Back at the Warriors’ Association headquarters, Victor was trying to keep his mind occupied.

He sat behind his desk, a lazy smile stretched across his face, eyes flicking between papers he wasn’t reading.

"You know there is no need for you to try and hide yourself." He leaned back looking at the window. "Sylus,"

The mage revealed his face from the shadows, and he had a smile on his face.

"You do know that is considered creepy to some people."

Sylus stepped in, the smile on his face as he waltzed into the office.

"Say, Erion."

"Told you I don’t like that name." Victor shot him a deadly glare, and Sylus raised his hand backing off knowing what Victor was able to do.

"Sheesh, I have not seen anyone try to make a fuss about their name."

The mage turned to the other side of the office, looking out the window. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

"I came to tell you that the child of chaos has taken down the Guardian, he is stronger than what we imagined. Thalryia’s guardian is one of the strongest in all of them but he took her down like she was a child."

Victor had a smile on his face, he knew there was no way for Darius to even lose a fight but then he was going to be keeping his head low in the meantime.

"That is great news, but then what of the brothers?"

He stared at the mage, knowing that with Aya down it meant that they would be expecting one of Urus’ brothers to come through the crack on the block.

Sylus was silent...

"The crack is there, one of them will slip through and you know what it means."

Victor nodded his head, he knew what was going to happen soon and how it was going to happen.

"I hope that the warriors are ready to fight," Victor said, looking up, the smile on his face fading a bit. "They were all close to unlocking new levels in their power."

Back inside the dungeon, Theo, Raya, and Michael went closer to see the crater that Darius had formed when he turned the water in the pond to mist.

They stood over it looking down, It was still shocking for all of them to see what Darius could do if he was pushed to the edge.

"You know, I could bet that there was no way this would have been possible but..."

Michael was looking in, and he lost his footing falling into the empty pond.

"Michael!"

Theo and Raya yelled in unison, trying to grab him but they saw him floating.

"Did you try to fall into see what I was still doing?"

They heard a familiar voice, it was Darius floating out of the crater with Pryion by his side.

"I always forget you pull that guy out from your back pocket." Theo teased, noticing the tired look on his face.

’What happened to you?’ Theo thought to himself, he didn’t know what but it was on his face.

Darius smiled as he carefully placed Michael on the other side.

"Sorry if you got worried," he smiled, stepping onto the dry side to talk with his allies. "I needed to make sure that nothing was going to be a problem for us."

Pryion got down, he was silent almost like he had seen something that made him not want to say a thing.

He was looking at Darius and wondered what could make a human even want to take such risks to protect what he loved.

Moments before Darius came out of the crater...

Darius has taken Aya’s core, he was looking at it.

’You are planning to mutate your feral side even more?!’ Azree wasn’t happy to see what was going on in Darius’s mind.

Our young warrior was silent for a while, he knew what was going to happen if it was absorbed.

"I need to make sure that whoever it is I am going to face in there isn’t going to kill me, I was only able to make it out of the Trial of Fire due to that risk."

’That was then, how are you sure that you will be able to get through this one by taking this risk?’

Azree kept trying to talk reason into Darius, but there was something still eating our young warrior up.

’You can survive absorbing the core but I am telling you that once you eat that chunk of flesh from that dead guardian, your fate is sealed!’

"Azree, tell me do you believe we can change fate?"

Darius asked from nowhere, his voice calm and soothing.

Azree couldn’t say anything else, the question came all of a sudden and it was like there was a reason behind it.

"Fate isn’t a law we should abide by, no one can seal our fate nor can our actions ultimately seal." Darius continued, looking at the core and Aya’s flesh in his hand. "If I am scared that each action I take will seal my fate then I am nothing but a coward."

Darius began absorbing the core, and he could feel something different. The warm cozy feeling of the sea moving across the core, his entire body began reacting.

"Arghh!" Darius cried in pain, and his eyes began glowing. Every single nerve in his body began reacting, he couldn’t stop it.

[Absorption Process Beginning!]

[Water Elemental Properties Are Now Permitted!]

[Absorption Complete!]

Darius stood there, absorbing the core that almost knocked him out but then he still needed to make sure that he would eat the chunk of flesh.

Closing his eyes, he swallowed the piece of flesh. Almost immediately, his body began shaking rapidly almost sending him into his feral mode.

The scales on his body glowed more, his body vibrating faster than he could imagine.

[Foreign Material Taken—changing the host’s body to match the foreign material!]

[Mutation complete!]

[Form Two— Ravanging Sea Beast!]

Darius stood there, silent, panting heavily as he slowly got his balance.

"Finally!" Darius clenched his fists, he was ready to face the Trial.

Present Time...

Darius walked to where Michael was standing and sat down there.

"Can you please heal me up?" He smiled, "I need to get into that temple and handle the monster there."

"Huh?!" Michael was shocked, he knew that Darius was strong but then...

Theo heard what Darius was saying and he knew that he meant he was going to take the main beast alone. "How on earth are you going to—"

"You have to stay here with them so that nothing happens..."

Darius cut him off, he knew that there was a chance that Theo would want to stop him from going into the temple but then he knew what would happen if he didn’t.

"If you leave here and join me inside then all of us will be exhausted by the time we are done."

He turned to Theo, and both of them were staring at each other.

Darius tried something that he didn’t know if would even work.

"Theo..."

He was talking to Theo telepathically, Theo didn’t even know how it was possible for him to hear Darius’s voice in his head.

"How is this..."

"I am using a power of mine, I can’t use it for long but I need you to stay here with Pryion and the others, something is coming from that fight just like that other being with the Orcs."

"What? But that thing was a disaster there was no way we would have been able to handle it if you weren’t there!"

"Yes, I am aware so I am trusting you with this. If you can take it down, then do it but I want you to make sure that there is no way for that monster to enter the temple."

Theo was looking at Darius, and he could see the look on his face.

"You’re hurt, aren’t you?"

"Don’t worry about me brother, I will be fine and I will make sure that nothing is going to happen to any of you!"

Darius smiled, Michael had started healing him. He knew that the only thing going to hold him down was if he didn’t have enough stamina.

"I will take down the Champion, nothing is going stop me not even fate!"

Theo smiled, he knew that there was no way anyone would be able to talk Darius out of going into the temple alone and he knew that there was going to be more problems if he didn’t enter.

"Alright Brother, I will make sure that there are no complications from this side. Now I want you to do something for me."

"And that is?"

"You best come back to us alive, or I will end you myself!"

Darius wasn’t surprised, he knew more than anything that Theo wouldn’t be the type to want to imagine something bad happening to him.

"I will be back, I will make sure of it!"
