’ll drop it on those pieces of trash who like to sacrifice people."
"King’s Rule. I fly towards the nearest Great Tenebrous Light cult’s branch."
[King’s Rule Executed]

"Let’s go. When we are in front of others, address me as Shadow Lord Eka." A ripple of energy coursed over Vesh’s body as his form was swallowed by a dashing, jet-black suit. Sleek, metallic, and perfectly contoured like a predator forged from midnight steel. Neon-blue and crimson lines traced across its surface in sharp, linear patterns, crossing each other in different rhythm as if pulsing faintly like veins of power beneath the armor.
"And you are the four Shadow Executives. We are the most loyal subjects of Lord Vesh, the king of the Ananta Kingdom. We’ll think of your name on the way."
Arga, Rovina, Kayan, and Viana suddenly saw four streams of exotic metal particles covering them and transforming into exotic suits like Vesh had, each with a different color design and style suitable for them.
