Kiss the Scumbag-Chapter 134
It’s okay, this is just an adjustment period.
Yujin had lived isolated from society all this time. It would take time for him to get used to relationships with people and the various systems. After returning to the family, Winston’s first priority was to hire someone who could help with that—so that while he was absorbed in work, Yujin could live his own life.
I’m different from my father.
He would let Yujin do whatever he wanted. But for that, Yujin needed education to understand what he truly wanted. His relationship with the staff seemed pretty good. Yujin learned many things from him. Once, he got so absorbed in movies that he watched nothing else for a whole week; another time, he fell in love with photography and asked Winston to buy him a camera. Gradually, he would learn one thing at a time. It was painful that Winston couldn’t join that process, but it was unavoidable.
I need to take a vacation next week.
He wanted to travel together and experience all the things Yujin had learned so far. They had too little time like that, so they had to build it piece by piece. That’s why Winston had been willingly working overtime for days, hoping their good time would come soon.
Even though he knew nothing about Yujin.
Gordon’s words suddenly came to mind, stirring Winston’s anger again. He even regretted letting it slide. He vowed to make him regret it someday and hurriedly finished his remaining work.
When he barely finished, it was well past midnight. Heading to a hotel to catch a nap before the first flight, his phone suddenly vibrated. Sitting in the driver’s seat, idly checking his emails, Winston stopped in his tracks.
At first, he thought it was spam—some trash sending obscene mails.
But just as he was about to delete it, a call came from an unknown number. Probably his exhausted brain failed to follow usual orders. Unlike usual, Winston answered. He realized his mistake when he heard a voice on the other end. A low sigh escaped Winston as the man spoke.
“Uh, Winston Campbell?”
The uncertain voice made Winston frown, remaining silent. After a pause, the man hurriedly spoke again.
“Uh, you’re Winston Campbell, right? Did you get the mail I sent?”
Haah, letting out a deep sigh, Winston tried to hang up. As if seeing this, the man shouted rapidly.
“We have tons of videos like that. If you don’t want them online, pay up!”
“Really? Thanks for the tip.”
Winston spoke indifferently and immediately hung up. As he was deleting the mail, another came with a similar video attached. Thinking he’d been caught by some thug, he tried to delete it, but suddenly paused. The man in the video looked somehow familiar.
...No way.
Frozen, the phone rang again—from the same number. Hesitating briefly, Winston answered.
“See? You saw it, right? The mail I sent?”
The man’s tone was much more aggressive. Winston paused before replying.
“Anyone can make fake videos like that.”
“If you think it’s fake, get an expert to check. They’ll say it’s 100% real.”
He sounded confident. No fool would try such a transparently fake scam.
His faith in Yujin wavered for a moment, but he soon changed his mind. Such things could be faked anytime. It might be someone disguised to look like him.
“Even if the video is real, it doesn’t prove that’s someone I know. Don’t waste my time, and don’t contact me again.”
As he tried to hang up, the man suddenly spoke again.
“Really? So you don’t care if it spreads all over the internet?”
That shook Winston for a moment. Even if it wasn’t real, Yujin might suffer. Maybe he should pay to stop it.
But then more thugs like this would swarm in.
Ha, Winston let out a short sigh and spoke coolly.
“Do as you like. It’s not real anyway. But don’t forget—we’ll find you and make you pay.”
This time he truly hung up. No more time to waste. As he tried deleting the °• N 𝑜 v 𝑒 l i g h t •° mail, the video appeared again despite his efforts. Winston deleted the video of someone who looked so much like Yujin, surrounded by several men, receiving semen and wearing an ecstatic expression. He knew without looking in the mirror that his face was twisted in disgust.
Who made such a filthy video?
It was well known there were groups who extorted money by threatening innocent people this way. Of course, before falling victim, nobody thinks it could happen to them. Winston had learned firsthand how disgusting it was.
Whether they spread the video or not, he’d catch them and half-kill them.
He couldn’t forgive anyone making that about Yujin. Resisting the urge to delete more mails, he put his phone down.
Suddenly, he wanted to see Yujin’s face. He wanted to go immediately, check that nothing had happened, and hold him tight. Promise to protect him from the whole world and kiss him.
How shocked and scared would Yujin be if he knew he’d gotten such mails?
Torn between wanting to teach Yujin how scary the world was and not wanting to frighten him, Winston chose the latter. Did he really need to know? He could be happy safely inside the protective barrier Winston had made.
Yujin had lived lonely and isolated until now. He was just beginning to meet new people and broaden his world—Winston couldn’t shut that down again.
It’ll be okay.
Thinking so, he started the car. After all, wasn’t he growing stronger for that very reason? So Yujin didn’t have to know about such filthy things.
I’ll protect you.
Winston vowed and pressed the accelerator. Suddenly, he missed Yujin terribly. He couldn’t wait until morning. As he drove, he called the pilot.
“Sorry to bother you, but can I rent a private jet? Immediately.”
The VIP service operator, running 24/7, was startled and rushed to arrange a plane. It would take two hours for the pilot and crew to be ready. Winston soon boarded the private jet and headed to Yujin.
When the plane landed at the airport, there was still plenty of time before dawn. The early morning city was quiet and eerie. Winston immediately took a taxi to his home. The night guard at the entrance greeted him with a surprised face.
“Y-You’re coming now?”
His expression seemed flustered, but Winston ignored it and took the private elevator. Yujin would probably be asleep by now. Just thinking about holding him and falling asleep together seemed to relax his tense shoulders. Watching the numbers change floor by floor, his heartbeat quickened.
“Winnie!”
Imagining Yujin waking up in the morning and smiling at him, a smile spread across Winston’s lips. At the same time, his anger toward the scammer who made that ridiculous video flared again.
There are too many bastards in the world who deserve to die.
Maybe I should make a list? There are plenty of people who’d kill for money. He was drafting a mental list when the elevator dinged. Winston smoothed his furrowed brows and waited for the door to open.
“Darling...”
He stepped into the entrance with a bright smile but immediately stopped. An unexpected scent filled the house.
The pheromones of another alpha—not his own.
