Chapter 141: Trial Of Water Part 5: The Lady Of The Depths Emerges, None Of You Are Dying Here!

"Looking at this ugly thing take another form won’t be the best of all ideas." Darius could tell from what he felt that Aya was not done with them.

He looked at his teammates, trying to see if they were ready for what was going to happen and how it was going to happen.

They were ready...

Smiling, he turned to look at Aya, taking in her form. It wasn’t something he would want to face in the real world, but then, here was nothing he could do.

"Whatever that monster is doing, it’s good at it."

Raya commended, she spotted something, and from the looks of things. It wasn’t the kind of thing anyone would want to see, but she was trying to strike the monster, but then with each strike she made, there was no way for her to wound it.

"Alright, this is what’s happening now." Darius had observed what was going on, and he knew that nothing good would come out of them standing around.

’Darius, from the looks of things, I think that thing is planning to use that form to take all of you down and I would love to say that this isnt going to be the easiest thing for you to run away from.’

Azree spoke up, but Darius had a smile on his face; it was not clear what he had on his mind, but the smile on his face was enough to tell them something.

’I’m not scared, Azree, if anything, that ugly thing should be the one scared.’ Darius took his stance, looking at the monster taking form in front of him. It was not even clear if it was going to attack.

"Theo, Michael."

He called out, taking his stand while looking at the monster; he knew the next thing would be a powerful surge of energy coming from the evolved Aya.

The two turned to him, seeing the look on our young warrior’s face, they knew what it meant, and the next thing that was going to follow was not a shock to them in any way.

"We are going to hit hard and fast!" Darius drew Ve’xa, turning to Raya, who was waiting for him to say something to her.

"You wouldn’t mind adding more firepower to your attack?" He smiled, looking at her. Raya nodded, suddenly her body was covered with blue flames covering the top part of her body, followed by her sword.

Darius turned to Aya, and the cocoon was still glowing. He braced himself for what was about to emerge.

[Warning! The Guardian Is Taking The Evolved Form, Lady Of The Depths!]

Darius clung to Ve’xa with a villainous smirk on his face as he waited for something; his legs were covered in flames as he waited for it to settle.

"Now!" Darius launched himself at top speed, and he was moving at speeds that would be seen as inhuman and unnatural.

"Scatter and devour, Ve’xa!"

Darius swung his blade, breaking it into seven segments. The blade crashed into the cocoon.

The sheer impact of his blade and the cocoon pushed the others back. It was as if the barrier was not letting him get closer to Aya.

Suddenly, a tentacle swung out of the cocoon, coming directly for Darius, but it was stopped by a golden blast.

Michael was fast with his thinking;g, he didn’t let anything get past his eyes like that.

"Thank you!" Darius yelled. He was using the flames on his leg as a rocket booster.

"We should not let anything get past—"

Before Darius could finish, his body was drilled with bullets from Aya, and he was sent flying, crashing back into the walls.

"Darius!"

The other three yelled together; they didn’t know what they were going to think happened to him.

Theo wanted to rush for Darius, but before he was able to move front a powerful wail pushed him back too.

Aya has emerged from the cocoon; the energy leaking from her was enough to kill a man on impact.

"I will kill all of you!" She roared, the dungeon shook with her voice shaking the walls to the foundation.

Michael and Raya took their position, knowing that the next attacks coming from the monster would be faster and fiercer.

"Michael, you have to heal the captain and Darius!"

Raya sent slashes for Aya, her eyes fixed on the guardian.

Michael had seen the terrifying nature of the monster, and he knew that nothing was letting her win easily. He knew that the only way she would make it out was if he were fighting alongside her. "But—"

"No buts!" Raya stopped Michael from protesting; she knew what he wanted to do, and it was rather admirable to her, but then there was something at hand, and there was no way anyone would let anything happen to their friends like that.

"Both of us can put up a fight, but for how long?"

Her words hit Michael by surprise. He knew she wasn’t in any way wrong, but then...

"Alright, I will go for the captain first, then I will make sure I heal Darius!"

Michael rushed for Theo, Raya turned to look at Aya, and she could feel the pure malice coming from that cocoon, and it wasn’t yet open fully.

Aya burst open, and her entire body was glowing like the pond, a light hanging over her head. Nine massive tentacles beside her, the pond stirred with her standing there. Her face was even more flawless than ever, with teeth that would rival those of any piranha.

"Mortal girl, you will die here and now!" She roared at Raya.

The blue flame princess took a step forward. Her eyes were on the monster, trying to see if she would make a stand there.

"That is not very ladylike!" Raya, covering her katana with flames, sent a powerful slash at the monster.

Aya dodged sending bullets for Raya; it was a clash for the fastest, and Raya was able to exceed certain speeds.

She used the blue flame the way Darius was using his flames to float around the water, getting close to Aya.

Once she was close enough she leaped into the air, twirling herself midair, and she released a powerful attack.

"Blue Dragon Descent: Imperial Slash!"

A huge blue flame slash went for Aya, the monster tried to block it but then it was strong enough to take off the tentacle she used to block it.

Raya smiled, but that move took a bit of toll on her. She was a bit out of energy, trying to get away on time.

Aya was in pure rage when she saw her tentacle fall off. She turned to see Raya about to escape.

Hardening another tentacle, she sent it for the warrior.

"Die!"

Raya turned to see the attack coming, knowing that she didn’t have anything to block that blow.

’So this is it?’ Raya slowly accepted her fate, closing her eyes, trying not to look at what was about to happen to her.

Clang!

Raya felt a certain warmth close to her, opening her eyes to see Darius standing in front of the attack. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

"Darius?"

Our young warrior held her tightly, his face in pure rage.

"None of you are dying here!"
